Jongkook is truly amazing to have become so successful in Korea after all the challenges he faced in Turbo. And then making a company just for the group shows how much he loved the members!
It’s so crazy seeing Jong - Kook as a young idol with screaming fangirls! It’s interesting to see how your relationship with fame and fans changes over time even if you continue to be famous… also absolutely awful to hear about the abuse and mistreatment Turbo faced, seems like some things never change in kpop :/
i remember when I was really into 90s kpop decades ago and I found turbo’s music but I never would have imagined that all this was happening behind the scenes. it’s heartbreaking
I have always wanted to know more about turbo’s history, especially after I learned about the horrid abuse specifically Kim Jong Kook was unfortunately subjected to. Thank you so much for covering this.
I know the name Turbo because of ATEEZ and BXB's covers of Black Cat Nero. Thank you for making it. I wish they had been protected. Not a lot of people know that the original Korean version of Black Cat Nero was from Turbo. I saw at least a couple of comments on the BXB video accusing them of explicit plagarism of the ATEEZ version, not knowing about Turbo.
He really went through alot,i had no idea until now,i just saw him.on running man and his yt channel.and as a warm hearted gym authesiastic man....he is ana amazing singer too.i onew these songs just didnt know who sang them...kudos to him
I never knew this stuff. I stanned Turbo back around 1998 but it was really hard to do here in America. I didn't know the language and only had the internet and a sweet older Korean woman who would read me K-pop magazine stuff from her flea market store.
amazing video as always! I have adhd and let me tell you, your videos are pretty much the only video content I can watch for over 10 minutes without getting distracted lmao. Appreciate as always your immense dedication to gather all the details from a story from start to finish. Now, if you excuse me, I'm gonna go listen to Turbo's discography
Amazing and informative video as always! You always find details that I'd never heard before. It's always so impressive. Would you want to you look into all the crazy stuff going on at HYBE? I'm not sure how you research everything, but it's been hard to go through as someone who doesn't speak the language well enough yet. Specifically, what I'm really referring to is the conspiracy theories about how HYBE is really entwined with a cult. From what I've seen, that "church" has been mentioned by/has sponsored (?) a bunch of groups, not just HYBE artists, so I thought it was just one of those things where (to businesses) money is money. But looking through Korean comments (esp on the New Jeans OMG music video comment section) there's a whole lot of information and theories and things I can't follow as well. It's all fascinating and (if at all true) very concerning. I haven't seen a lot of English speaking RUclips channels or anyone at all talking much about this besides mentioning it briefly, so I'm dying to know more.

Kings of natural looking visuals and debuting with 15 songs

I don't know if you've done this already, but I would love for you to do a video on The Grace - not enough people talk about them and their music.
I was at the KCON too. I went just for Turbo tbh lol.
The "Sparta" of Running Man - Kim Jong-kook was part of Turbo, and damn, he was deadly alongside Song Ji-hyo too.

Oh boy, this should be interesting..
I'm ready for this one; share the tea, also great work from the Baby VOX report, big stan since then, and keep up the great work! 🥰🙂😍🙂🥰
just wondering if you’d ever do an episode on SM’s slave contracts and how ex-tvxq and exo members left the company because of them
Thanks, didn't know the story of this group
Song Jihyo talked about a past toxic relationship, it is with that man.

i always love watching you cover stories of groups i haven’t heard of before😁
honestly you should cover what ever happened to 24k! I've interned for them and it was... something
Can you the story of Super Junior next?
And also, do the HYBE vs. Min Hee-jin story too!
Great video! I always love when you cover 90's-era K-pop! I'd love for you to cover Roo'ra's history or girl groups like Diva or S.E.S.
i’m never this interested in a video and I’m never this early. Also hi midnight.

I’m about to go on a long bike ride listening to this video!!
I only know their song History, so it's gonna be fun to learn about these guys!
So "Black Cat Nero" is their song and not Ateez's? I love that song!
I honestly didn't know that he was in a group! I know that he collaborated with Ateez. 😮
