    Average Matt ratings

  • @luckyspurs

I feel like the fan vote is taking qualifying more into account than Matt & Tommy.

  • @arandommiracle1870

small suggestion: at the end get an ordered list of the fan rankings along with matt and tommy's

  • @pionelpessi1022

    Jeremy Clarkson

Perez is so hard to grade because of the situation he's in. On one hand he's over 20 seconds away from his teammate; on the other hand his teammate is Max Verstappen lol He also does exactly what's expected of him from the team and that's get second place, help Max if needed and get a win if for whatever reason Max can't finish the race. I think an 8 was a fair grade.

  • @20DYNAMITE06

Perez didn't really need to close the gap to Max after he pulled the 2nd. He needed to manage his soft tires for a long stint and beat Carlos. Could he have closed the gap? Maybe? Probably not- but I don't think he was trying to do that either.

  • @413TomaccoRoad

K Mag actually kept the VCARBS behind him. I didn't expect that.

  • @rickgal5597

If you take a closer look at the turn 1 incident with Hulkenberg and Stroll you can see that Bottas gives Hulkenberg a little push with his car before Hulkenberg launches into Stroll. So Bottas is partly to blame and Hulkenberg less.

  • @JustSmurfinAround

Would be cool if the fan vote survey allowed people to put in a reason, then you could randomly pick some fan reasons for the majority score.

  • @purple4395

Actually I have to give you 2 massive props. This is one of the first drive ratings that isn't influenced to much by their cars. Giving good points for back markers that had a great race was rare and you often gave the worst of the top 4 teams still pretty good rates even if they were abysmal, just because they still finished 8-10th

  • @LB96nolefan

Bottas did bump Hulk going into that corner, I think that should’ve been considered in your assessment of him “causing” the crash. He did decide to put himself there, but I don’t think he’s solely to blame. I’d give him a 8 for his quali performance and a 4 for race, that would avg out to 6.

Ready for the Perez downplay…… and I was Right, my boy was also struggling with mechanical issues, still managed to gain 3 positions, kept Sainz behind taking care of those soft tires, solid 9

  • @firamon1992

Perez was having car problems, although out the race. The issue is that the broadcast never shows these things. Most of us don't review the radio calls. He had brake problems, an oil leak and his race engineer was not talking to him when sainz was behind him.

My two favorite drivers of the day were not the two best drivers, but drivers that weren't known in the past for stellar tire management: Zhou and Stroll. Both had similar tire strategy and completed more than half the race on their last set - 29 laps for Zhou and 30 laps for Stroll. That's an impressive feat despite cars that aren't amazing.

  • @michael14561

Can you average the fan vote rather than the most popular?

  • @Jack-dn1lz

updated pictures yesss...hope u guys use race pictures more often this season

  • @HarambeTopG

Finally, couldn't have explained the Checo situation better myself, Checo is doing 100% of what he has been hired to do, people expect him to fight Max, but I'm pretty sure RB would never allow a Rosberg V Hamilton type situation.
