Hello Arttea. I really like your style of delivery, theatrics included. Hearing you pronounce Bugloss four different ways in about a minute was great. The way you swear, even, is natural and well placed for emphasis. I also note that you poke fun at yourself sometimes which I am guessing takes a lot of confidence to do.
Hey gamers - sorry for the audio quality; this video was actually recorded quite a while ago, so I've gotten a better hang of things as far as recording my own voice goes since then. This video primarily points out the kinds of mistakes that I've seen more novice traders make. I'd love to eventually make a follow-up to this video that details the mistakes that trading *veterans* make, myself included! /facepalm Hope you guys enjoy this one! ❤️ EDIT: oh, yeah, and join our discord server! discord.gg/tamrieltradesecrets
@@1Mushu1 Yes haha I even added in text that they have since lowered in price - point being, they're worth sooo much more than your average 500g Greenshade map ;p
Hi Arttea. Would love for you to make a video on how you went about improving the sound quality. Btw, I had no problem at all with the sound quality of this one. So obviously I do not have much expertise in this field and desperately need guidance.
@@velkanzi That sounds like a neat idea! I do plan on launching a Patreon soon where I think I will post more personal content, especially content that discusses my video creating process, for those interested - so I can definitely talk in more detail about that there! But just as a quick rundown, the mic that I use is very sensitive - it is ideal for ASMR (which has actually been very annoying since it will pick up every little thing, making it so that I have to do a lot of editing to cut out random background noises, or breaths and mouth noises -ew, I know haha- that I make). Because my mic is so sensitive, I really have to nail my positioning of it. I take several practice-takes before I go ahead and record an entire video and play them over to check the sound quality until I find that sweetspot. Then I record. The issue with this video is that I was recording in a room that has more echo than my usual recording room (since I was away from my apartment at the time) and I was inconsistent with the placement of my microphone.
Despite being relatively uninterested in the trade side of the game, you are quickly becoming one of my favorite ESO content creators. You have a splendid assortment of delivery mechanisms that tickle my interests in numerous ways. High level education to help a fellow soul, witty banter and saucy shit post memes, quick and qwippy edits that don't detract from your content, intellectual discourse and verbose articulation. You have a stacked deck of the good stuff. Keep up the great work and thanks for the enlightening information and enjoyable ride.
I don't get the people complaining about your "theatrics" when every other eso content creator feels like some boring old crusty professor lecturing you to death for an hour. At least there's some personality in your vids and you don't ham it up so I don't see the problem.
I totally get how I may not be someone's "cup of tea" you know? That's completely fair. The same way those professor lectures may not be someone else's cup of tea - but for the same person to constantly trash me for how I decide to create my content? That's kinda silly, and I had to goof on it ;p
Not even a "boring old crusty professor"; at least Arttea talks in an understandable, clear, distinct manner, without munching her words as if it were a "how many words can you utter per second" competition. With some awful electro music in the background.
Pointless theatrics is one of the main reasons I watch you! I even chose to forgo my 2 event tickets yesterday because I was too tired and cbf but am willing to sit through your theatrics 😆
Your videos are super helpful. I still feel very naive when it comes to trading on ESO but I learn something new every time I watch one of your videos. Thank you.
Honestly, me and the GF just started playing eso like a week ago and we are thinking about getting into crafting and Trading and these videos have been a god send. Love the content and the editing. Sub and like. Thanks.

I'm still very new, I don't understand mostly of the content of the video, but I'm amazed at the beauty of your character and fashion, could you be so kind to share your sliders and your favorite wardrobes pieces? Thank you!
Informative and fun as always! Never change. I had flashbacks to complaining to a friend about how hard it was to find some square rune or other on a guild trader for a decent price and them saying, "You know you can buy it from the vendor, right? Right?" Yeah, that was me, and I remembered that lesson very firmly. Now if I have a stack of vendor something to get rid of I make a point of listing it for _under_ vendor cost so someone has a decent reason to trot to my trader rather than a vendor. You make a good point about upgrading good items to purples -- I tend to be lazy about doing it because I don't mind if a flipper buys it and improves it and makes some more margin off it, I just want it out of my bags, but that extra step would be a good habit to get into.

I only found your channel yesterday and I really love the theatrical/fun themes to all your videos. The little skits are so enjoyable! I'm excited to see more of your vids in the future.
Haha thank you! I know what you mean - when I first started playing ESO and had to consult guides myself, I was very easily bored with how the information was presented to me. So now that it's my turn on the hot seat, and I'M the one creating the content, I aim to create videos that someone like me would have wanted to watch way back when. :) Happy to hear that you enjoy them! ^_^
@@Arttea Yeah, I started playing in 2014 and the guides I kept finding were so bland and boring that they never kept my attention for long. Because of that it took me forever to actually start trading. Even as a returning player (who admittedly has kinda forgotten a lot of the things they learned) I'm so glad to have found your guides! They're awesome ^u^
While at first I liked that your videos went straight to the point so that I could watch on my second monitor while I'm mindlessly scrying all over Tamriel, I also enjoy your pointless theatrics very much for when I'm in queue and I'm too afraid to fake tank Beautiful outro btw, please keep it forever
I've been scared to make the wrong moves. I found my first painting and thanks to you I haven't just sold it. I'm also hoarding maps at Moon Sugar. I really appreciate your content in helping me learn. I'm on Stadia and watching those moded bros hurt my eyes. The stats on everything during combat is a little much. Thanks for the unmoded gameplay. Last thing I found was an ancestral orc bow motif. I probably would have learned it if not for you
One mistake I see pretty often is underpricing luxury furnishings. Waiting a few months and flipping a luxury furnisher item for 2 or 3 times the original price is common, but every time I go through my pile of flips, I find at least one or two items that are priced only slightly more than the original price. Sometimes they're listed for less than the original price. It's wild because that price tag is only a google search away. There are several websites that list all the furniture in the game, where to find it, and how much it costs if it can be bought for gold.
Thank you very informative video!! 🤣 I do one thing you said not to and that's flip plants and as it happens pieces from Clockwork. I started by selling off my extras from builds so I wouldn't have to store them I now buy for 2 players on request and sell slightly higher.. what am I buying? DLC zone plants, because neither player has those zones or DLC's.. 🤣🤣 at the beginning of the free Plus week, I emailed both and told them to go stock up! But that I'd also be happy to buy what they want later.
LMAO, great job. The funniest thing is, no matter how much I listen to your advice, or how much I pay attention in your guild channels on Discord, I still make the same stupid f@*king mistakes over and over again. Maybe it's me....lol. Well on your way to 10k subs. Nice job 👏
Haha don't worry, shit happens! I made a mistake the other day where I forgot to add a "0" when I was listing an item on the traders and sure enough, it sold instantly ;p Happens to the best of us! And yes, we are almost there!!
Amazing cinematics and memes on which I laugh or smile everytime I watch any of your vids. Don't care that much about trading but just like your vids style so I watch them anyway :) Getting op trading info as well tbh 👀
Another great video! Your wry sense of humor is *chef's kiss*. The dislikes are from those disappointed in the quality of the feet pics at the end, I'm sure.
Cabaret, comedy or theatre nothing is off limits. The only thing that matters when making a harmless joke is getting a laugh out of it and it was funny. If people attach political meaning some harmless fun, well that's on them. Your content is fantastic I'm not a huge trader in ESO.. I'm one of those end gamers that trades a ton when I'm low on funds then don't trade for weeks but if there's a new Arttea video I get myself a coffe and its time for a break from work : p
First and for most love your content! I couldn’t be happier that I randomly stumbled across your channel, your videos are the perfect blend of funny and informative. Second what is the name of the outfit / motif style you’re wearing in the beginning of the video (white/gold one)? I’m obsessed with it and haven’t had any luck tracking it down.
Thank you! And my character is wearing the "Thrafey Debutant Gown" - if you collect 50 fragments from the SIlent Halls public dungeon in Blackwood you can create it! (Or, you can purchase the fragments, like I did ) For more info: eso.mmo-fashion.com/thrafey-debutant-gown/
I can’t believe that after 6 years playing this game I recently found you. “I stumble over my words worse than joe Biden stumbled on the stairs of Air Force one” I definitely spit my drink out! New sub!
If you are using TTC and master merchant an thingk you see a deal, make sure to check the ratio of listings to sales. If there 1000 listed over a 30 day period and 20 sold, there is a good chance that is not gonna sell for you.
One thing I would add, is listing jewelry for sale. With few exceptions, you're better off to decon them for mats. Just as you mentioned to check items for their style before vendoring them because deconing the item might yield an expensive style token, the same holds true with jewelry. The mats are worth more gold than the sales price you'll get from selling rings and necklaces. Again, Mother's Sorrow and a few other sets are the exception. But, those exceptions are very few. On PC/NA (currently) Purple grains sell for about 7k. You'll usually get a grain when you decon a piece of jewelry - not always, but enough. Buying purple rings selling for 5k or less and melting them for mats makes coin. The same holds true for blue and green jewelry.
A mistake I happend to do a few times is being not patient enough - bought sth for underprice just to find it dirt cheap on the next trader! (not for flipping of course)
Recently got into this game on series x I trade items to new players that often offer up 4-5k for a green tier weapon although I say it not worth all that much they don't care and just want better items
I am super late to this comment section but I have to warn about 2 selling mistakes because I have lost 1,000,000 s doing it 😂😂 not paying attention. You have a pandonean axe style page and are going to sell it for 290,000 gold only, whoops. You were in a rush and somehow didnt hit the 0 button hard enough and posted it for 2900. Or, you have sold something hella cheap or sold something during one of your not hitting 0 hard enough times and the price automatically fills in from your last sale at super cheap. Annnnd now you have listed a valuable item at gold tier pricing 😅 moral of the story: ALWAYS go back and double check your listing prices when you are done putting your shit up for sale. ❤
Helpful tip for xbox players, items are generally about 1/3 the PC price at guild traders. There are exceptions, but I'd bet most items are about that. This is going off in game prices, and the tamriel trade center bot on discord, comparing the prices.
Ornate armor can be handed kn as a daily in clockwork city. Real fast and easy daily to do, although i do agree that ornate weapons arent worth selling some people doing ornate armor quest might buy for 500-1k gold per piece
I deconstructed every item I had no use of (except ornate ones) until I reached crafting lv 50. Since then, I'm using 'Mark as Junk' a lot, unless it has a researchable trait or I think it has a chance of selling well at the guild trader (purple or gold, always checking TTC). 'Selling all junk' sometimes gets thousands of gold at a time in a quick and easy way. Deconstructing junk for materials seems to be highly inefficient, I'd rather rely only on surveys for bulk harvesting and crafting.
Ah, I suggest that you watch my video on deconstructing items for gold - it is an incredibly simple and highly rewarding endeavor on this game that will earn you so much more gold than merely selling things to the merchant will. But to each their own!
My deliberate mistake is always selling everything too cheap so that it sells quickly. I check the prices which takes a while on console but then I always go at the bottom of the range or lower. Also I have just become lazy and decon most armor or weapons I find. And my stalls are never full. It just takes so much time up. Oooh so many mistakes 😬
Being a long time pvper youhave convinced to go pve and end game. 😅 i love your video on tips as well thank you. As a pvp person trust me everything you said we mostly didnt know or care to think about.ive spent millions in gold for these meta changes and sold soooo many crowns to supply the habit now im ready to do something else. Thank you again. If you do any pve content tip videos or builds please do one
18:23 (brings the simping out) I was here for your voice!! LMAO nice vid, loved the bugloss reference and is really true about end game players... we are soooo lazy xD
I love your videos! I am a huge fan because of the great information, the effort you put into scripting them and your sense of humor. I suspect AI/bots are the source for the hateful comments...or idiots. Idiots can be pretty hateful...their life probably sucks now or it will 'cause what goes around comes around.
You brought up shopping around. I needed a couple of pieces of Mother's Sorrow with the divine trait. 99% were golded out @ $350K to $400 K each. I didn't need them golded out because I had all the materials needed to upgrade them. I went to just about every trader and found the pieces I needed in green for around $20K each. A little effort will save you a shit load of money.
whenever I see a new video, I have to prepare myself mentally for the fact that I need at least half an hour to enjoy It... it's just my guilty pleasure, I don't even dare to turn it on immediately, that would be disrespectful have a great day
Right when Witches festival started I got two or three Ruby Candlelight Gathering, which all sold between 300-400K each. About a week in I saw somebody post in zone they were selling one for 200K, which I thought was a steal and I was going to turn for quick mons. Long story short I had to drop it to 280K just to sell it. Morale of the story? This ain’t Wolf of Wall Street. Learn when to quit while you’re ahead
was interested to see what was said in this video.. the worst mistake i made was the other day... 4AM wanted to sell one aetherial dust... ended up selling 3 for 380k... i wasnt a happy gamer...
One mistake I made was giving a bunch of valuable crafting mats to guildies, not knowing that they were worth a ton of gold. Like mundane runes, culanda liquor, etc
Great video very useful. Was wondering what are your thoughts trying to sell crafting mats as raw or as inglots, sanded, etc, also it is worth to list also crafting mats which are not end game cp 160 or we are better off just selling that to npc ?

🤣 I do one thing you said not to and that's flip plants and as it happens pieces from Clockwork. I started by selling off my extras from builds so I wouldn't have to store them
I now buy for 2 players on request and sell slightly higher.. what am I buying? DLC zone plants, because neither player has those zones or DLC's..
🤣🤣 at the beginning of the free Plus week, I emailed both and told them to go stock up! But that I'd also be happy to buy what they want later.

Love your videos help me out a lot making gold.
Liking and commenting, because comments are good for the RUclips algorithm and more people need to know your content exists
cheers :) thank you!
Amazing cinematics and memes on which I laugh or smile everytime I watch any of your vids.
Don't care that much about trading but just like your vids style so I watch them anyway :)
Getting op trading info as well tbh 👀
Another great video! Your wry sense of humor is *chef's kiss*. The dislikes are from those disappointed in the quality of the feet pics at the end, I'm sure.
Perhaps it is only because I showed one foot. I'll have to include both feet next time ;)
Been watching for a while but the foot made me subscribe.
I play on PC and can't seem to get into a guild that has a vendor that I can sell items on. Thanks for sharing your video.
The Boomy audio at 13:05 only added to the sigma male energy
Cabaret, comedy or theatre nothing is off limits. The only thing that matters when making a harmless joke is getting a laugh out of it and it was funny. If people attach political meaning some harmless fun, well that's on them. Your content is fantastic I'm not a huge trader in ESO.. I'm one of those end gamers that trades a ton when I'm low on funds then don't trade for weeks but if there's a new Arttea video I get myself a coffe and its time for a break from work : p
My now new go to #1 creator, thanks!
(Or, you can purchase the fragments, like I did )
For more info:

50?! Yeah I’ll definitely just buy most of those lol. Thank you so much 💖
I can’t believe that after 6 years playing this game I recently found you.
Nice easter egg reference with BUGULUS.
Excellent, as always! Cheers!
Recently got into this game on series x I trade items to new players that often offer up 4-5k for a green tier weapon although I say it not worth all that much they don't care and just want better items
Great vid. You have new subscriber! Btw what staff motif are you using?
You are gorgeous and your voice is just as lovely. Thank you for taking the time to help us all out! Just wanna give credit where credit is due!
What style motif are you wearing? Or is it a costume? It's really nice looking :)
Helpful tip for xbox players, items are generally about 1/3 the PC price at guild traders. There are exceptions, but I'd bet most items are about that. This is going off in game prices, and the tamriel trade center bot on discord, comparing the prices.
Well I found my new favorite eso youtuber. I love how you called it buttfloss just to keep up the tradition lmao
Thank you! Your channel is amazing!
Thank you so much!
Ornate armor can be handed kn as a daily in clockwork city. Real fast and easy daily to do, although i do agree that ornate weapons arent worth selling some people doing ornate armor quest might buy for 500-1k gold per piece
Dude I love your channel i am new but everything you said has been helpful.
Cheers man, welcome to ESO! Happy to help 😁
Just discovered your content, addicted lol.
Hi, great videos! Quick question, what motif/costume are you wearing?
Great videos! Very detailed and accurate!
Quick mark for 6.50. Players need ornate armor for crows daily in Clockwork. But yes. Almost nobody does them outside of events
I still love the styl of ur videos just serous and funny together
Your videos are very informative and fun. i'm subbing
the karen moment was GOLDEN, you rockin lol
18:23 (brings the simping out) I was here for your voice!! LMAO
nice vid, loved the bugloss reference
and is really true about end game players... we are soooo lazy xD
You are very kool Arttea 😎
Thank you for your helpful videos
I just bought a bunch of the Deadlands trees before realizing I could just get them from the vendor in Fargrave 🤦🏻♂️
New sub here, are you into Kevduit? Seeing your humor and editing some ppl might think so, gl with channel 😊
So true! And that goes both ways - as the seller, looking to maximize profits, and the buyer, looking to grab a sweet deal! Nothing good comes easy ;p
whenever I see a new video, I have to prepare myself mentally for the fact that I need at least half an hour to enjoy It...
it's just my guilty pleasure, I don't even dare to turn it on
immediately, that would be disrespectful
have a great day
Right when Witches festival started I got two or three Ruby Candlelight Gathering, which all sold between 300-400K each.
I like the twin braids and the jewelry.
was interested to see what was said in this video..
the worst mistake i made was the other day...
