Realistic situations aren't the best at supplying interesting game ideas, now are they? 8. In the Pokémon world, ten years olds are concidered as people in the legal age and going off to train Pokémons is . . . some kind of growing-up-ritual. Because that makes sense, yea? 9. Ever heard of friendly rivalry? Or sibling rivalry? Rivalry isn't always a bad thing, sometimes with people who share strong affection that's even normal! 10. And of course he can't remember the name of his own grandson as an excuse for you as the player to name him for your liking, besides people in real life as well can contain only as much in their heads. But they can escape again, and then disappear. Some Pokémons know moves such as Smoke Screen, Protect, Agility, Teleport et cetera. In Pokemon Gen. 2 you could find a trainer that is propably supposed to be the main character from Gen. 1. So if you take that as an argument then the correct name would be Red.
Ok hold on in the 4th gen pokemon game (diamond pearl and platinum) there is a library in the town at the bottom west(Canalave City). In that library there are books you can read that provide background to the pokemon world. In one of those books it said that WILD pokemon were jealous of pokemon with Trainers. Also ,past gen 1, there is a hidden meter, called happiness. Certain pokemon like Golbat and Pichu evolve once their happiness is full. One of the ways to increase their happiness is to have them participate in battles. So if you combine those two things it means that Pokemon want to have a trainer and that Pokemon want to participate in battles.

You do have a point Grade, BUT, inside the pokeball there could be an entire dimension for your pokemon to be in until it needs to fight.
I believe it’s been stated their’s a little room made for the Pokemon in the Pokeball.
This could just be a room that’s the same for every Pokemon, or a different room, like a bunch of clouds for Pidgeotto, or a back alley for Scrafty.
