- In this video, I show in detail how to do a complete tune-up on your Chevy or GMC vehicle. The vehicle in this video is a 2007 Chevy Suburban with 6.0L engine. I normally add links to the parts in the decription box however, those links eventually ends up not working. For parts information, please ask.

This is the only video that really focuses on spark plung No. 8. Applaud for showing the hardest part.
Thank you Oscar and thanks for watching!
Hardest plug I ever pulled off in my life this is why I love my lil Acura integra
@@fabianfierro5406NorthStar V8's are no joke either. You have to remove the rear engine mount, then use a come-a-long to winch the engine forward. 😂
My mechanic just quoted $300 for this exact same procedure on my '02 Tahoe. Your video shows me that I can probably do it myself.
You absolutley can do it yourself. This vidoe shows all the necessary steps. Thank you for watching.
I need to comment again. Your video is the best. Removing the wheel mud cover was a brilliant idea. Not only it makes it easier safer it's faster than trying to reach from top at the passenger side. I even removed the heat shield that was blocking spark plug #8 and got to it with no issues at all. I am going to watch your other repair videos.
Thank you SO much Oscar for the acknowledgment. I REALLY appreciate you taking time to watch my content.
Can’t believe this video is 2yrs old this is the first video I watched when I got my Yukon Denali xl this brings back memories
Quick tip about #8 if you want to avoid taking off wheel. A 3/4 shallow socket fits around a Autozone spark plug socket. It literally took me 5 minutes to remove and install new spark plug. Taking off wheel should be your last resort.
Thank you! This is the best instructional video I could hope for. I have total confidence I can do this now!
You absolutely can do it. Thank you so much for watching.
Man, thanks for the great video. I’m all set now and Yukon running like a champ!
That's awesome! Thanks for watching.

Always double check the spark plugs gap you never know if someone had a bad day, you don’t want to end up paying for it. Great video thank you for sharing your work

What happens if a plug is not properly gapped?
@@fabianfierro5406tbh nothing as long as it’s not too crazy you can eye ball compare them to eachother to make sure.. they don’t have to be perfect it’s still gone spark

Best to do it yourself if you can. I’ve seen some repair shops not even bother doing #8 and just leaving it

Great video. Thank you for the tip about removing the wheel and the well liner.
I just did this job this morning, and even plug #8 was minimal drama. I heard so much about how difficult plug 8 was, with people giving up, etc. This video made it easy. Nice work!
Thank you very Much Jessie. And thanks for watching!
I was gonna use a step ladder...and lay on the engine... 1.5" extension... Attach by hand and then rachet later
Fantastic video!! I am about to do the same thing to my 08 Yukon Denali. I have 93K on it and want to get this done. The wheel well method is brilliant! Thank you for the tip. I did have an idea while watching this. I think I will connect the coil side of the plug wire before installing the coil. At least that side will be done and then I will only need to connect the plug side. Thanks again for great content. I have subscribed. Keep up the good work!!!

Great video! Wanted to let those that are without a jack, or stands, that I was able to get to #8 from underneath on a creeper. I used an impact wrench a u-joint socket and a few extensions from up to top "pop," it loose. Too tight of an angle to get the u-joints to really loosen it a whole lots. So I got on a creeper and could get to it from underneath. I used a combination of 2 u-joints (one at the socket, and one at the wrench), and probably 26" of extensions 1 long and a couple smaller to allow flexibility. There are 2 angles you'll get it from. Just takes a little persistence and choice words.
Thank you SO much for sharing that info. I'm pretty sure someone will find it helpful. Thank you very much for watching.
Great video Terrence! I just bought a 2012 Silverado 1500 LT the first of the month -- I don't have any maintenance records on it -- it has 120K miles and I want to do what you did here to get a record started on the truck -- it is a very clean truck and I want to keep it well maintained.
This will be a great start and you'll have your own maintenance records from there on out. Thanks for watching!
Great thank mannnn

Sorry if i missed it, but did you say what was causing your lean codes? I have a lean code on my '01 5.3 but i think its an intake gasket. Great video!
I did have a vacuum leak at the PCV valve but I eventually had to replace the intake gasket (video on the channel). That's what was causing my lean codes. Thank you SO much for watching.
I have a 2000 Chevy suburban and for adelco wires. The original wires aren't numbered so how do I know which wire goes where?
I hope you haven't removed them already. I know where they go by hard but in your case, change out one at a time. That's the easiest way for you. Thanks for watching.
I have googled my truck over and over and get mixed answers. For a 2011 silverado 5.3 lt vin 3 , for coil packs i get a mixture of the square or the round ones…
Round is whats on the vehicle currently (not sure if original). One of them broke off into the ignition wire.. so it needs replaced.
Are the squares the correct part? Acdelco D510C
Or round delphi gm 12573190 that i just pulled off.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Spark plugs pulled out were ac delco 41-110 and google said to replace with ac delco 41-162…
If your truck has the round coils, that's indeed what it takes. The square ones will not work. Here is a link to the parts...

HEY, "MAN HANDS" (you know who you are.....READ THIS before you say "HOLD MY BEER!" If you're thinking, "Man, I can do it without taking the tire off and just get at them through the top." Yep! You sure can! BUT, if ANY of your plastic heater hose quick connect parts are old and brittle, you're about to spend another $160 on replacement quick connect parts (that are a PITA to get off), coolant, and that coolant temp sensor and pigtail clip you broke too. LOL! So again, YES, you may save some time initially with the plugs and wires...but your "MAN HANDS" done cost you precious beer money and football watching time. Learn from my mistake... or... Do you! GREAT VIDEO BTW!
