Right now it’s about selecting the candidate who can best beat him and LEAD America back to sanity as much as possible. We’ll all get on board with whomever after the convention. And stop it with it’s up to as the voters!! AGGRAVATING. We’re not voting until November. Right now it’s up to the Dems to select the right person and up to the media to be as objective and honest as possible so voters have all the info they need to make good decisions in Nov. And for the Dems to run an amazing campaign. I’m losing respect for Whoopi and that makes me sad. I don’t care if she has a bad day. She’s not the president of the “free world.” And Obama and others have had bad days. Biden is in crisis and he has failed at a huge part of his job which is communication and being vibrant and charismatic and leading a strategic comm plan. He’s not a leader. He’s great at governing but no one wants to listen to him talk. He can’t make an effective case against Biden and that is one of his most critical jobs. SO angry at Biden’s enablers and all the stubborn Dems right now. Listen! to people. Hilary didn’t and see where that got her. Get out of the bubble. Let’s celebrate Biden like a hero at the convention and get some inspiration and energy back to Dems. Sorry for the rant - I’m going to have to stop watching The View. The same old same old discussion for months. Every day. Nothing new or innovative and Whoopi can’t even stick to the topic which is not Trump right now. We can’t do anything about him at the moment except for select the best candidate on the reasonable and actually democratic side. It’s so frustrating and scary to listen to and watch.

What a coincidence that Joy and Whoppi are the oldest on the panel and the most upset about age criticisms.
Joy and Whoopi both need to stop. It's not "Biden bashing" to point out that people have legitimate concerns. And Whoopi didn't answer Sunny's question. She needs to stop shouting over people who don't agree with her. To wait even later to have this discussion would be even worse.

Maybe Joy and Whoopi don't understand what kind of level of privilege you would need to have, in order for the choice of President in THIS election to be so inconsequential, that you can waste time not campaigning against Trump. Why don't you ask a woman, a person of color, someone with an ailing loved one, an immigrant, or a person with immigrants in their families, any working class person in an urban/suburban environment, or anyone in college with a student loan.

@@BePatient888I am a woman of color, a mother of 3, and came from another country at a young age. My parents did immigration the legal way. Im not a fan of either but Biden isn’t it. Under Trump, we had zero wars, no vax mandates and less taxes to pay. I lost my career while 6 months pregnant because I refused to get vaccinated. Had to take a job in another state that didn’t require them and that directly impacted everything in my life. I’m voting with those issues in mind.

When younger voters consistently vote in national and primary elections, THEN I’ll care what they want in an election. I am sorry but young people have a lot to say but they don’t vote. If they did, the make up in the Senate and House would be different. Democrats have counted on the young vote since the 60’s and they don’t win because young people don’t show up for the PRIMARIES where it counts. “ What about Gen Z and the Millennials?” Ask them why they can’t be bothered to show up for ALL elections, not just the presidential elections.

Whoopi makes her voice too prominent, she is the moderator, not the expert here and is too emotional for clarity. Sarah and Alyssa are awake to this moment and pointing out the reality.. Love Joe, but imagine if we could get someone new in to reignite voter enthusiasm ! It isn't about whether Joe Biden was good or not, it is about the public perception of him, which is devastatingly negative.
sarah and alyssa are actually not at all awake to the moment. they are living in a world where they can just demand a change and a change will happen, but that's not real life. Right now this is likely getting more views, so of course they will focus on this issue more... journalism has fallen a long ways. News has become another form of entertainment, and is not all a true representation of what news is intended to communicate.

There is time to make a change. Have all candidates meet in say Chicago, discuss/debate who will be the best to replace Biden, and FOR THE GOOD OF THE PARTY go forward with that process and that chosen agreed upon representative. REAL SIMPLE. The candidates are representative of those who want what is best (you would hope) for the democratic party. If they do NOT do this, BIDEN WILL LOSE. He gave that money to where ever it was needed like; the military or social security or what ever that was. That’s $400,000..00 a year. All together it was$1,600,000.00. NO!
