Your Jesuit series reminds me of my father's old friend - a Jesuit priest, who presided over both my parent's and my sister's wedding ceremonies. At my sister's Wedding rehearsal dinner, he was given the primary seat, and was served his drinks in a large goblet made of Rose colored glass 🍷 and Sterling Silver. It's always reminded me of Jesus' warning to the Pharisees in Matt 23 - specifically v.6.
These Jesuits series are intriguing. I am more interested than ever lol. I was formerly a catholic, i knew nothing except hail mary and rosary prayers. I strongly suggest that we shall grab these books and the resources before they are systematically destroyed and taken off the history pages and replaced by their version of truth.

Thrilling!!!!! I had a 5 hour debate with two pastors a couple of years ago. 3 hours on Rome and its wickedness and 2 hours on the NAR. I got a whole box one time from a guy who we used to invite to our new bible study and he called me the one day said he had some stuff for me and he have me just boxes and tons of resources so many chick publications, and I got like a full box of these tracts in there! Oh my word I couldn't stop I just read through them for weeks on end, was very fun. Also it came at such great timing because I was brand new In Christ, probably Christian only 4 or 5 months at the time... It was hard to share but eventually I was just so convicted haha and started giving them out. Funny enough, some people were offended by them... But it was really fun!

Acts is not a book to get theology from. It’s a transition book from the gospel of the kingdom which Peter was still preaching. Repentance for killing the messiah. It’s not for us. Paul brought us the gospel of the grace of God to us Gentiles. Believe in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and his shed blood for you. Once you believe that and place your trust in it you are saved forever.

If you are truly born again you obey Jesus’s own Words and be baptized into His name, not the pope’s baptism.

So even we have pre-christ myths of gods who died in some way, so what? It’s simply irrelevant, since Jewish Roman and Christian history all confirm that Jesus was killed on a cross. And if it happened in history, that means it wasn’t plagiarized. Plain and simple.
The crucifixion of Jesus is a real event that occurred to a real person, making pre-Christ stories of a dying deity of no value to the origin of the belief in the crucifixion of Jesus in the first century. The belief originated because the event really happened, not because early Jews heard pagan stories through the grapevine.
His baptism, his belief that he had authority from God, his gathering of disciples, and his working of what people believed to be miracles are other established facts universally agreed upon by historians. Because these portions of Jesus’s story are rooted in history itself, pagan myths have absolutely no bearing or relevance to the origin of these beliefs about Jesus.

Sorry Betty. But in the book of Romans, chapter 10, Paul never mentions baptism anywhere as being necessary to salvation.

As with both Acts 2:37-38, and Acts 8:36-38, baptism was after the fact.

First he believed, then he was baptized.
Acts is not a book to get theology from. It’s a transition book from the gospel of the kingdom which Peter was still preaching. Repentance for killing the messiah. It’s not for us. Paul brought us the gospel of the grace of God to us Gentiles. Believe in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and his shed blood for you. Once you believe that and place your trust in it you are saved forever.

He also said that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in “His name”, not titles. Our Lord also stated that the Holy Ghost will come in His name. If you are truly born again you obey Jesus’s own Words and be baptized into His name, not the pope’s baptism.
I agree except one can be saved and not have the Holy Ghost. The parable of the ten virgins is proof of that. I do agree though that the Holy Ghost comes in Jesus name and that Acts 2:38 is the correct answer to Matthew 28:19. God bless you.
