I've started looking for some new adventure gear and as a vegan I'm only buying gear that is cruelty free. This video appeared in my google search. Thank you for making a modern/quality and ethical products. You have a new customer.

Leather degrades after repeated exposure to road grime as well.. leather doesn’t last. Your materials DO maintain dependable, and consistent performance. Water logged leather cracks when frozen, takes ages to dry, and just simply doesn’t last as long. Great gear Guys keep up the work.

I've thought of a solution to that. Leather with velcro backing (hook side) attached to loop-side velcro patches on the impact zones (elbows, shoulders and knees). Think of MotoGP race suits which add replaceable sliders/pucks (elbows and knees usually). These leather reinforcements would also be removable for washing and if damaged sufficiently in a crash. They'd also give much greater longevity to textiles which are generally "one and done" after any hot date with tarmac.
Of course, no manufacturer will want to do that because they probably want the textile to be replaced after a crash to sell another. Also TPU/PU caps could be done this way to increase the crashworthiness and repeat performance of textiles. I've seen a few of these sewn as inlays or sewn as overlays. They'll be considerably more impact abrasion resistant than any textile. Almost as good as race grade cowhide.

Are you still using the Hypalon fabric for the inner knee area or have you replaced it with something that is toxic free?

Hi there, in our recently Lineman trousers we use our own weave of Bi-Stretch Panama fabric
      Thanks

@@adventurespec Thank you for the response, but I am asking about the Hypalon (DuPont material you were using instead of leather in the inner knee area) that has a tendency to emit the toxic fumes when in contact with a heat source
