Another scene in this episode I loved was when Phil and Claire were trying to rearrange their kids summer plans so they had some free time to themselves. When Hayley realises what they’re doing she starts making ridiculous (and expensive) demands to Phil in exchange for moving her beach trip and instead of letting Hayley get her own way (which seems to always happen) Phil gets annoyed and threatens to ground her instead! I feel like this and when she was arrested at collage for drinking and started whining that she was the ‘victim’ were the only times where Phil finally got angry at Hayley and actually told her off!

The thing is it's one of the best moments of ur life,so trying to make it as special as u can is not petty, why people have a fancy marriage? They can just do it anywhere alone but they try to make it as fancy as they can.

Manny goes to Colombia on holidays, but Gloria lost his papers, so they go to get a copy. All the other go to get married, which is why the confusion is so funny.
