Amon Ra oh ya but at least saddam one of the best president of the Arab world is gone he literally thinks that he did something to help Iraq they could’ve lifted sanctions or something but nahhh then they say orange man bad
@Amon Ra Indeed there were obvious signs of chemical & biological weapons in Iraq. Even before 2003, the Osirak Nuclear Reactor was hit by Israelis in the 1980s. George HW Bush drove the Iraqi army out of Kuwait, not going into Baghdad. President Clinton has repeatedly ordered a cruise missile attack on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction facilities. Even before September 11th, US jets were doing sorties over Iraq territory. Obviously, it was a dangerous regime & Saddam had terrorist connections, this is an undeniable fact. Couldn't imagine an Iraq that entered the Arab Spring with Hussein. In addition, obvious evidence of chemical & biological weapons has been found in Iraq, contrary to what many people think. The lethal Ricin gas was found in the cave camp of the Ansar Al-Islam terrorist organization near the town of Sargat, close to Halabja city. Relatives of the city where Saddam killed his own civilians with lethal gas. If I'm not mistaken, in the first weeks of the 2003 invasion, this cave camp was captured after a few days of conflict with the local Peshmerga force and US Special forces team. Arabic documents, materials, NBC clothing, antidotes & traces of potassium chloride have been observed on how to make Ricin gas inside of the facility. The camp where Colin Powell projected satellite photos on the screen during his February presentation for UN. In addition, Ansar Al Islam began receiving funding & support from Al-Qaeda shortly after 9/11. The organization has ties with Zarqawi & Bin Laden & has been trained to fight like the PKK, like the Chechens on the mountain, as opposed to fighting in the desert with coalition forces in the open area. As is already known, the geography of Northern & Northeastern Iraq is very difficult & too high. Think about it, this is just one terrorist camp that has been detected. In my opinion, if the Grand National Assembly of Turkey to allow the Americans to enter Northern Iraq in 2003 it gave more to this series of operations camp was gaining momentum, fast action and would be able to do. But when the northern leg of the invasion was stillborn, time was lost, & perhaps the "not found" chemical & biological weapons + WMDs were either taken out of the country, or buried, or destroyed. This is clearly stated in the official Duelfer report, those who aren't lazy enough can read hundreds of pages if they want about missing WMDs. After the invasion, after taking the necessary intimidation, Gaddafi stopped advancing his own WMD program. In 2007, the nuclear reactor, which was developed with North Korean scientists in the Al-Khabar region of Syria, was wiped out by Israel in a secret air operation with abundant electronic mixing. In February of this year, the Turkish Armed Forces bombed the Syrian regime's Chemical Warfare facility near Aleppo with its F-16s while carrying out operations in Idlib area to secure its borders. In conclusion, Iraq, Syria, Iran, North Korea. All these regimes are on the axis of evil, regardless of the mistakes made in the wars, the important developments that took place. Their armies, men power must be destroyed & their country's territory must occupied by the armies of the civilized world. Their people must be liberated from these tyrannical governments. But who will replace them after their leader dies? This is a huge problem, of course, as in Saddam's example. Differences of religions, sects & races should be studied well if a Western country is to invade these countries. ..and especially if we're talking about the ME region. But it's very obvious that no matter how well planned, no matter how superior technology you have, no matter how many "freedom fighters" you have to use for proxy wars, this is a quagmire. There is no end in sight
@@gamerprecario That's a fallacy you dump, when he is criticized for his crimes, try to defend him instead of just saying "well what about 'x' ", he is a criminal, so is Saddam Hussein, and the doers of 9/11, the difference those were killed, this guy is being celebrated
One of the biggest differences between Bush and Trump is that Bush has a (self-deprecating) sense of humor and a thick skin. The media criticised and ridiculed him quite a bit, but he always took it in stride.
He wasn't at the time he was President. He was complaining about the media making fun of his 20 year old daughter. Now days the media is making fun of Trump's 10 year old son. Trump is really a troll, he uses the media's headlines and tactics against them. Not fan of either man, but Trump is way smarter than Bush, way.
Don't be so sure... Bush left the country in huge debt and started the failed War on Terrorism. He left the country in crisis and we are still recovering from it. You're also forgetting that the Republicans had a tighter grip on what Bush did/said than they have on Trump, plus Bush didn't have the platform(social media) that Trump has. Don't get it twisted, everything that Trump says and does is carefully planned with the intention of evoking public outrage. Bush was just pawn in the hands of his political party, and comes off as a genuine ditz. Trump is way smarter than people give him credit for(smart enough to be self made billionaire), that's why he won the election, not because half of the country are ''idiots''. And until people realize that our country will keep losing. The people who voted for Trump(or didn't vote at all) are not all idiots(it's actually pretty moronic to think like that). There are people who voted twice for Obama that ended up voting for Trump, because they felt let down by Obama's cabinet. TBH, i knew that we(by ''we'' i mean America) were losing the election when Hillary got nominated. For fuck's sakes, she was calling out Putin whenever the opportunity would arise. Don't get me wrong, we are all thinking those things about Putin, but what world leader runs their mouth like that? The answer is no one, the thought never leaves their mouth for a reason! No one smart wants a war with Russia...they have nukes, plus they hate us more than they hate their own president, so... There's nothing to gain from a war with Russia, only a lot to lose. Face it, we were forced to choose between two unfit candidates, and in the end it was America that lost.
Which one? xD Don't forget Bush and Trump were both born with silver spoons in their mouths. I'm a simple man, a million will do nicely...if only my daddy was rich lol

And I'm sad that the fun loving human sitting here was also the person who did so much harm to the States. I at least understand WHY people voted for him though. Up here in Canada, we didn't learn much about who he was. Just what he did and how it would effect us. But one thing I always, ALWAYS said about him, because it was so clear from his legislation is no matter how many issues he has with public speaking...he is clever as hell. He is SMART, and it's VERY stupid to underestimate him. I'm glad though that he's using his time out of office to raise money for the vets he created. That is seriously something. I would hope that this goes further, that he really gets a fire under his ass and starts working even harder for those vets - because the worse things get for everyone, vets are going to be in an even more terrible position.

One of the biggest differences between Bush and Trump is that Bush has a (self-deprecating) sense of humor and a thick skin. The media criticised and ridiculed him quite a bit, but he always took it in stride.
None of this was obvious at the time.

You may don't know but bush actually saved millions of lives all around the world with greatest achievement so far (pepfar)
Bush's PEPFAR has saved over 17 million lives.
He helped other countries to defeat disease's ike HIV/AIDS and Malaria
Bush's tax cuts had very positive impact that even obama continued his supply chian economics
He didn't wrote a single speech in his life bcz of his disability
@@classicalliberal4220 nice
He also stated 2 wars with no purpose and lies about winning the wars
Really good guy indeed
@@aj69needshelp91 I’m curious, why would you watch a show featuring a guest that you despise? And what were you expecting on a talk show led by a comedian?

I'm fine with the show I hate this "celebrity" war crimminal thst tge brought for this episode
top definition of "George W. Bush" on urban dictionary:
One of the best stand-up comedians ever who accidentally ended up in politics.
Family pressure made him enter politics. If he did enter the entertainment industry he would be a great hit
He’s seriously the funniest man. When he dodged that shoe…..priceless
weird moment when your ex doesn't seem so bad..
Councilman Les Wynan u r
that's his point
@Councilman Les Wynan as if you give a damn about those people... I pretty sure you were like most Trumpsters all for the killing of those people until Bush spoke out against Trump...
Tell that to the million Iraqis that passed away because of this criminal.
@Jeffrey F
'Hindsight"? The UN under Hans Blix who investigated the case in Iraq concluded that Iraq destroyed their WMD.. he lied like Americans do often to start a new cruel war.
Man I’m not republican but I miss this guy so much. I’d happily have a 3rd bush term over a 2nd trump term.
Look at Dudya now, people appreciates his humor. Trump will never ever get a ‘old presidents’ appreciation day’
I think your wrong about that lol
@@xslonk that would definitely be interesting
Never!! And if you ask me we should add an extra Halloween to the calendar. The regular one and the one that observes Trumps presidency.
Say what you want about him as a president but as a person, it’s hard not to like George W. Seems like someone you’d want to watch a game with.
The dead of Afghanistan & Iraq ain’t laughing.
There’s the guy you’d “like to have a beer with.”
I agree he seems to be the kind of guy who is good at being a person
I would love to have a 🍻 with him.
shame he doesnt drink
That’s a big reason people like myself love G W Bush. The critics tore him apart for the his mispronunciations of words and the quirky looks he’d give. The man is anything but stupid. Acting imo he was so brilliant that he convinced half the US that he was an idiot. After having two stuck up, pompous Presidents follow W, people are appreciating his sense of humor more finally.
EDIT: In response to Richard Espinoza - I’m a republican and I was very much against going into Iraq. It’s your precious Obama who ramped up our presence in the Middle East, further destabilizing the region. Bush left in two countries. Which is terrible. Obama, the crusader for democracy that the press made him out to be, left office with our military in six middle eastern nations.
@??? Just curious-why would you watch a show featuring a guest that you despise?
"Who did the best impression of you?"
"A guy who is now dead."
Brian Holden #savage

iKR? I Caught that also..lol
Brian Holden 😂😂😂😂
magesticmaniacc yea it is cool deal with it kid
Jimmy Kimmel Live, cool content keep it up dude
Haven't seen this before. GWB, relaxed, funny and
self-deprecating. Loved it.
STill a war criminal.
@Crazy Canuck still a war criminal
Still killed millions of civilians and caused one of the most wars with the consequence of creating even more terrorists !
back when a republican president could go on liberal news, and they could have honest conversation and joke about things without offending anyone. try that in 2020
This was only three years ago
Ur white arent u
No kidding!
1. This is from 2017, Trumps second year in office. 2. This is a talk show, not a news show.
SJ B this was 3 years ago pal
This guy is very likable.
Barta Bhaus yeah he his this was actually one of the funniest interviews I've seen on Kimmel
Only in murica. Rest of world knows him as a warcriminal
From a UK guy born 1993. This man was president in my formative years. I have yet to see a man with more compassion; enthusiasm and genuine love for his country. Mistakes and gaffes were made, but this man will eventually go down as one of the top 10 presidents you have had. Obvious mistakes were made and 9/11 was missed, yet the war against terrorism was formed by GBW and supported by us. We will continue to support our US allies. Best, Mark x
This interview is pure gold.
Somehow I just can't see Trump doing this post-presidency
That’s cause he won’t once/if he loses the election. He’s too prideful
dont worry we will find out in 4 weeks when he loses
doubt, hella trump shows finna start
trump would be first president to defect to Russia or flee to a country that doesn't have Extradition treaty with USA.
He will be doing this in Fox.
This is the most I’ve ever seen someone laugh at Jimmy Kimmel.
Bush is his target demographic
@@zackerykramer5524 Spot on lmao
Jimmy Kimmel won my heart with this interview. I did not vote for Bush, and clearly he and Jimmy are on opposite sides of the political aisle. But I admire his treating Bush with courtesy and respect, as well as drawing out the former President’s sense of humor
Thank you to our vets. War is a horrible thing and we can only ask our brave soldiers to go for the most important and honorable purposes. Your service ensures or freedoms and safety. We can never thank you enough!
Sometimes, I go back to this interview just to get a good laugh. I even bought the art book just for the heck of it.

Omar Badr that took a turn
Thanks for a charming and very funny interview with w. They both really got along. His paintings went for a good cause and it was very nice to see the veterans in the audience.
I just watched a ton of Trump rally interviews to the point my brain was rotting, so seeing this was soooooo refreshing and reminded myself again that not all republicans are like Trump supporters. I actually really like Bush and the fact he and his wife are friends with the Obamas
Love him or hate him he’s one of the few presidents that can poke fun at himself
Obama could make fun of himself. Happily came on Kimmel to read some mean tweets about himself. "That's pretty good" he said to at least one of them.
Pretty sure he's not the only one, by a long shot. Just that the bar's gotten so low lately, even basic joke-taking ability has become a luxury...
@@hazukichanx408 he said one of the few, not the only one.
@Michael - And I said "not the only one, _by a long shot."_
Unless you want to say Bush and Obama were the few, and nobody else had the ability. Considering most presidents are also people, I find it unlikely that only a few did. So my overall point was, "pretty sure a significant portion of them could do that, at least in the right circumstances". And what better circumstances than a talk show host eagerly kissing your ass while helping to wipe your hands clean of the blood of half a million innocents? ^^
I Insult the prophet Same goes for Christianity, too.
@I Insult the prophet It's a Christian country that invades other countries and kills people from other countries for decades so from the viewpoint of the rest of the world this Christian country is definitely very dangerous.
There are other atrocities, too. A horrible religion like Islam, or genocides in Africa. But this is no contest. You can't excuse Bush's war crimes with other crimes.
Wow, he's a really likable guy. I really liked this interview. I don't agree with everything he did, but at least he worked hard for our country. And that art stuff is actually impressive. Love that the proceeds go to the vets. I LOVE that he laughs at himself.
Do you think being responsible for the deaths of 650000 Iraqi civilians is excusable behaviour? Is that just a «difference in opinion»?
Terrell
9/11 happened under his watch. No matter if it was planned or not, it could have been prevented.
@@joakimdavidsen9835 I think I am uninformed. I am sorry. I didn't mean to offend you or to insinuate that something horrible he did is okay.
@@joakimdavidsen9835 Most of those Iraqis were killed by other Arabs. The Americans stayed there to bring stability, not foster it.
