I just experienced the same this past weekend in the eastern Sierra Nevada in the Mammoth Lakes/Yosemite region. It has now blown into Southern California. We are all breathing this.

Good to see you are in Seiad Valley. It might be a time to consider flip flopping to Rainy Pass and the border. The weather can become an issue here in Washington during September. But this year has been crazy so who knows. Just a thought to keep in mind. Best to you and Honeybear! Bill
