This is a good way to clean up the environment and build decent, affordable housing at the same time. Definitely a win/win situation.

I agree for the most part, only thing i wonder is how it is recycled after demolition. However since most plastic is not recycled anyway and end up being burned for generating electricity i think this is a way better option.

I think that's a brilliant idea! Houses made of plastic instead of pure concrete, I think, is safer, esp., when there's a huge earthquake. People will not end up getting buried under tons of rubbles.

Someone stop this great invation from happening. Now many innovation that cheap and good of humanity comes to life because new global leader, china is challenging the western status quo. Thus both of them are busy so weeed like us can start triving to start give humanity some bandaid after 100 years of western monopoly of our wolrd. Do you think is logic that pharmaceutical giant don't even open book to studying weed as medicine ? For few thousands years human civilization used weed as medicine for alot of illness. Well cancer now is rampant and very lucrative industry lol

i see that the brick was used as exterior walls, some of them without further coating.. how do you think they respond to heating issue?
because i believe plastic or even composite plastics are vulnerable to UV and it will turn rather harmful in the long run
and also how about fire-safety issue?

I don't understand why government doesn't give grant money for converting your car into hydrogen or even electric, instead of wasting resources on new alternative cars especially for poorer people who can't afford new cars. The internet is full of ideas like this, cheap construction methods as some miracle to fix homelessness. But cheap walls do make a cheap house, you can use mud. The roof is far more complex, plus the sealing, ceiling, window frame, pipes and all the stuff on the inside, not to mention the land itself.

This is incredible for many reasons but...... In countries in Central America, for example, trees grow really fast and as they are growing they are cleaning up the environment, producing O2 while sucking up the CO2. These plastic blocks require energy and are most likely carbon negative. Trees for wood products you cut down and replant and it's the gift that keeps on giving. It's great that they are cleaning up all the plastic garbage but a better way of handle that would be to reduce plastic use in general. But still, this is a great project non the less.

My concern is... Since it's still made of plastic, will it melt when it burns? Making it more dangerous for people when it melts? Second, while processing it, the toxic gass will go to air.
But I think, it's better than not doing anything to recycle. Still, good job guys. 👍

I wonder what would happen in the event of a fire. Would it burn? Will it give off toxic fumes when burned? What about long term UV exposure? Plastic doesn't react well to UV. So many questions. One would think it would be cheaper and more safe to just use concrete in their forms instead.
