As a fan of Grade and the Baited podcast, I can honestly say this looks like a desperate attempt to keep up a failing reputation.

Yeah, I used to be a Grade fan until all this keemstar shit. There are litteral videos of grade defending keemstar and then turning on him and dissing him for the same videos he defended him on

But then again, they used to be friends and Grade defended his "jokes" until it came to light that Keem was actually completely serious. There's a huge difference between making some jokes in good fun and actually being a dead-serious racist and making actual false accusations, and I can see why things turned around when Keems "comedy" channel didn't turn out to be so innocent. I wouldn't be surprised that Keem giving out peoples' personal information and getting his fans to hate on people had at least some involvement in breaking the friendship they had apart.
You always have to consider that Grade hasn't always known the full story, and when new information comes to light, things can change drastically.

Edit: I read the red text he has, so he will change the number eventually, and he will take calls during his free time. his phone will be off when he's not using it (dang he will have a lot of voicemails) and he will try to keep the conversation to a couple minutes.
In the States, you can buy a prepaid flip phone capable of receiving international calls for $20, set it up with a new number, and buy a month of unlimited talk and text for $30. I'd imagine the UK has plenty of similar services that can accommodate a temporary stunt such as this.
