- I will show you how to print and apply your own rub-on transfers from an inkjet printer using @SUNNYSCOPA transfer film.
(EDIT: see second video for further explanation of applying the adhesive layer)
I love that you arent dressed up and actually look like you are crafting. It always cracks me up when people are all dressed up with perfect nails and clothes.
I when I craft, I wear my crafting clothes. I love the video. First time I have seen you
Holly Molly...girl U R the first to show how to do the custom transfers...i have been searching for the answer and u just share knowledge...THANK YOU!!!!!!!
That Alice in Wonderland piece is AMAZING!!! Thank you for showing this process, so glad I found your channel!
You taught that very well. The piece you're doing is beautiful! Great imagination. Thank you for sharing.
I love watching you from years ago. So sweet and just having a conversation with us on the otherside of the camera. So down to earth.
Awesome THANK YOU!!!!! I love your creation
I was just sitting here wondering, "Can I make my own transfers?" I am so excited after seeing your video. I hope it's as easy as you make it look. Thank you so much for the instruction. I am going to subscribe too!
You know you're artsy when your pants and sweater look like this! right on!
awesome video! thank you
OMG!! I have been praying for a video like this!!!
Heather Rutherford the same here!!
Wow .This video tutorial is Gold dust ! Not going to waste my money on IOD transfer .Well done lady ..considering this video dates back to 2019 it remains very relevant im going to share this ... thank you cos your awesome !
I love using rub on transfers. And I love the idea of making my own. I just don't know it seems rather complicated and fiddly.
This is the best video I have seen describing the transfer system that you have used. I am waiting for my transfer papers to be delivered tomorrow. How fortuitous. :)
CeCe is a badass ! Lol I can see she loves life not just painting . With a bike and a basketball in the video, she didn’t feel the need to tidy up and make the background “pretty” for filming . Which tells me she’s all go !
l just found you and l am so happy l did because this is something l have wanted to learn. You sure know how to teach, if your not a teacher you should become one. l have subscribed to your channel because you are one of the very few who knows how to explain things for people to understand. Thank you, l will be picking up the tools l need to begin transfers. l know how to do most things, but this is one craft l have never done. For some time l wanted to learn this craft, but didn't find the right teacher that is until now. Again, thank you and l look forward to learning more with you!
THANK YOU!!! I bought transfer paper during your video and just made my own transfer today. It works wonderful!! Now my client can have the humming birds she wanted!! TY TY!
hi can you hare the rub on transfer paper you used, i dont want the sticker version. thank you in advance.

Ho. Did you use sunnyscopa rub on? If so how did you get rid of the shine of the transfer?
This was a very informative video and I really enjoyed watching and learning how to do my own rub on transfers
Great ! First time to completely understand how to do a transfer. Thank you sooo much.
Thankyou for taking the time to teach this technique ❤
Thanks for sharing CeCe, I have some of this paper and didn't quite understand how it works, now I do. Opens up a whole new world of custom design. Can't wait to try it.
Hi. Did you try the sunnyscopa transfer? If so how did you get rid of the shine the transfer leaves?
@@carolannmacdonald5086 Yes, that is the problem with transfers, it leaves a shiny look, and I don't think that a matte finish even helps that.
Thank you for this information,I never knew they had such a thing.Your dresser is beautiful
Wow!🤗. Beautiful work, you definitely gave me more ideas for my next project! You did an amazing job explaining the transfer process, thank you.
Omg so great to find this. Ty so much CeCe
Great tutorial, Cece. I love that dresser.
Thank you! I follow you an FB and looked up this topic...Happy to see you pop up! LOVE that you are a teacher.
Genius!!!! 😍😍😍 This is a game changer! Thank You!
Thanks CeCe for sharing your creative hints & tips. 👍🏻😊
Girl you look like me! I'm always covered in paint! Lol as I wss typing that the blow dryer came on. I said yep she IS ME 😍 great tutorial thanks so much for creating this!
This paper is a game changer! Thankyou so much for sharing. Was so much easier than useing the waterslide paper I was useing before.
I just love watching you create
.. you are an excellent instructor ... xx
Thankyou, this is a fantastic video. I am in Australia and I bought dry rub decal paper that I use in my laser printer
Hi Gail, I'm in Australia too! Can I please ask where you got your decal paper from? Having trouble getting the right stuff!
Beck S Amazon Australia sell the same brand of paper for $22 AU (It ships from the US so postage could be expensive) I did a google search for decal paper and found an online company in Redfern NSW called Decal Paper. You get 5 sheets for $29 (plus postage) Hope this helps.
Great tutorial. Just know that if you heat your artwork on the varnished floor that you can lift the varnish and the floor’s wood fiber. Always use a heat mat.
Holy tomoly that’s awesome looking !!! That piece is incredible!!
Thank you for making this video I've been trying to figure out how to do this with out the wet and rub method. You are very talented
Thank you for this tutorial
Awesome tutorial, thank you. Also, love your glasses!
I am so happy I came across this video. Thanks for sharing! You are so talented 💕
Really learned a lot from this tutorial. Thanks so much for sharing your process.
Transfers! Snoop! Fab rug in the background exactly like mine!!! Oh my! ❤
I'm an artist also and you are the princess of decals for sure
Transfers! Snoop! Fab rug in the background exactly like mine!!! Oh my! ❤
Great tutorial, I appreciate her sharing with us.
Well done, just love this video. Keep up the good work.
Russell from Newcastle upon Tyne UK
I love this idea I tried to buy this rub on transfer paper from Amazon but it keeps referencing water slide paper so that is different ( but also cool) do you have a link to Amazon for this particular paper?
Thank you Cece, Love you! I always learn something new with you!!!
I have been wanting to learn to do this forever!
What a wonderful tutorial! Thank you!
This is so funny I want to do an Alice in Wonderland and I just popped on and joined and you say that 😂
This is a great video CeCe, you did a very good job teaching us how to do your process. BTW hour desk is beautiful!!! There have been a lot of questions asked in the comments. Maybe you don’t see the comments.
I don't think she keeps up with this channel anymore
You are such a great instructor! Subscribed! I can't wait to try these.
This is incredible. Thank you for this video
Thanks so much for this super helpful tutorial. You're a very good teacher!
Love your design too
I love your piece. It's beautiful. I wonder - have you ever tried making your own transfers on the "shiny" side of label paper? I did do this on an old secretary desk, and like with the actual transfer paper, you have to reverse your image before printing but there's no need for the backing paper, the adhesive paper, etc., you just run it through your printer (I use my color laser printer), shiny side up, and then you just apply some gel medium or glue like Mod Podge to your piece, lay the paper down as you want it, burnish it with a tool or a credit card, wait for the transfer medium or Mod Podge to completely dry, then peel the paper off and you're done. It works great and I think it's easier than doing all the steps for the transfer paper.
Except if you can’t afford a color laser printer$$$
That's cool.. the shiny side of paper doesn't stick to mod podge ?? Love saving $$. Lol
Becca Becca, ink jet printers are very inexpensive, Target, Walmart, about $70.00
Right ink jet AREN'T expensive EXCEPT the woman suggested a LASER printer which she in turn commented back on to
@@Dawns_Creative_Carousel color lasers have come way down in price in the last couple of years.
My favorite piece! Thanks for sharing
Thanks dear for posting this informative video 🙏🌷
Soooo BEAUTIFUL
EXCELLENT VIDEO
YOU are a Great Teacher...
... I should know... I too, am a Teacher.
thank you so much for this info... :) (just a small heads-up...if you use an old toothbrush on the hairdryer to clean away any dust that is showing in that air circle there, 7:52 your dryer will last longer ) An old tip, but a good one. :)
Such a great video!! I was watching because I need something special BUT went to find the paper and no one is selling except Ebay and I don't want 100 sheets. CeCe, are you using another brand you can recommend?
Yes I cant find it either 🥺
I couldn't find it on Amazon either I was hoping you could give us the link to it. Amazon keeps referring to the water slide paper which is also very cool but a different animal..lol
Same here! Only water transfers available and that will not yield the same result.
I watched a video that they said just use wax paper!!! I’m going to use the wax paper and use a laser printer
me too. But i finally found out at their website. Sunnyscopa - 5 sheets or $10
Brilliant...I have heaps of grafix rub on film. Thanks 😁
I just brought Sunnyscopa transfer paper directly from manufacturer in Korea. Took a week to get to Australia.
That's cool. Do they have these for laser printers? Your desk is beautiful. I love the colors.
What a wonderful video! I've long wondered how to make a transfer. The commercial ones are so expensive..Thank you so much. Now I have to see if Amazon Italy has that paper AND that it's not an insane price. A small bottle of Dawn costs €99,00.
.
Thank you very much for this awesome video! Suler helpful!
Good stuff, alright! Beautiful!!
Hi Cece. Do you know if they still sell this transfer paper? I can't find it anywhere. Thank you.
Great video. I wonder if you could use Scan and Cut with a Silhouette to cut out designs
Omg love that peace alice is my favorite
Súper awesome tip👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for this CeCe!
Thisnis so so so exciting !!!!
Thank you, great video!
Are the transfers clear or do they all have a white background like a sticker?? Love to see some cut out flowers you have done.
I love it , beautiful ❣️
Fantastic! Thank you!!!
beautiful, really wish we could have seen the finished desk. :(
Good info but, your doing that on the floor?
Great ideal looks great
Subscribed! What program did you use to download your stock photos to your computer? May have to go shopping for an ink jet
Genius pure genius !
LOVE IT!
Do do print and send? ( with payment, of course.) I don’t have a printer.
I need American flag plus a 🦌 deer. ❤️ your easy to understand videos/tutorials. Thank you.
Hello, I think you just saved my life !!!lol. Do you think I would be able to use this to put my business on my hot tools, like a straighten ? Just like the blow dryer had words on it ?
I also only see waterslide decal paper
Wonder if this would work on a T-shirt? 😊
5:18 VERY BEAUTIFUL HAIR!
15:23 I love your hair!
Thank you!@
Hi can u show us a link where you find your images for some transfers? I'm looking to make a beach or mermaid type dresser with the ombre paint. I like your style tho.
CeCe mentioned that she licensed her image from Shutterstock. There are a lot of stock image sites. I maintain a monthly subscription with Adobe Stock for my graphic design and illustration business.
Hello, which paper settings do you use? Normal paper or photo paper? Color Quality standard or high? Thank you
Hi cc if i buy Epson Work Force WF 2830 inkjet with cartridges should this do the job i need help starting after watching your excellent tutorial?
You are awesome
Thanks for the great video. Have you ever tried this technique on leather? Tks. Laurel
Is waterslide decal paper the same thing? That's all I see on Amazon
It looks like it would almost be the same thing. Instead of rubbing, you just wet that. I think both would leave this shiny look, though. However, I know with the water slide paper you can coat it two or three times with a spray on matte clear coat....like a Rustoleum matte clear spray.
What kind of printer do you need for this?
How is this different to just glueing on the paper that you originally printed out?
Thank you for the detailed explanation! So the second sheet is the adhesive? Which side goes on the image?
HI CeCe I saw part to as well on this, as for Part 1 I’m wanting to know what program you are using to bring images down to computer, resize(are you resizing) and flipping in backwards?
Thank you for this tutorial, I wasn’t aware of the transfer paper. I’ve been using tattoo paper and water slide paper but this looks much easier.
it is not
Why is it when I buy rub on transfers the design is on the clear sheet?
You’re so pretty!!!
