Male bulls average 10.3 feet, that's just average, and 6 tonnes while the biggest are 13 feet tall and 10 tonnes. Fun fact though their was a species of elephant that lived in Asia 24,000 years ago who lived alongside our ancestors which stood at 18 feet tall and 24 tonnes being the largest land mammal on earth ever. African elephants and Asian elephants do not speak the exact same language, but they can get past that. They certanly can understand one another's language on a certain level. The Asian elephant does not have the same strict social hierarchy that the African Elephant has, but just like the African Elephant, they are extremely family oriented. Another fun fact is that Asian Elephants kick the males out of the extended family after a certain age because the females refuse to put up with the rowdiness of the male elephants once they become fully grown. lol. Adult males are mainly (but not always) solitary and they just come around to mate and then they leave.

    Can you imagine a Hybrid of the 2 elephants in 1 whether is natural or artificial examination.

    • @TheChampion2025
      @TheChampion2025 3 месяца назад

      they can't form hybrid because they are from two different genus... very less genetic similarities for mating...
      I'm not saying its completely impossible, but the chances are like 1 in 10 million for a child to be born out of intergenus breeding. Plus, the child would be horribly deformed and would not make it into adulthood.
      Interestingly, a Zoo had this extremely rare phenomenon happen, but the baby died within 10 days ...

      African Elephants are larger and more aggressive naturally because they're constantly fighting predators. If they ever get into musk or a dispute, the African Elephant will win 9/10 times and it could seriously hurt the Asian one while African vs African they can withstand each other. Think of a big black African man like Francis Ngannou vs a small asian guy it's not fair.

Every animals in the mysore zoo is at large population none of the animals is alone and from last 11 year it is more growing😅 due to good caring, indian elephants are 11 and African ones are 2 , giraffes are 14(one of the largest giraffe collections in indians zoo) ,around 4000 deers, exotics species are more here like orangutan are 4 , gorilla are 2 , chimpanzees are 10 , two tapir, and tigers around 14 ,Gaurs are 40 (one of the largest gaur collection in indian zoos) , 4 rhinoceros( 2 are indian and 2 are African) ,canines population is around 90(including fox,hyena,dhole,wolf,jackal) , 2 pairs of ring tailed lemurs , around 10 varieties of monkey(including lion tailed,rhesus,hoolock gibbon,Langur,Bonnet,etc), 4 pairs of otters, jaguars are 2, cheetahs are 5 and leopards are 10 , two types of bears (sloth and himalayan black ) , around 90 species of bird, and 20 species of reptiles, hippopotamus are 15. Wallaby kangaroo are 6, around 50 gorals are present (one of the largest goral collection in indian zoos), around 8 zebras , Nilgai (blue bull) are 45 , , Now see all these animals are brought to mysore zoo in its minimum quantity(around 2-8) and these animals have grown so much upto(20-15 average each) even spotted deers are 625. Cause dumbo’s an African elephant hence why he has the big ears compared to his mom and the other elephants who are from the Asian regions. So Mrs. Jumbo’s baby is literally a different elephant breed. At least that’s my best guess
