Hi Luke nice video and entertaining too. I worked in a vaccination center during the height of the Covid pandemic. As most of the airline pilots and crew could not fly, they worked in the vaccination center. I will always remember the pilots/crew as very nice people. During down time, we would talk and the pilots came forth as smart and professional people - but they could be funny as well haha.
Yes many are decent people. The ones I am talking about are far and few and they are of the older generation who lacked people skills. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Sad to hear that there are some pilots that are disgraceful also , knowing that they are educated well...well trained prim and proper it's just that i didn;t expect that there are stories like this and really happening in real life......I really enjoyed listening to your stories...fully watched..and no skipping of ads ...for my full support to you my friend..More blessings...

@singaporeanlivinginjapan4641 This would mean RUclips AI has a long way to go in terms of speech recognition. Even if the pronunciation is not clear or bad, it should be able to figure out the right word to use. That is, it should be intelligent enough to understand and interpret the context of a given situation. Here it is about planes, pilots and crew. Words associated with them are cabin, passengers and stewardess. Even "chip Kate" is meaningless.
Good morning from Singapore. I have a few SQ pilots living in my estate. I also worked with many in seniormanagement of flight crew when I was working there.
@@singaporeanlivinginjapan4641 The context is not about salary. If you think the context is only about salary, then the IFS should have the last choice of meal amongst the cabin crew because his earnings is more ….
@@singaporeanlivinginjapan4641 I think you failed to see the irony. It was indeed cheapskate of the IFS to lie to the captain regarding the unavailability of the lobster. To compromise one’s integrity over food is beyond cheapskate. Surely the stewardess can afford lobster anywhere. It’s about integrity and disrespect to the captain. By the way, I was a cabin crew.
Okay this I disagree. The first case. It’s Not about how much one earns. It’s about lying and hierarchy. The IFS lied. Stewardess has priority over pilot ? Granted the pilot was petty to ransack to look for the meal, but how disappointing that the senior cabin crew lied. The pilot may have been petty but lacking in integrity and showing preferential treatment is worse. The 2nd case , regarding disrespect. Do you know what happens to a junior cabin crew if the crew does not show respect or greet the senior cabin crew ? 😂
@@singaporeanlivinginjapan4641 In your narration of stories, it’s important to not be bias. The IFS was clearly showing preferential treatment and this is wrong. Lying is wrong. And, black & white, the Capt has a choice. The IFS was lucky the Capt did not report him to management.
U opined, claimed or suggested that LKY disliked pilots in Your other video. I would like to say that he had abused his power in the treatment of SIA pilots from the work to rule saga. Your dislike of pilots was obvious on most of your videos on SIA pilots. U had the audacity to back up your inflight supervisor’s lies to his captain that his entitled meal, his choice of the available first class lobster meal was reserved for a trainee (student) cabin crew who were not entitled to any first class food. U continued your rant that the captain demanded respect from the crew after such despicable lies. Which creature in the world can demand respect ? Why didn’t u just google what respect is ? criticism by your commenters against u You in some of your posts may b over bearing but u confessed that u disliked being criticised. Respectfully, didn’t u enjoy criticising others in your posts ?
I did mention that most pilots were decent and respectable people and pointed out the few bad apples in my videos. I am sorry you didn't like what I uploaded.
It is a form of corruption, and should be reported.

That's so cool you know so many SQ pilots
Nice story my friend , Thank you for sharing

Hey Hey Hey!!!LUKE Nice story my friend 👍🏽🤗
Thanks for watching and supporting Judy 😊
First case is 'tham chiak'
Second case is 'ego' I guess. Many types of people to put up in a working environment 😞
Ya lor these people created a bad working environment. The 2nd was sacked for molesting a stewardess.
In later years the second pilot in the story was sacked for molesting a stewardess
Ya...you used the right word....really cheap skate....
Earning 25k a month and then quarreled over food
