I really like spiders. They eat flies, mozzies, and cockroaches, which is a big plus for me. I have been bitten once in my near 59 years, and that was when I was about 14 months old.
Hey, Ann, do you watch these. I watched a couple of male pythons fight for dominance for nearly an hour last month. There's some footage on my channel if you're interested.

Your statement is irrelevant. Sex do not kill. If it did we would simply not be here. By omission, you failed to specify sometimes, you are lying here and this saddens me because you are mostly talking to young minds and it is supposed to be science, you mention it for God's sake! INTEGRITY, try to figure out the meaning.

You're missing the point here, sex does kill but it does mean more of us are here. There is an evolutionary advantage to self sacrifice in the game of reproduction.
Think about it. Most species with cannibalistic females live annually and die off in the winter. The males get only a few chances to mate during autumn before the cold comes in to kill them. The males that escape the jaws of the females get to live a few more weeks, but they die regardless and don't continue to mate. Meanwhile, the males that do make the sacrifice get to have stronger children than the males that didn't sacrifice themselves, because he fed his own body to the female and thus his kids. So his kids will hatch out stronger and more developed than the male that didn't feed his children with his body, and his children will outcompete the children of the other male, spreading his genes further.
The trade off is, of course, being able to reproduce multiple times. That's why sexual cannibalism is much more unpopular in animals that live for many years, because being eaten to provide that one single batch of kids an extra boost isn't worth giving up mating over and over every single year. But for spiders that will only live a year, this is a non-issue, so it is hugely advantageous to them.
