INTP vamp well we got the love thing but we are very different. One example, I am emotionally demonstrative and I do not take orders. He’s emotionally avoidant and gives orders. Once I got over his walking away and shaming me and he got over that my feelings weren’t about him....we were good.

Coming back to this video 3 years later... Although the relationship is over (the INTP woke up one day and decided they didn't love me anymore,) although we remain friendly the coldness seems to be a pattern not truly understanding that a relationship in and has to be a place of emotional safety for me. There was no cheating at least on my side. Maybe the lack of Fi makes it hard for INTPs to be empathetic. I think this video to be balanced would be worth looking at it. All this being said I am glad I experienced the relationship as it was an eye opener. ENFPs give so much usually and this is sometimes to our downfall.
I just feel you only said bad things in this video. I am enfp and my boyfriend is intp and I was looking for good advice. Now I just feel down and bad. For example, me as enfp basically hate it to give orders to other persons. I really dont know were you got your experience from, but for me this video looks more likely you wanted to put your anger about this typ somewhere out there ..
This is a very odd characterisation of ENFPs…I am the most loyal person you can imagine and the most sensitive parent…I am so empathic and understanding…authenticity is so important to me. I think this is part of being ENFP…are you confusing ENFP with another type?
I would like to know more that how ENFP thinks about INTP as a complement As I'm mature and experienced now- I know now that what is imp and not imp in life for me. As a INTP - (N+P) intuitions and perceiving are imp for me. And I think my partner should honor the same . Perceiving - to be open minded for new possibilities And as an INTP to complement my weakness to strength of (E+F) - I am open to learn and grow my (E+F) aspects.

Yeah I find it hard to be honest with ENFP. I had a close ENFP friend and I said something that I thought was a compliment but they took it completely wrong, even when I explained what I meant by it. It felt like they ignored my perspective and still wanted me to add pillows to everything I say. I’d say make sure your ENFP interest is okay with honest communication or else you’ll be suppressing your thoughts as an INTP
As an ENFP, I have to be aware of when I'm being oversensitive. I try to use my NF to tune into the other person and gauge their intentions/motivations behind their actions/words. If I have a strong reaction, then I know most likely I'm "triggered." If we're close, I'll share this with the person. Because I know 99% of the time, the person isn't trying to offend me. It's just my stuff acting up...but the moment can be an amazing opportunity for us to talk through the moment and build a closer relationship.

And as an ENFP male I find INTP girls very very ( like the most ) interesting women. I can listen and talk for hours with an INTP girl and I'm fascinated how my INTP girls mind works and how smart , funny and cute she is. ENFP + INTP is actually the best match possible, they complete each other.
Fi selfish? It just means an awareness of own feelings…that can mean being overwhelmed by them to the extent it is tough to ignore that noise and focus on others but often those feelings are negative feelings about oneself so not selfish. Impulsive or simply curious about the world and exploring…this is kind of the opposite of what MBTI is meant to do…you haven’t understood from an enfp perspective at all…just reinforced your own cognitive bias
I dated an enfp once and she made me sooo uncomfortable lol. She doesn't mean to but she just isn't very aware of my experience lol. Se demon and all. Not exactly her thing. That wasn't really too much of a problem though because I would communicate and she would feel bad and try not to do it again. I didn't really feel a connection with her though. She just felt too different and overwhelming. I think I was a little more mature mentally at the time too. We were freshmen in highschool.

I'm an ENFP married to my INTP for 16 years. We both have to compromise quite a bit, but we are amazing together
