@Absolutely Dreadful I think Norton was replaced due to his reputation as a bad co-worker, but what you say isn't without precedent. Look at Adam West, an incredibly talented actor typecast following his role as Batman on the 1960s TV series.

Even if Cheadle is better Howard still got fucked over pretty bad and have every right to complain. I definitely miss the Warriors Three. Thor: The Dark World was by no means a great movie, but it wasn't horrible, and the Warriors Three were part of the reason it wasn't horrible. I understand why they were killed off and why they were killed off so easily, but I still wish we could have seen more of them before that happened. The one I really miss wasn't mentioned here: Lady Sif. Jaime Alexander and Chris Hemsworth had great chemistry, and I was hoping that they would have Lady Sif and Thor get together. Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth have great chemistry as well and I love Valkyrie, so I'm fine with the outcome we got, I just wish we could see more of Sif. She hasn't been mentioned as of Endgame, so maybe we'll see her again in the future?

Only two of the three So, the story is that he was cast as Fandral for the first Thor and had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts and he was replaced by Josh Dallas. When it came time to shoot The Dark World, Josh Dallas was playing Prince Charming in Once Upon a Time, so HE was unavailable. But now Levi was free from his TV commitments and Marvel gave the role back to him. Thor lost a lot of actors to TV shooting schedules.
I've always felt that Quicksilver's death was beyond stupid. A perfect example of extremely amateur level writing of people who don't know what to do with the character. Somehow a character with the power of super speed and most likely could outrun a speeding bullet dies from getting shot multiple times. If this was The Flash he would be dancing around these bullets while having breakfast. For me it simply wasn't believable. I don't mind that Quick Silver died but you can't have a speedster die at the hands of thing that technically aren't fast enough to hurt him.
honestly people praise age of ultron and even say it's better than the first avengers. I'd say it's one of the worst MCU movies. Quicksilver got handed pointless death. The stakes were so much lower than the 1st. Why do you need avengers to "assemble" when Iron Man could've broken out more of those suits they were using, War Machine, and like maybe the Hulk (since the plot dictated he also be a moron fooling around with alien tech-another horrid plot point). Never-mind ultron, whose origin is based upon "those two idiot avengers did this." I can imagine if they now did a film with Ultron and using the actual origin of Hank Pymn having made him and rejected him and still no need for all the avengers in any way. But at least it would've had a better story. The only good thing about all that mess is how it so easily set up "Captain America Civil War" and how it allowed for it to make sense, have good plot points, etc (except for captain america making out with peggy carter's neice like the next scene after the funeral, seriously that is NOT steve rogers at all).
Even though they say it has nothing to do, I'm pretty sure the reason they had to kill him is because of the X-Men's Quicksilver. Fox had the rights and told Marvel to find a way to write him out. Sure they still did a pretty bad job killing him by bullets
Yeah there's a lot of these "nothing to do" stuff being said, but there's also people who have come out and admitted more currently, during, or later that's, most of the time there's a reason. The actress who played oliver queen's sister/speedy "II" on CW's "Arrow" commented on how "Suicide Squad" only got like one episode because they forced them to kill them all off quickly rather than it be an arc because of the film that was coming out like 6 months later to that episode's airing. @@smoky7451

As much as I like her as an actress. I'm actually happy that Natalie's character of Jane Foster stopped showing up in the MCU. Had the creators chosen to make her a nurse/field medic like the original comics and some animated incarnations had done, I'd like her more. Being nurse/medic is a much more logical and believable reason for Thor to have fallen for her than having Jane be a...whatever her profession was
Astrophysicist. She's an astrophysicist, which is a highly-respected profession. Why exactly would Thor be more likely to fall in love with a nurse rather than a brilliant world-renowned scientist?
@@theblackwidower Have you ever seen the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon before. There, Jane was a medic who frequently came to the assistance of those under attack by supervillains. At one point, Thor remarks upon how fragile mortal lives are. But at the same time, he's amazed that Jane is able to stand in the thick of a battle and help provide aid to those in need. It is this life that Jane leads which brings Thor to further insist to his father how important it is for mortals to be protected. Long story short; at the start of the series, Thor was rather arrogant. But it was seeing Jane's courage and selflessness in the field that inspired him to be heroic. I respect Norton as the immensely talented actor that he is, but he has a reputation for being troublesome to work with. Hard to not think that played a part in his replacement.
I swear that's the real reason marvel got rid of him. Or it was rumors floating about but this is what I have heard too
@Absolutely Dreadful I think Norton was replaced due to his reputation as a bad co-worker, but what you say isn't without precedent. Look at Adam West, an incredibly talented actor typecast following his role as Batman on the 1960s TV series.
Actors changing the script or the lines uninvited is kind of disrespectful to the writers. They're usually tied to their diva behaviors as well.
@@shiva6lin I disagree, actors should be allowed and encouraged to improvise to some extent. It adds a sense of realness to the performance.

@@smoky7451
Don Cheadle is way better than Terrence Howard. Better actor by far.
Terence Howard has always had a big ego.
Man ur smoking crack
Whatever YT Unpopular opinion, but I agree.
Who's the better actor is irrelevant. NO ONE would take a 80%-90% pay cut. NO ONE. Especially if you were the highest paid actor in the film (Iron Man). The "better actor" got the scraps.
No
Their contracts just ended Chris Evans wants to become a director
Say WWWHHHHHAAA?
@@manuelalbertoromero9528 chris evans is also said to have direct a show on disney +
Imagine not being in the mcu long enough to not be in endgame....tuff
I still wish they had kept thanos the same as from Guardians volume 1....
He looked way more huge, Sinister and Powerful.... it Runs chills down my spine everytime I watch that scene from Guardians volume 1 where Thanos' chair turns to talk to Ronan..
that Blue head, and that wide smile was sick...
Now, tell me...how is an astrophysicist (whatever that is) more inspiring than a field medic/nurse
She didn't stop showing up? Watch all the movies before you make assumptions
terrence howard dropped the ball
Richh T yeah in hindsight that huge pay cut prol woulda been worth though it in the long run..
thats when u renegotiate @@edgarallanpoe8917
Awesome videos 👌🏼
Whether or not u liked Edward Norton as Bruce Banner the hulk looked 100% better visually
No way, he looked like a cartoon.
hellllll naw
not with endgame just coming out
Well, Zachary Levi got a better deal. SHAZAM! It fits him so much better.
Yea that was one of the best dc movies.
Word
Terrence is making more being the lead of Empire anyway. It's done way more for his career than playing the sidekick. So it worked out for the best.
Rhodey was kinda bad casting now its perfect
Idk... Ive never liked Iron Patriot.
But it all makes sense. At the time T Howard, Norton, even Jeff Bridges were bigger actors than the unreliable RDJ...
Makes me appreciate my lowest points in life even more.
I was so scared when I saw Quicksilver thinking he'd had a beef with Marvel and I was so thankful he didn't. At least he might have a chance at my boy returning
Before the pandemic Hugo Weaving was at the National Theatre doing a play which was cut short. I heard he turned down doing red skull to do the play, I’m not surprised he’s stepping away from big films, he’s a theatre actor.
