Well if every female spider killed every male spider, there wouldn't be any spiders. She probably just tolerates it or he does it when shes sleeping. Might be just this particular type of spider too.
You are correct. Either this video is purposefully being false to push an agenda, which is really weird if that is the case, or it is just wrong. The male spider is actually taking care of this female. Those lines he is destroying isn't her lines. But the lines of neighboring spiders. It makes her web more safe, and rolls up her food, and keeps it out of reach of others. Pretty sure a basic google search would have told anyone such, so I imagine they chose to re-write facts for a narrative.
@@WhatDuhDogDoin But why lie about it? I don't really care about the agenda pushing, so much as the false information. Oh, and the female lays her eggs in the bundle the male creates as well.
When sike was a trend but then got devoured by some roblox kids and turned it into a cringe phrase Now it's disappearing, and to see it again is so nice
I haven't ever heard of someone dying from a black widow bite but I know several people who got really sick because of it... I did see a black widow web once that had three males crawling all over it and causing chaos. The female had enough and started chasing them all around trying to get them out... it was rather funny to watch. 😅
QueenMelodyAngel13 You do realize that such behavior is common in nature and better guarantees that females don't mate again, right? Forget the puerile moralizing and try to look at it from an evolutionary standpoint. In the evolutionary game, the highest priority is passing on one's genes, and the game is cutthroat. These kinds of behavior manifest in the mating system of these species because *they're successful.*

Talacocheta So very glad your reactions have not been worse. Based on what you have written, I would recommend going to the ER. They can treat the severe muscle spasms pain and the asthma attacks which can sometimes be fatal.
JAMES PURKS is 14 year old immune system strong enough?
JAMES PURKS They made it pretty clear they can’t find documented case of a death from a black widow spider in USA 🇺🇸
Plus also made it clear they are not aggressive to humans so with all due respect you made valid points and I agree
However it’s worth noting the factors you did ... their description paragraph would exceed the word count on RUclips - it already goes on & on. They can’t list everything.

@@yungamare4750 he just meant to say that spiders are arachnids, not insects...different species.
So wait.. If the male spider was being a "home wrecker", wouldn't the female spider just killed him? Something feels off about the info on this video.
The video is obviously blowing things out of proportion to make it seem more dramatic. Different species have different things that work for them.
Some Guy I don’t think it’s necessarily pushing a narrative, but is just sensationalizing it to get more attention.
@@WhatDuhDogDoin But why lie about it? I don't really care about the agenda pushing, so much as the false information. Oh, and the female lays her eggs in the bundle the male creates as well.

I haven't ever heard of someone dying from a black widow bite but I know several people who got really sick because of it... You do realize that such behavior is common in nature and better guarantees that females don't mate again, right? Forget the puerile moralizing and try to look at it from an evolutionary standpoint. In the evolutionary game, the highest priority is passing on one's genes, and the game is cutthroat. These kinds of behavior manifest in the mating system of these species because *they're successful.*
