This is really interesting! I’m curious, what criteria were used to determine these cities as the best? Is it based on factors like cost of living, safety, or quality of life? Also, are there any cities that didn't make the list but are still worth considering? Looking forward to learning more!
The best cities are usually ranked based on factors like quality of life, cost of living, safety, and infrastructure. Cities like Lisbon, Vienna, and Portland may not always make the top 10 but are still worth considering for their unique qualities.
Been to Sydney, New York, Singapore, Tokyo, Tokyo being by no 1 favorite. Singapore is so small, not much to explore. Sydney is really fun, New York too noisy. Barcelona is on my bucket list!
Moscow and Saint Petersburg are the finest cities in the World. All other cities you named above are rubbish and bullshit and full of Radical Islamists and Illegal Immigrants, filthy, unsafe and very bad law and order situation.. The Moscow Metro Railway is the finest in the World. Moscow Capital region is a whopping 48000 square Kms , large enough to gobble up many of these cities together and a home to 25 Million People. The entire Moscow Capital Region is very clean, very well connected, with fantastic connectivity, and very safe and extremely good law and order situation.
@@JenHope118 Sydney is not boring, you can take the train all the way to the Blue Mountain National Park to see Koalas. The cable car ride to the zoo was amazing.
I recommend to visit Wroclaw in Poland 🇵🇱 its a very beautiful small City but a bit underrated… not so much Tourists ,and a very good nightlife ,restaurants and bars 👌
I agree with New York, Paris, Rome, and the rest are just thrown in for good measure. In the US, I really liked Washington and Chicago. But where are St. Petersburg and Moscow? What, Prague and Budapest aren't worthy either?
according to Wiki and Forbes this list is completely made up - in order they are , Vienna, Copenhagen, Zurich, Melbourne, Calgary, Geneva, Sydney , Vancouver, Osaka, Adelaide.
bueno,,,,,,ninguna de las dos fueron declaradas mejores ciudades para vivir del mundo en 2022 ni 2023 por forbes, si lo fueron Valencia y Malaga que ni salen en esta lista
Artistic cities like Vienna, Munich; cleanest and most healthy cities like Jurich; ancient cities with modern vibrance like Beijing, Shanghai; Most livable cities like Melbourne, Vancouver; most cycling and pedestrian friendly cities like Amsterdam were smiling at the corner. They eventually left the chat seeing the most stinky NYC made it and even almost topped it.
London, Paris, Singapore I agree with in the top 10, but none of the others. Moscow, St. Petersburg, Beijing, Shanghai and at least 10 other Chinese cities, Budapest, Vienna and Prague are all above 7 of the 10 on your list.
Yes, London's 'British Museum contains treasures from around the globe, including the Rosetta Stone and Egyptian mummies', otherwise known as the spoils of colonial expansion
A little bitchy of you. I'm sick of Britain's colonialism being always used when other nations are ignored. The Netherlands, Portugal, France, Spain, Austria, the Ottoman Empire. Off the top my head.
Thank you for remembering the city of São Paulo (Brazil), because the images that talk about Tokyo (9.00 to 9.04) are from the city of São Paulo. Visit São Paulo.
São Paulo, sure. Also, how could you leave out Buenos Aires, Argentina? It is one of the most beautiful and friendliest cities in the world, not to mention its culinary, diverse, and artistic aspects. How about Rio de Janeiro? It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world!
Sydney is very expensive city where housing and food are concerned like Zurich, Geneva, New York. Siena is gorgeous, so are Barcelona, Shanghai, Lucerne, Austria, etc. Singapore, Bangkok, etc.

You didn't state what were the criteria for this list! The safety of citisen is one of the top criterium, and I am not sure Paris and New York meet this one! It is how an American from 50 years ago imagine Europe!
New York has one of the highest crime rates in the world. But I think people still love to visit, all because of the hype, same with Paris in my opinion. I think France country sides are way more charming. US national parks and mountains are a lot more exciting than their big cities filled with homeless.
@@observer-2LC Agree. I like New York but its has got its problems to be on the top 10. We visited Paris, and of course it is nice but it is overrated and we were not that impressed. Sydney, Barcelona, London, Tokyo, Rome, Berlin likely belong here, as well as Vienna and others not mentioned such as Florence, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, etc.
Instead of Rome I would rather say Milan. You seem to prioritise modern and thriving cities. Milan is younger , has much more entrepreneurs and culture, new buildings and modern houses.
New York is fun if you are into Broadways and theatre, it's a real treat to see big name star like Hugh Jackman on the stage, other than that, NY is too noisy. More for young people for sure.
London is the best city in the world by far about almost everything!Who criticize London is because can t afford it!!😂😂it s very simple!!envy is a bad thing!!😂😂😂
I would have picked San Francisco before Vancouver, for the same reasons. They’re similar, but SF has a lot more going for it, in my opinion. San Francisco was voted world’s best city to live in for 2021, by a British lifestyle magazine’s poll.
@@JimmiAlli me too. I love Vancouver. All of these kinds of things are very subjective and depend on your own interests and personal tastes. I have been to every city on the list. As much as I have enjoyed Singapore, the weather rules it out as a place to live permanently. Even a friend who has lived there her entire life hates the weather and complains a lot! Some people just can’t take big bustling cities and their idea of hell would be New York or Tokyo for that reason. I don’t know if I could live in Sydney. It feels too isolated from the rest of the world and it takes hours and hours to get to anywhere from Australia. It felt like being on a big island in the middle of nowhere. That was my impression.
@ I agree with you about Singapore, I found the heat and humidity absolutely oppressive. I could never live there. I love Sydney for a visit. It’s a spectacular city but I normally get tired of it after a few days. Fortunately for me, Sydney is only an hour away, but it’s too far from most places. I haven’t been to all of the cities, but I really like NYC, London, Paris and Tokyo. All very pleasant. 😊
@@JimmiAlli there seems to be a real rivalry amongst Spaniards (and Catalans) about Madrid vs. Barcelona. I guess this video settled the matter by including both? For similar reasons, if I had to choose between Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires, I don’t know if I could pick one. Rio has more spectacular nature, for sure, but they both offer something entirely different and equally compelling culturally.
What's amusing about this video is that the people living in many of these cities can't get out fast enough and considering this is supposedly only months old it makes you wonder who in the hell writes and produces this garbage. Local tourism bureau's or the airline industry, both of which are presently hurting. The End.
Used to be Rio de Janeiro, St. Petersburg, Shangay, and Casablanca at least for the famous movie? Buenos Aires. Therefore, my list would look like this: 1. Rome, Istambul, Athena, Venice, Babilon; 2. London, New York, Berlin, Tokyo: 3. Los Angeles, Montevideo, Sydney, Vancouver, Perth: and so on until you make of every city worth visiting. Some like priests, and some like priest's wives.
