Lefty here. Harley Benton provided me an "in" to a big variety of affordable guitars . I've bought the HB35Plus, the TE-20, the DC580, the JA60 and, finally, a SC450GT. These guitars let me find out what guitars I really like for about $1K CAD. Now that shipping has gone nuts, they simply aren't worth the extra money to get one.
Harley Benton is coming out with some really nice guitars and especially with their styling and beautiful design. I really like some of the ones where they are using epoxy and blending colors and this one with the flame maple top. I know that the looks of a guitar isn't the most important aspect of a guitar but me being an artist it is.
Thanks for posting! I’ve been interested in HB but leery about the extra import fees into Canada driving the cost up. Plus I always prefer to try before I buy. One of these days tho I’ll roll the dice. I’ve seen a few HBs starting to pop up used at Long &Mcquade and the ones I’ve seen were good.
you have to be my brother from another Canadian mother!!! we're both overly fascinated with anything blue (I blame my lightsaber and my Tron collection on that) and you're obviously a Be-attle fan, too! I've always thought you looked amazingly like Sam Witer, voice actor of Darth Maul in Clone Wars (and Solo) and Star Killer in the Force Unleased games! either you should kidnap him and replace him at a convention OR form a tribute band and call it Witwermania!
HB have been making some great guitars for the money... but, we 'Mericans will have to start smuggling then over the border soon to keep them costs down! About $450 shipped to the US... still a good deal! Get them while you can, I guess? 😂😅😮😎🤘🎸
I bought a HB '64 "reissue" model Tele for about $140. In blind sound test it was 50/50 against a $750 squire 50s classic vibe. Cost $60 for only shipping to U.S./Nashville & got it in 2 days!!! $220 & got far superior product, straight out the box! No reason to ever go back to Fender or any name brand when they can just push a button, 3-D print a body, then assemble & add QUALITY guts & bolts. If spent another $100 or 2 would EASILY rival $1,500 American mades!!! Fuk a name! You wanna pay hundreds for a Fender or SQUIRE😅 logo on sht, more power to a mofo! The 3-D printing AFFORDABLE QUALITY GUITAR revolution has begun!!!! Hope you get chance to get one, friend! 🤘🌎❤️
If you do not like the Harley Benton name then you should have a campaign to change it. You seem to like Les Paul as a name so how about using his real name Lester William Polfus or even L.W. Polfus. Or you like Fender so why not Mudguard for the new name.

Beautiful guitar. I like that it’s a sweet 7 1/4 pounds and makes nice sounding tones even through my Bluetooth headphones.
