I've never questioned his heart and passion for the country and it's people. He was a good man who did what he could, with what we had, in a time of chaos and peril.
Hopefully our next president can be someone we can once again be proud of and respect. I have no respect for the man in the office now. A man with such lack of empathy and compassion for others should not be leading America.

9/11 was Bill Clinton's fault, its just that who ever is in office get's blamed for it. George bush only was in office for about 6 months at that time, and with in that time Bush was getting use to being in office. If you look at leading up to 9/11 you would find it out to being Clinton's fault. Bill Clinton missed the signs of 9/11. If the former president had authorized the assassination of Osama bin Laden thousands of Americans wouldn’t have died.
“We watched [bin Laden], we were watching him and reading about him making horrible statements about us, and thinking, I hope we take this guy out, and we didn’t take this guy out.” “And actually, Bill Clinton had their sights on him and then didn’t pull the trigger,” If they pulled the trigger you’d probably have the World Trade Center the way it used to be. And by the way, most importantly, with all the thousands of lives that have been lost and affected so gravely. So we have to be smart.”
Clinton has acknowledged that he had the opportunity to assassinate bin Laden in 1998, but he passed, saying that a strike targeting the eventual 9/11 mastermind would have resulted in the deaths of hundreds of innocent civilians.
“I nearly got him,” Clinton once told an Australian political leader. “And I could have killed him, but I would have to destroy a little town called Kandahar in Afghanistan and kill 300 innocent women and children, and then I would have been no better than him. And so I didn't do it."
In October, Trump infuriated many conservatives by blaming former President George W. Bush for the 9/11 attacks, which took place less than a year after Bush assumed the presidency.

I re-watched this. "John respected dignity that does not stop at borders, or the abuse of dictator...he could not abide abuse of power and swaggering despots" . If I had to vote for a republican...it would have been him, but he alone stood against Trump and his evil. We will remember you, John, and I hope one day we only remember that evil that you opposed as a example of how America should never be again. But...thats unlikely.

Thank you President Bush and President Obama for such beautiful eulogies honoring a great American hero. You made me proud to be an American as we mourn the passing of a great man. His sacrifice should remind us that we have become spoiled and complacent. Let’s each and everyone of us remember that out country already is great. Let’s, each of us, get involved to protect and defend decency, freedom of speech and all the freedoms and values that John McCain worked to protect and defend. Godspeed Mr. McCain.

Good job former Pres Bush. John McCain was an inspiration to many and in a true act of foresight orchestrated these speakers... Why does it take a great American patriot to pass for this country to get a shred of unity and bipartisanship? Those who follow the current POTUS w/o question, give it some thought... Then ask why? And where will it end? To the McCain's: our heart goes out to you, know that we, as the majority of the American public are behind you.

Fire-hose of Falsehood (google it), and you've been hosed... The overwhelming majority of mods, indies and dems don't follow anyone to the ends of the Earth. But I HAVE watched countless people on the right gearing up for actual war. See the last rally? See shirts saying "better to be Russian then a dem"? That is, by definition, w/o question.... I can keep going, but y, nothing I say will match your bubbles volume...
