I've been searching for this double wave pattern (fors days) ever since I saw it used as the stitch pattern for a blanket kit in the Fall Herrschners catalog. Out of about a hundred RUclips channels and Googling crochet websites, I found you! Thank you for your tutorial.
I'm new to crochet and don't yet know how to read a printed pattern, this video is fantastic! Even a newbie like me can understand it, looking forward to making something with this stitch.
I have always wanted to learn this stitch. I am just getting back into crochet after 25 years. Thank you for this easy to follow along tutorial. I have found many of your tutorials very useful.
Beautiful pattern to make a blanket! :D Have you seen the Penelope blanket? It is an original blanket and beautiful for a baby www.lanasyovillos.com/en/home/penelope-blanket
Hello ....your work is so beautiful.....can tou please tell why did not tou start with colour black .....what if i start with chain and sc then going on to the main stitches...would it be right ..or could you please guide me .
I would like to start with the black row. What multiples of black should I use to get started? I don’t understand charts so would appreciate your help. I am excited to learn a new pattern. Thanks so much.
hi there, love this pattern, and you're a good instructor. One question, can I single crochet of the black yarn as foundation chain instead of going directly to the wave design..if i can do it ..how many multiple chain I have to make...thanks!
You are a very good instructor, however (and no offense meant) after reviewing your chart, I found it to be multiples of 12+10 not including the turning ch’s
pheonixphire Do you do tutorial videos? I would also like to see how it is done in the round, but I'm still kind of a beginner, and I don't think I can figure it out like you did.
sldunham1979 I no longer make videos, but there actually is one called the brain wave hat. She pretty much dose the same thing I am doing. Just do a search for the brain wave hat.
