No ESO+ > Bought all DLCs with crowns for gold transactions > 2 fake banks for storage > Utilize a home for furniture storage > Do daily writs and dungeon runs, and some repeatable quests = Self sufficient for almost free (just the chapter $$ once a year)

Best farm to me was farming for the Ayleid Bookcase Praxis. Got one after like 15 hours or so in total of farming, split up on several days. Sold it for 16 millions. Those millions afforded me 3 DLC packs to be traded with people who wanted gold for crowns. And with more DLC open to me, I can earn gold more easily. So that praxis farm is a very solid foundation to get the DLC unlocks going.

I don't do group dungeons , only public as I do it as a single player, way I prefer it, plus I need to be able to stop and come off at a moments notice due to my husbands bad health and I run a small business from home, so I play casually. I have never done any PVP , not really my thing, but may try it some time soon. I have trouble making money on all characters, so this has helped. thanks very much.
I play since beta without eso plus. It is like cooking without ingredients. My hole bank and chest have the only purpose to replace crafting bag. I play without ESO+ (at time of writing this) and space is definitely a struggle. My main gold warning is from materials and crafting writs however though I have a fair few mastercrafting writs in my inventory for my main character. I recently bought the Blackwood CE when it tanked in price due to the new dlc, I still cannot complete most of them thanks to the dlc issues with which dlcs where included like the lack of Wrotgar and thieves guild.
I created 10 other accounts just to make a guild that I could use for the guild bank for additional storage. Have ESO +, all the storage chests and IKEA houses and 10 toons that are used for storage. Still have storage issues.
First of all, thank you for this guide. For a newbie in ESO this is very valuable information! Okay... I'm very new to ESO, as in never played, now considering to buy the High Isle Collector's Edition with the base game and t he other editions. Do I understand it correctly that these do NOT include the DLC's and that you have to buy these separately as well? I'm the more casual player and would like to be able to advance in the game, maybe make some money in it :D And I'm on a limited budget. I think I'm running a very similar templar healer build to the one in your vídeo, at least skills an play style. Having fun with it recently resulted in my main bowblade getting aside =/ Anyway, Great guide and content!!!
I can make 25k in a couple hours with my thief character. I imagine that if someone had several thief style toons on the roster they could really rake it in. That would get old for me pretty quickly though. Thanks for your videos! They are always helpful!
The periodic free ESO+ Trials allow casual players to benefit from the craft bag temporarily opening up their inventory when it vacuums up all the materials and makes them accessible to all characters
I wanted to do crafting because I enjoyed it, I very quickly realized I needed either a shit ton of gold or ESO+, So I got ESO+. I then realized I needed more gold for bag space and Now I'm trying to grind motifs in zones I want to play.
I dont think you need either. It’s vital to max out inventory slots and to join a good trading guild and sell sell sell. Store trait and rare crafting items in your bank, use your free storage box, sell junk often, everything else should fit in your inventory. When you can’t fit any more, buy more boxes with the currency from master writs.
So I'm a grand master crafter that crafts daily with no eso plus, here's the trick first u will need all 8 storage chess u can obtain these with crowns ,master writs and telovar , you also need maxed out bank space , so u will need 2 60 space chess for crafting the other 6 chess is for gear , so keep ur must have ad a crafter in ur bank , ur bank works just like a craft bag at the tables as in if it's in ur bank it'll show up at all the crafting stations, keep one chess for furniture mats and style material, keep ur other chess will be ruin stones, trait material, and extra stacks of mats u dont readily need it's a grind but I craft sets for players run a furniture store daily it can be done
This exactly what I was looking for, I need to spend a lot of money to complete the Grand Master Crafter achievement…I need 50 full motifs ☠️☠️☠️ I usually pay for eso+ every 3 months to move mats from my bank to the craft bag 🙈
Hi Arttea! I love your videos! And i want to share them with some people... so I wanted to ask permission to use some of your pictures in your youtube video to do a guide in spanish since a lot of my guildies don't know english... It's just for a guide in discord. Also I will tell them where to find the original source material. I really respect the work you put on them so I wanted to ask c:
Hola! Claro que si! Es muy amable de su parte traducir el video para sus guildies! (sorry if my Spanish is cooked lmao, it was my first language but I am pretty rusty with it now since no one speaks Spanish in Canada ;p)
@@Arttea Genial! Tu contenido merece ser traducido! Gracias a ti he comprado muchas cosas de la crown store solo con oro y siempre le hablo a mis guildies de tus tácticas! And your spanish it's good! I'm surprised! Ty for letting me use it!
I can not possibly imagine playing ESO without my craftbag.. and my bankspace.. and my monthly crowns... and and and.... If there ever was an MMORPG really worth the subscription, it's ESO. But for any super casual player just doing quests and completing all the things like Delves and Dolmens along the way, and just sell everything that you don't need to the vendors, along with some thiefing trips for a change from time to time, that should make you enough Gold for whatever you need. Seriously when you are a super casual player you don't really need much gold.
If I were free to play I would make 3 character to help me hold onto items and then literally just sell everything Im not equipping outside of the matts to do simple writs like blacksmithing, jewelry, woodworking and clothier. Alchemy takes on a lot of storage for example. Might not me free to play friendly to hold onto.. maybe stack corn flowers and columbine to sell in bulk.
I haven’t played in like 3 or 4yrs…maybe more, but I made millions farming the starter island for rubidite ore & iron ore & any other mats you can find. There’s tons of mats on that island, but even when I played there were already a bunch of bots farming the same stuff.
I Love my Craft Bag, If im playing eso then im subscribed, I couldn't play without a craft bag. I Still don't have a trader and im down to my last 25 mill, the way that prices are going up I need to pull my finger put and get a trader. Another good way to get gold is to do the cyrodiil daily, e.g Capture 3 keeps , 9 resources this is an extremely slow way of making gold but you defiantly can make some serious gold using the Arena Gladiator Proofs. I currently have 230 of these and I probably should use them. But I'm scared I won't get what I want.
Omg 230 proofs!?!? Holllyyy you're sitting on a GOLD MINE with that many proofs haha. But yeah absolutely, those conquest dailies come in clutch! Same with the IC dailies!
Whenever you have a moment Arttea, I have something I'd like to hear your opinion on :D So, I've heard of people listing things in traders for, like, one gold less than they're valued at (I.E, something worth 50k being sold at 49,999). Some people have told me they feel like they sell faster when they do this, but I've always thought it felt iffy to me. Would you be willing to share your thoughts on it?
That's a really good question! I myself am someone who likes to list my items for 1 gold lower (ex: 299,999 instead of 300,000). Oftentimes, I am selling the same kinds of items as many others in my guilds. So, because I am a competitive seller, I like pricing my item 1 gold lower to not only entice the buyer into thinking that they're getting a better deal (kind of like in real life haha) but I also undercut my guildies by a marginal amount. Undercutting is a great method to implement in high-traffic and high-competition traders, but by only undercutting by a tiny amount, I do not contribute to the lowering of the value of the price of any items. I can't say for certain that using this pricing convention ultimately results in any meaningful differences, it's more so the fact that your items appear "first" when being searched for (if your items are listed for less than your guildies') that will aid you in securing those sales. Hope that helps a bit!
TBF, 49.999 basically _is_ 50k, so I'm not sure I'd call this exactly "undercutting". It works the same way as in the supermarket: Seeing a 4 as the first digit instead of a 5 has a noticeable psychological impact meaning you're more ready to buy this item, whether that is 49k/50k in ESO gold, or €4,95 vs €5,00 in real money.
I also do writs daily on 8 toons , tips keep one stack of ur racial material on each toon , keep only repora ruin stones in ur bank u dont need trait material Furnishing material style material or any other ruin stones to do daily writs , remember to deposit all materials from writs, surveys and farming in to ur bank the only pain is having to travel home to deposit materials wen it comes time to craft furniture or sets u will have to swap out materials
My favourite goldmaking method was to sweat a leeching/curse set for my tank dk, and now i can basically sleep while i solo world bosses by poisoning them and even cursing them with the stench of my sweaty gamer armor
Ok, one weird question: I'm not really buying eso+ every month, and I've noticed that when I don't have eso+ I get more gold upgrade materials than with eso+. Is that a weird coincidence or am I just not noticing it with eso+ because I don't do any inventory management?
It’s likely the latter: that you don’t notice it with plus because it goes right into your craft bag or that it’s just a matter of RNG. Otherwise, that would be a pretty strange business model; to grant more gold material drops to unpaying customers 😅
I must be terrible at this game lol. Been back in it for about a year now, logging in daily, doing writs, with eso+ and only have 200k gold. Furnishing plans are taking my money.
I play with ESO+ But without Guilds, and therefore Vendors So my question (obviously) is know any good methods that work well for someone who has deliberately shot themselves in the foot? As i have Dont worry too much, i chose this way in part because in other MMOs i always become rich too quickly, so i wanted to slow myself down MY 2 current methods are - Play the game (deconstruct blue and purple drops, sell white and green to merchant) & Antiquities I enjoy Antiquities, for a time (watch a movie or tv while you do it) but its kinda boring It would be nice to have a third and/or fourth method if you can share PS im not the only person who plays this way, shocking as this news is to some folks, so there _might_ be enough interest in a video
It’s not that hard on xbox, I created 10 accounts so I could make 2 guilds for storage, I use one for mats and one for items to sell or store. I make all my money from buying AP and then selling it because I only play one day a week and I make about 50k a day on xbox and never have storage problems and I also own all the dlcs paid for with gold
My favorite method is when other people just give me gold. I have gotten quite a bit of gold to taxi people to cold harbor. A dude gave me 100,000 gold just for running around Spellscar with them for 20 minutes. So yeah free gold is the best gold.
Oh wow that's really nice of that Spellscar dude! That's a great point though - players are willing to pay others for services. While most of these services revolve around being "carried" through content, which usually implies that the player "carrying" isn't very "casual", a lot of services can still be more casual, like being a taxi or running around skyreach or spellscar for a hot minute. I wonder if, when those duo mounts finally come out, players will offer uber services for gold? Ngl, I'd pay some top dollar for someone to uber me around to all of the psijic questline locations
Hmm are you referring to the links to youtube videos in the description? I just checked and they seem to be working for me! You can't copy and paste them right from the description, but you should be able to click on them.
I ended up in Cyrodil for a quest and kept getting murdered by the same guy who only said "lvl 46 go home lols". asked someone how to leave cause I had no idea. Haven't been back since. too busy doing zone clearing and house furnishing.
Aw, I'm sorry to hear that you had such a crappy experience in Cyrodiil :( I had some really awful experiences in PvE when I was newer; players would mock my level and dps, and that made me really hesitant to queue up for dungeons for a really long time, so I can definitely relate. I hope you can give pvp another shot in time - if you want to of course!
I have to adamantly disagree with you on the daily crafting writs. I have been without eso+ the whole time (except for the free week which was nice for those random style mats I never use) and managed it fine across multiple toons. I feel that at least the enchanting (and jewelry writs if you have the dlc) dailies are mandatory without eso+ for the sole purpose of master writs, which should be used on storage boxes first and foremost. I would avoid doing daily writs on your alts until you max out their respective crafting line through deconstructing gear and never carry more than 200 of a certain material. You can passively level a lot of skills by using the decon assistant (which you can trade gold to a crown seller). But the added storage you get from the boxes bought via the writ vouchers are too important to pass up.
As I stated in the video, If you can manage the toll on your inventory space imposed by crafting writs, then it’s definitely a great gold making strategy. For a lot of very sweaty players (*that don’t have eso plus) that use a lot of sets for a variety of content, this is simply not a reality.
@@Arttea I understand your point of view, but in my experience the value gained from getting the storage chests far outweighs it, and if you dont want to go hard on all the professions (alchemy and provisioning are almost not worth it) than doing at least the jewelry and enchanting will get you there (those 2 professions utilize the least amount of space).
Time to make some Mushroom and vegetable risotto with baked white river salmon. It will be a while with HIgh Isle. I think that they keep losing the island's location.
There's definitely a lot of merit in hanging onto items as the value of a lot of exclusive ones will increase exponentially over time. A lot of items also have to be hung on to if you're interested in getting into crafting.
@@Arttea Put those in storage coffers as mats will be in bank for crafting. My point is being active will keep you from being a hoarder. Also I secretly sell to merchants as a temporary bank, i live a risky life.
You ever accidentally queue up during a Respec and go into battle without any armor on or champion points. It's a WTF situation. Been there. On tank. Naked tank.
The biggest reason for most people not able to make gold is the fragmented market place(extremely stupid idea imo), i am sure countless people are sitting millions of gold but due to the way the market works in this game it's just dumb. And to all those people who say that it works, to them all i can say is to stop using third party help like ttc and then see how fast the system crumbles.
No ESO+ > Bought all DLCs with crowns for gold transactions > 2 fake banks for storage > Utilize a home for furniture storage > Do daily writs and dungeon runs, and some repeatable quests = Self sufficient for almost free (just the chapter $$ once a year)
It's really rad how it is possible to purchase all of the DLCs with gold through gold-for-crowns exchanges A total game-changer

Impressive, Very nice !
Are you alright, Patrick?
Thanks for the vid, Arttea. Stealing is great. I'm able to get 10k gold per day, per toon, without much effort.
we all know the best way to make gold the fastest is ERP
Shhhh don't tell everyone about my #1 trade secret
Can't i just do normal/vet dungeons as a tank or healer and selling stuff? That worked for me on ff14 but no idea how things are here
I've been playing without ESO+ for a while now. I use a few traders, farm dungeons and steal everything. I only have the one character too.
@@Arttea I currently have 56 of the IC daily rewards , I can't think of there name.
Whenever you have a moment Arttea, I have something I'd like to hear your opinion on :D
So, I've heard of people listing things in traders for, like, one gold less than they're valued at (I.E, something worth 50k being sold at 49,999).
Is there a way to check prices for items for PS5?
@@Arttea It would be, true
I must be terrible at this game lol. Been back in it for about a year now, logging in daily, doing writs, with eso+ and only have 200k gold.
Furnishing plans are taking my money.
I play with ESO+
But without Guilds, and therefore Vendors
So my question (obviously) is know any good methods that work well for someone who has deliberately shot themselves in the foot? As i have
Dont worry too much, i chose this way in part because in other MMOs i always become rich too quickly, so i wanted to slow myself down
MY 2 current methods are - Play the game (deconstruct blue and purple drops, sell white and green to merchant) & Antiquities
I enjoy Antiquities, for a time (watch a movie or tv while you do it) but its kinda boring
It would be nice to have a third and/or fourth method if you can share
PS im not the only person who plays this way, shocking as this news is to some folks, so there _might_ be enough interest in a video
Turns out "waitmoor" in a vid today was prophetic
On the poverty line irl so I’m on the poverty like in game, wheres my eso Jobseeker’s Allowance
@@Arttea oh man, the main psijic quest with all the portals was a grind. Though, the commentary from the Augur was top notch.
Donno if it's me but the youtube links/video's aren't there at the end
Hmm are you referring to the links to youtube videos in the description? I just checked and they seem to be working for me! You can't copy and paste them right from the description, but you should be able to click on them.
@@Arttea nah i meant the video cards at the end.. but they're there now 😎
I ended up in Cyrodil for a quest and kept getting murdered by the same guy who only said "lvl 46 go home lols". asked someone how to leave cause I had no idea.
I hope you can give pvp another shot in time - if you want to of course!
the DLCs and 12 mths ESO subscription costs a fortune even now in late 2022 bloody ridiculous and unaffordable .
Legend!
Thanks for this
Casual stonks best stonks
I usually steal stuff, today I dropped a furniture piece khajit skoom bubbler worth over 90k gold so I just had to decorate my house with it :3
I have to adamantly disagree with you on the daily crafting writs.
I think that they keep losing the island's location.
honestly sucks that the craft bag is locked behind a pay wall
How about not letting things pile up and selling everything at end of the day or try too. Being stingy will hurt too.
There anyway I can join your guild I’m a semi hardcore player and making gold is one of my fav things to do I love buying cool stuff for my house😊
Wasn't craglorn the frist dlc tho?
I'm not sure what this comment is in reference to but Craglorn is part of the base game and is accessible to all ESO players!
@@Arttea 13:59 where you called vvardenfell the 1st DLC
I thought craglorn was the 1st one 🤔
Ah, well evidently I meant to say “chapter”.
@@Arttea the gold tips where noice tho 👌 I'm always of in the distance checking dressers and back packs while I'm healing dougens xD
You ever accidentally queue up during a Respec and go into battle without any armor on or champion points. It's a WTF situation. Been there. On tank. Naked tank.
my Cyrodill progress is 0% and I am proud of that
Nice.
RP Strippers need tel var too
that sounds like it could be the name of a PVP guild
YES there was this hot Stripper Bosmer again! 🤭🤭🤭🤭😅😍
If you play this game mainly, just skip buying 3 energy drinks at school and just get plus.
but I'm already skipping 3 lattes for gas money, lol
skip 3 more lattes XD@@williamjohnson2105
First
The biggest reason for most people not able to make gold is the fragmented market place(extremely stupid idea imo), i am sure countless people are sitting millions of gold but due to the way the market works in this game it's just dumb.
And to all those people who say that it works, to them all i can say is to stop using third party help like ttc and then see how fast the system crumbles.
Or buy gold… I bought 5m gold for $8 lol
I would not recommend breaking the TOS
people who pay for vip signatures in online games are all cooked
what are vip signatures?
@@Arttea eso plus whatever
Thanks for considering us poors 🥲
Also the lgbt lights comment killed me
