    Plastic also is useful material for crafting purposes and resists water. 😉

    Yes!! I would live in a bottle house if we’re built by this company . This idea has been around for many years in Nigeria’. Some Americans are now wanting to start building them.

    You can gain a small section of flat plastic cutting from a bottle. Using this, or any sheet of plastic, you could 'nail' or 'tack' or attach the plastic to the caps of the bottles to make a water resistant surface. Doing this on the outside could greatly increase the buildings lifespan.

      Planet Rocker, Considering plastic can take a thousand years to decompose, probably a long time.

      The Plastic will last but the structure wont unless the plastic is mixed with the sand.

    Let's use all the plastic bottles in the great garbage patch in the Pacific for this.

    Instead of the bottles and end up in the ocean and landfill
    this is a good solution

    This is highly underwhelming. Ghana is melting this plastic mixing it with sand and turning it into bricks. You wouldn't even know it is plastic and it is very cheap. This is shameful. Glorified mud house.

    • @RingoWild
      @RingoWild 2 года назад +4

      Actually this method is more environmentally friendly. When you melt plastic, toxic fumes are released. The only way to avoid that is by a very, very low temperature melt. Even so, toxic fumes are released.
