Reaction channels are the ABSOLUTE fucking worst type of channel on RUclips and in this video, I will detail why.
... I mean I'm sure you're well aware why they're shit already, but it can be nice to hear it in a loud, British accent from time to time.
This video was kinda a Part 2 video to a video I've already made, so if you want, go watch that first.

What pisses me off even more is that the reaction channels that actually "react" get a lot of hate. In the comments, there are people like "stop talking!" And "stop pausing!". It's so stupid
Well,I mean if they bring up the same criticism TEN FREAKING TIMES then it gets a bit annoying.Also when they pause in the middle of a joke because then they miss the joke.However,it does make you want to watch the original so I don’t comment because what there doing is legal.

Some channels deserve that sort if criticism though. Blasphemous HD will often pause the video and go on 5 minute long rants or some possibly fake story that often has nothing to do with the video he's reacting to
I watch reaction videos that discuss points and thoughts throughout the video but when they are pausing every 5 seconds to point out every obvious detail it does get pretty annoying.
I don't know how these channels don't get copyright strikes.
It disgusts me.
AlxDTV in order for that to happen, the person who owns the content would have to file a copyright infringement. I imagine most of the people jinx takes from are not bothered enough or do not hear about the video to actually do anything about it. Minus GradeAUnderA whom after filing a copyright claim with jinx found that jinx had taken down the for “less than credible reasons” likely because Grade A was now receiving a substantial cut of monetized ad revenue from that video.
BlastphamousHD had to deal with that and his main channel and other videos deleted. He still does his videos (the reactions include videos paused several times due to laughter or talking, jokes that he says he'll edit out and never does, some videos including jokes against himself, occasionally playing the video again or not showing a video in its entirety), but he still adds his own charisma and personality into the video as oppose to some other reactors.
BHD should still get more copyright strikes,he needs them to make his channel killed off

whilst i agree with reaction channels being shit, i think its massively hypocritical for pewdiepie to bitch about people reacting to videos when his channel basically him reacting to games (just a different media, albeit more interactive)
+Daniel Moir Pewdiepie cannot, in any respectable way, be compared to Jinx; Pewdiepie's not stealing content. The "reacting to things" isn't really the issue, it's more the having unedited-uninterrupted videos belonging to other people in your videos, without permission.
And Pewdiepie's videos actually add value to the people who created the games he is seen playing, so his videos actually are promotion. I genuinely watched a few of his G-Mod Prop Hunt videos and that was my first introduction to Prop Hunt, and as a direct result of Pewdiepie's videos, I bought G-Mod on Steam. It looked so fun.
I genuinely don't see why Pewdiepie gets such a bad rap (wrap? I don't know how that's spelt). I saw a video where some random girls harassed him to look at some pictures they drew for him and be in their video etc and I've never seen anyone nicer than him towards fans. He is the biggest star on one of the world's most popular websites, he has money bursting out of his pockets and he's still humble-af. He could be inside his mansion snorting cocaine of hooker' bodies through the rolled up Magna Carta he bought with his RUclips cash, but instead he still takes the time to be cool to fans and he appreciates them. People might not like his videos, but I don't see how anyone can knock him as a person.

Dude, this is like a time capsule for me. I remember when the reaction thing was this huge bandwagon of copy-cats basically doing a less effort version of the fine bros and similar channels. Now Jinx has pretty much disappeared I believe (or at least disappeared from the spotlight of attention). In my opinion, I think a combination of bad press and people getting sick of it led to the the eventual downfall of these channels and Jinx. The Fine Bros and similar channels are still around but I don;t think they are as popular as they were before. It was just overload, at least for me and the videos were just terrible and poor quality for the copy-cats. I truly didn't even understand who the audience for those videos and Jinx were, kids maybe?

Then you go and see some reactions, and see how other people faired with the material. Its someones way to see what other people think about the video. Maybe people want to know how other people think of the video? Watch some reactions to see what results they get.

-They bring multiple people into their videos.
-They give facts and other trivia about the video that they're reacting to.
-They're able to make their videos 10 minutes long even when they have several people reacting to a video that exceeds 10 minutes.
-They actually say things constructive in their video (though sometimes people don't say the smartest of things)

THE MEEP QUEEN you can file a third party claim. This way, the reactor makes NO money off the video, and all of their revenue made off that vid goes to you. You could also file a claim that they're stealing your videos to give them a copyright strike, bringing them closer to having their account terminated.

It depends on how they make the video. If they are literally just putting the video in the corner and watching it unedited then yeah you can sue. On the other hand, if a channel like LeafyisHere or Blind Wave reacts to your video then it is under fair use because both of them edit videos so that they don't show everything, and they discuss and analyze the videos pretty in depth and with original thoughts, so Leafy and Blind Wave videos are called "commentaries." Leafy could also be classified under "satire."

Jinx literally gained 8000 subs in under two days, I actually checked yesterday and today - from 960 - 968K. That's just super shady...
+Kichael Mapman That's low for him lol. Go to the socialblade website and type his name in "his yourube name is "starsosilly" he grows like 5K a day. Back when he had 80K subs or something, he grew at 12K a day for 3 days, with no viral video getting him all these sudden subs lol.
For reference, Pewdiepie has 38M subs and he gets about 20K a day
Jinx had 80K subs and he was getting 12K subs a day.
So to have about 0.25% of Pewdiepie's subs, but be geting 60% of his growth... little suspicious to me.
But his fans say he makes good content and he's a cool dude, so the numbers must be lying Kichael.

Also, I would like to point out that when he's active which in my time (UK) is at night, he suddenly gains bursts of subscribers in the 3000-4000's. It just doesn't add up.

Whilst unrealistic growth speed is one to look for, also look for how many subscribers actually interact with his channel (comments etc.) compared to how many he has. Example, I saw a local band get 19k likes and a lot of people in the scene accused them for buying them. Being the digger that I am, I went... well... digging. Found that despite having 19k likes, they were getting 20-30 likes per post. I can't say for certain whether they did buy them, but lets have some common sense here lol.
