      There are beautiful transfers out there you can purchase and use, but it's nice to know that you can come up with a design completely your own and make your piece truly one of a kind!!

    Had no idea you could do this with a regular printer if you let it dry for 24hrs. Beautiful project.

    I love this. You do BEAUTIFUL work. Also did you know they have water slide paper for dark objects as well I believe it's white so you would have an offset on your image. I thinking I am going to.do my daughters dresser with her favorite pokemon or maybe velociraptors🙄😂 I will make something pretty for me 😒😏😂😘

    Looking at Sunnyscopa website, there is this water slide film for laser and film for inkjet printers. So there is a difference.

    • @QueenBeeCreations
      @QueenBeeCreations  3 года назад +1

      I bought mine from Amazon, buy according to the type of printer you have and will use. there is a difference with how the ink is laid down for each so you do need to correct paper for the type of printer you have.

    Beautiful! I’ve been wanting to print my own transfers myself as well but wanted to use rub on transfer paper. Have you ever tried that type of paper and had success? I wonder if you have to seal those in the same way. Thank you for your inspiration!

    • @QueenBeeCreations
      @QueenBeeCreations  3 года назад +2

      I haven't used rub on transfer paper, though I have printed images out on regular paper and used the reverse decoupage method to transfer images. Completely different, but maybe I'll have to look for the rub on stuff and give that a try!

    What did you seal the chalk paint with before applying the decals? Did you use regular clear chalk paint wax?

    • @QueenBeeCreations
      @QueenBeeCreations  Год назад

      I sealed with a clear polyacrylic since I'd be using water to apply and move the water decals.

    How do you get rid of the edges of the water slide to disappear? I don't want it to be visible.

    • @QueenBeeCreations
      @QueenBeeCreations  8 месяцев назад +1

      The closer that you trim the paper to the design the less 'halo' but truly... the film itself is so thin (think plastic wrap thin) that you don't notice it and really can't even feel the edges when you run your fingers over the dried designs.

  • @KMF3
    @KMF3 Год назад

    I have not been able to get the water slides to work correctly. The paper just does not want to slide off the back and then I end up causing the front side with the image on it to crack.

    • @QueenBeeCreations
      @QueenBeeCreations  Год назад

      I’ve done them a number of times now and have not had any issues with them releasing from the backing paper… I’m using warm water, not cold, if that makes a difference. I’m not sure if the brand makes a difference or not though I just bought mine from Amazon and don’t think it was anything special.

    • @KMF3
      @KMF3 Год назад

      @@QueenBeeCreations maybe it's warm water because everything else that you're doing I've been doing
