chris farley isn't dead he is just living in a van down by the river
Cause everyone can't amount to JACK SQUAT!!!
Yep in heaven.
Hell yeah...and he's probably laughing at your comment now🙂
You prick, i originally wrote that in the chris farley prison speech video lmao come up with your own material Thomas Edison
i know it is kinda off topic but does anybody know of a good place to watch newly released tv shows online ?
The more he straightens his belt, the more powerful he becomes.
Todoroki Shoto OMG yes!
Half n Half... is that you man?? What you doing here.
Katsuki Bakugou What I damn well please, Explodork.

I forgot he was in this sketch,he sure had fun though!
Matt Foley
"once there was a boy who liked to throw things."
"He started out throwing eggs."
"Then he threw the big game."
"then he threw back his shot of whisky."
"then he threw up."
"then he got thrown out of the house and then he moved into a van down by the river."
R.I.P Chris Farley 1964-1997 we all miss you.
We’re you transcribing that for the deaf? Kind of a dick move not to do the whole video.
@Nathan Mitchell lmao
Comment of 2021 right there.
Press F to pay respects to the big game.
There'll never be another Chris Farley.
They kept trying to replace him with Jack Black, Jonah Hill etc. Lol.
@@thegamingchef3304 What terrible choices, though there aren't any choices.
There are many Chris Farleys on coke
@@thegamingchef3304 Melissa McCarthy thinks she's a female Chris Farley as well. Not even close. She's annoying AF.
he was the second John Candy
I love how Matt Foley always sounds like he could break down into tears at any moment haha.
+Dfountain96 Ha ha
+BigAl Willis I think he also got his inspiration from his school football coach as well.
Dfountain96 I know right I could inmate him as Matt Foley and Tommy from Tommy boy and Chris Farley himself
Maybe it’s a little leak of all that he bottled up inside.
Lol perfect description 👏
The curtain pull is absolutely legendary.
It starts with the stomping at the fire till the end. Magic mojo. Replayed it just now 20 times and yes the curtain fall is unexplainable
👌
@@rickjensen2833 was curtain pull improv? or scripted?
it's so good
@@bubbaXzone Of course it was scripted.
Farley never broke character. He made everyone laugh, and stayed right in the character, always. 100% all in.
He very slightly broke character in the one where he speaks to the Mexican family . He cracks up slightly lol such a good matt foley skit
There is a scene where he plays the husband & Adam Sandler plays the wife where he caresses Sandler's thigh in order to make him laugh.
He actually breaks character a lot. He always tried making Sandler laugh and would sneak in subliminal smirks and weird shit that would make Sandler just lose it.
Yeah he didn’t laugh (slater and the girl couldn’t stop).
Hartmann never broke character
Chris always made it a point to make David crack up and break character. I miss the Chris and David dynamic..
They were best friends
I thought spade hated him
nah man they were best friends. They likely got in fights like best buds do from time to time, but they were always good.
@@msparkes1990 No they were best friends. But they did bicker from time to time., like "an old married couple", as Spade described it.
@@randyholder4840 they were not best (that was an image they sold) but good friends but didnt part as friends...or as Spade said,
" He was starting to hang around shady people, drug people who used him and he was starting to become a real mean asshole at the end,too much booze and drugs. I couldnt be around that,i walked away..." it was probably the right choice but it must still haunt him.
Older I get the more a van down by the river seems like a good setup
PersephoneRising333 Same 😂
yeah but can't park anywhere in the US for more than an hour before the cops come. lol
A lot of folks WISH they were luvin in a van down by river. America is throwing people ON THEIR ASSES. and its getting pretty bad
Maybe a RV down by the river? Just saying...
It would certainly be more affordable
I heard during rehearsal Chris Farley would practice the skits all normal and tame but soon as they went live he purposely acted extra crazy to throw everyone else off
Also showtime is probably when he would snort coke
That was usually in sketches where he was cast as a minor, unfunny character with just one line. He'd throw on a little extra sauce at the live show to make people break.
But for sketches like Matt Foley, he'd already have people laughing at the rehearsals.
I used to watch everyone else to see who he could get to crack. There is no way I could have kept a straight face with him doing that.
Norm did that too. Genius!
@@trevordalmon328 He was sober from Christmas 1992 to Christmas 1995
“I’ am the egg man, goo, goo, kachew” Cracks me up every time. 🤣
Christian slater is looking at him in pure amazement and awe when he goes through the table with spade
Saw this comment exactly when he fell through table
I think it was supposed to be the other way around, David Spade was supposed to go through the table, as you can see by Melanie Hutsell's reaction since she broke character
Rest in peace
Chris Farley (1964 - 1997)
Phil Hartman (1948 - 1998)
Passed away only 6 months apart, THAT'S sad....
There is an alternate reality where Farley lived to complete his voice work for Shrek and get help for his drug addiction...where Andy Dick was stabbed by a mugger on the way to give Phil's wife the coke, and Hartman went on to his own chat show or sitcom
Any reality where Andy Dick is taken out and both Farley and Hartman are alive is a reality I want to live in
@@Rochelle1985 Jan Hooks gone in 2014, she was there with both of them
add Jan Hooks to the list too, she is so missed
I’m not sure if it was on purpose or not, but I think it’s so sweet that when he and Spade fell onto the table that Farley made sure that his friend didn’t get hurt at all. He took all the impact. Farley and Spade were best friends, anyone could tell that much 😭❤️ RIP CHRIS FARLEY
Spade lost it when Farley passed away. Spade and Sandler. They felt the blow pretty hard.
Not sure if Matt Foley or Mick "Mankind" Foley
Yeah, it was a classic stunt where he used his body to protect spade but to carry through the joke.
But Spade is nowhere to be found when Farley needs him the most
@@MrFarid345 Meaning...?
When he says THRICE divorced, Christian Slater looks like he is gunna lose it
I love this ♡
I know i did 😂😂
Matt Foley deserved his own movie. Imagine how great it would have been.
Oh, God, yes! Lol
Let me guess movie would be called Living in a van down by the river 😂
Yes....on a cross country odyssey.
But the bill from furniture cleanup would have been more then the whole bill for all the astar Wars movies
It could have been a prequel about how he ended up LIVING IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!
He was a brilliant physical comedian, he'd hurt himself for a laugh everytime, lol
True. I read how he felt he had to entertain anytime he was around ppl..sad. So heart 💔. My oldest son was a chubby guy growing up and could do a fantastic job doing matt foley in his teen yrs☺️
Lmao when he opens the door and yells "Oh My God" from the flaming shit bag lmao I nearly died from laughter.
Im doubling over with laughter...totally unexpected
Rumor has it that Billy Madison and his friends were at the door that night.
David stayed on the floor cause he was laughing so hard 😂
I always thought it was because he’d gotten hurt when he and Farley fell.
@@airdriver that's what i thought too
Didn't he get a concussion?
@@annawalker5569 Don't see how, he fell right on Farley. It's probably funnier b/c he knows him.
@@airdriver nope Chris didn't let David take any impact
I saw this skit live back in the day. I had just got home and had a couple drinks in me. I just remember laughing so hard, I could barley breathe. Especially when he stepped on the flaming dog shit and then fell through the window. I kept on laughing hours after it was over. Farley has to be one of the funniest people that ever lived. He was great in all of his characters.
I’m laughing just reading your comment. This is awesome.
That man has made it his mission to destroy the table every time he was in their house.
When he just gets right up in Spade's face and straight up nuzzles his ear. he's like daring him to laugh.
R.I.P Chris your humor and humbleness as a human being will never be forgotten.

M Palmer Slater is alive
M Palmer it’s called aging
+M Palmer and is it a coincidence that Chris looked like a speedball?me thinks too much knot
i think it was a reference to his career...
Matt Foley caused WAY more damage than these hooligans did throwing eggs.
your grip on reality is disturbing....
That's da point of his skits he is worse than da kids he is trying to motivate to better.

If I dont change this will be me kinda thing
Fire Marshall bill and Matt Foley would’ve been perfect together as a skit back than lol
Farley's physical comedy is pure gold...this is his best Foley skit by far!
I already laughed my ass off right when he said "JACK SQUAT!!" but by the time the sketch finished, I lost my ass but I continued to laugh.
Chris Farley is such a comedic source of hilarity. God rest his soul.

no one else could pull this off better than Chris Farley.
Chris Farley.. My childhood filled with laughter. Thank you. Rest In Peace friend.
David Spade's scream as they fall on the table, perfect!
I love that Chris Farley made sure he landed first. I guess David Spade was screaming because he thought he was going first instead.
@@shuboy05 Notice how he took David's weight completely on top of him? I like to believe that in spite of Chris being so fully in the character, he was still instinctively protecting his friend. Imagine taking that fall, fully on your back, with the extra weight of another person crashing on top of you. Talk about commitment!

This is one of the few skits where the other cast have a problem holding in their laughter. Farley was a comedy genius.
the cast breaking is kind of a staple of SNL, otherwise bland uninteresting skits get new life because the actors break during them
Red Skelton would get himself and the others cracking up.

A couple of the actors were not told that he would fall through the window...their reactions are REAL!
We only see one actor's reaction. She put her hand over her mouth. AMAZING!

"I am THRICE divorced." (and holds up three fingers)
"I am the Eggman. KOO KOO CA CHOOOO!"
"And I live in a VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!"
Chris Farley/Matt Foley one of the very best characters ever.
The "THRICE DIVORCED" line gets me every time!
Didn't he hold up 4 fingers?
I love Farely. But, this skit is a bit overrated. It wasn't that great.
My favorate one is how he always says JACK SQAUT
The original skit was written by Bob Odenkirk of “Better call Saul” fame.

Watching Farley break all but the great P Hartman will always be the best thing
The funniest bit isn't the people themselves, but the reactions of the people. But Chris found a way to do both😂
