    “light gaming”
    Nah, that laptop is honestly a beast.

      Had to grab it when I saw it. Weighs like a tank, too.

      @@zzz-cb3xe it does get warm, and the fans are loud. That said, I've used it for gaming (Snowrunner at max graphics), and it did fine.

    Really good stuff! I have also a ThinkPad T25g Gen 1 laptop, but with an Intel Core i7 and a 1080p screen. I saw you added some RAM to the laptop, and I did the same by adding 32 GB when I bought it one year ago, it came with 16GB of RAM, total is 48 GB of RAM now. However, I can see that, whenever I reach 20 or 30 GB in use, Windows 10 starts lagging and I have the feeling the RAM is the bottleneck. I have read that it could be the RAM's frequency or the voltage but not sure. Have you experienced the same?

      Hi there! I now have 128GB of RAM in the T15g (32GB each on all four slots; video guide coming soon!) and didn't experience any sort of lag on Windows 11.
      Did I understand correctly: your laptop came with 16GB, then you added 32GB to get 48GB in total? If so, the 40-50GB figure you mentioned sounds pretty close to maxed out! Time for bigger RAM? 🤔

      @@ChezDoesStuff I'm sorry, I did the math wrong, I have fixed my comment. It may be caused by the RAM I bought, but I can try with other brands. I still think the voltage and frequency are key in this situation, but I wanted to know other owners' experiences on this matter.

      Got it. In my case, I don't feel any sort of lag. If it helps, the RAM I got is Team Group's T-Create series.

    Is it better than the same rtx3080 legion gMing laptops, build quality and gaming?

    • @ChezDoesStuff
      @ChezDoesStuff  Год назад

      I haven't handled a Legion with those specs, but the T15g has the sturdiness and build quality that Thinkpads have become known for.

      I own thinkpad t420s and legion and thinkpad feels much sturdier but very awful speakers. How is cooling?
