Are you joking lol? This and Seinfeld are literally the only shows that are ever mentioned in greatest sitcom talks, and is probably in almost everybody’s top 10 shows of all times
As much as I love the Quiet Place cold open...ever since I took notice to the fact that the sounds Jim's sharpie makes when he writes "14 min!" with a double underline don't match up, it stresses me out for some really weird reason. To me it sounds like the pen makes 3 distinct strokes with the last one potentially being 3 in quick succession, though the last one sounds more like he's writing the letter "m" in my head. The fact that there's no cut though, and the page otherwise is identical is I think the thing that weirds me out. Don't worry, I'm abundantly aware of just how weird it is to be weirded out by this. 🤦♂
I am weirded out by the same thing and that scene always makes me uncomfortable for some reason too. But, I’ll make your worries go away by saying this, the sound the marker makes was added in post-production because it probably wasn’t loud enough for the microphone
@@benkay1026 At least I’m not crazy. At least for this reason. I’m surprised at myself for not figuring out the sound being added in post after all this time. I appreciate you having put my mind at ease for that part. 😅
That stresses me out too lolol 😂 My theory is that, since there's no cut, he turned the page once again off camera to reveal another page just like the other one but with "14 min" written on it, and they added that sound in post to make it seem like was actually writing! I might be totally wrong tho lolol but I think it's possible that they did it, maybe in case he'd take too long to actually write it if he tried? Idk lol
I think it was just misfortune, since Dwight didn't own the building at that point in the show (plus the floor is carpeted), but funny to think about nonetheless!
Yeah, I really don't remember that scene. I'm thinking it's one we've never gotten to see before. I wonder how many more Office moments have still never been shared. Hopefully they will all be here on this channel eventually.
