Or the insurgents that blew themselves up taking Iraqi children with them? American forces don't target children or innocent civilians, did some die yes but not intentionally. And those who did target the innocent ones are evil.
Similar were the feelings for Saddam and his wife when Uday and Qusay (their sons) were killed by US forces. And the same would have been felt by Raghad, Rana and Hala (Saddam's daughters) when their father was hung. All of this due to George Bush's stupid and foolish decision to invade Iraq on the pretext of democracy, without thinking of the chaos that would follow. If you wish to say that Saddam was a killer, isn't George Bush one too ? Sending US troops to kill Uday and Qusay, and US soldiers raping young women and murdering entire families, how's that even justified ?
look up abeer qassim hamza al janabi she was gang raped at 14 and her parents were killed along with her. their two sons were left orphaned, all by united states marines who were found guilty thankfully in a US court. this would’ve never happened if it wasn’t for this man. now imagine being nine and having your entire family murdered how do you think those kids felt.

It's absolutely incredible...the way Bush 43 gave that speech. I remember hearing about his passing, and it was so sad. It's never easy seeing anyone go, but Bush 41 and his wife seriously held on for dear life...literally. But it was time, and they have both left a huge legacy. Hats off to Bush 43 for delivering such a moving eulogy, honoring a man that changed the country and the world. It takes a lot to go up and speak at a funeral, especially if you were really close.
I live in Kennebunk. I used to see President Bush around a lot. He and Barbara used to sneak away from his Secret Service escort in an old beaten up white Honda they borrowed from their housekeeper to go to the Kennebunk Inn or Boulongerie for lunch. A stupid neighborhood cat often lays down right in the middle if the street in the Summer when its hot. I watched one day from the top of my roof, where I was paining, as the Bushes drove down the street, stopped at the cat, which refused to move and then waited. The cat, still refusing to move and the Bushes, unwilling to beep their horn and disturb the quiet neighborhood, waited and waited and then President Bush got out of the car, scooped up the cat, petting him and calling him an " idiot cat" and placed the cat in the middle of a yard. Then they drove off. I heard Barbara say out the windiw, " make sure its safe, George" and he said, " yes dear". Its the stuff you do when you don't think anybody is watching that shows your character. I watched him pick up a lot if trash off the beaches in the morning too as he was out walking his dogs. God Speed Sir and rest well. I am going to miss you.
I live in North Carolina now, but lived in Kennebunkport - and then a nearby town, North Berwick - for 20 years. I remember him too. Like the time I was sitting on Parsons Beach, off-season and quiet - and all of a sudden, NOISE!! I looked up and it was President Bush, zooming close into the beach in his cigarette speedboat, buzzing the shore, then taking off again, with the poor Secret Service trying to keep up, just like his son spoke of here. He was definitely a Presence and a Force. But kind.

Like many others have said, I rarely cry at anything… but I cried because it served as a reminder that no matter your background, your career or your creed, we are still human. The sense of love and compassion in this speech is a bit overwhelming, but I commend George W. Bush for showing the world that despite everything that they’ve both witnessed in their lives, they clearly made so much time for each other and meant the world to one another. The charisma, humour and energy conveyed in this speech is like little else I’ve seen recently - the words we say don’t matter half as much as the way we convey them.
At least he lived long enough to watch his son take the same office he held

Iraqis lost children by the millions just saying by this man and his father.
@@asha4102 I kept my comment non political but now that you have opened this door. Are speaking of the Iraqi children that died by the orders of the Saddam regime? Or the insurgents that blew themselves up taking Iraqi children with them? American forces don't target children or innocent civilians, did some die yes but not intentionally. And those who did target the innocent ones are evil.
Losing any parent is a special grief. Even the ones who failed at their job.

I wasn't able to see my dad's burial, he passed away when I was 11.
I will literally lose it when I have to give my fathers eulogy someday
I gave my dads eulogy 6 years ago and it was very hard to do. Last Sept i gave my little brothers eulogy and it was the hardest thing that I have ever had to do. But I did them out of respect and to honor the good men they both were.
I had to give my grandmother's eulogy just two weeks ago and it was really tough to keep it together.
I did not have the PRIVILEGE of Giving the Eulogy to my Father, i was so young. What i remember is the love, norturing and absolute devotion he had shown to us. I hope when the day comes you'll be able to tell how great your father was.

I am going to miss you.
painting - sorry and Boulongerie is the local bakery.
Nice fake story bro
I live in North Carolina now, but lived in Kennebunkport - and then a nearby town, North Berwick - for 20 years. I remember him too. Like the time I was sitting on Parsons Beach, off-season and quiet - and all of a sudden, NOISE!! I looked up and it was President Bush, zooming close into the beach in his cigarette speedboat, buzzing the shore, then taking off again, with the poor Secret Service trying to keep up, just like his son spoke of here. He was definitely a Presence and a Force. But kind.
What a beautiful story. About his character. Ignore hater trolls who have no decency even at this somber celebration of a true American patriot.
