    I am going to use this idea in Tunisia....to make foot-paths, outdoor toilets, walls, benches, etc.
    Instead of melting the plastic, mixing with sand, etc. this idea is so simple. I will build shelters for farm animals. Start with safe projects before proceeding to building dwellings for humans.
    Just collecting PET bottles will bring about tens of thousands of bottles. Plus no need to clean inside as we are stuffing it with soil or sand.
    Brilliant idea.

      The best, if you use rubbish inside, of course just the dry ones.

    This is a great idea. Are blueprints available and could concrete be crushed and used also instead of dirt? Could greatly benefit those suffering in Haiti. We have tons of water bottles in America that could be sent there to provide earthquake proof housing. Also could one build down deeper to provide shelter from hurricanes?

    excellent job, but there is so much plastic waste to use and so many people who won't
    use it , yet . Maybe when things are really desperate with the global waste .

    The entire point of building with an Ecobrick is to RECYCLE used bottles and fill/compact them with trash, not to go and buy new plastic bottles creating more pollution to the environment at the factory level, and look at all the packaging, not to mention gas used to transport the bottles.

    Do all the bottles have to be the same size when fitting them in rows?

    • @beabelicza
      @beabelicza  4 года назад +2

      Yes, you need to find the same size ( in Europe it was very difficult when we have built street furniture. facebook.com/pg/PetPuffTeam/photos/?tab=album&album_id=656942061110456 )

    Use bicycle water bottles and water stores to fill 3-5 gallon water bottles. Give up plastic. Cut up all your
    waste in plastic into small pieces. That waste is killing the ocean and land creatures.
