great ! I wonder if >>* Anyone* has been at a *Santana 's Concer*t I attended, when I was leaving at New York, 1984 or 1985 at Hudson River, it was fantastic, I falled in love with Santana there. I think it was Tito Puentes ? marvelous' percussion, it was a floating stage, and a really small concert( in terms of public ) but amazing. We were there, standing on the chairs 3rd row, smoking *Marihuana punto rojo*. my best ever Concert... We enjoyed that much, we were so young, I was 23 years old, & at that Time New York, was amazing, Marchs against Racism, Rock n Roll, March s 4 Legalization of Cannabis... We used 2 hang around at the Village, Washington Square, and at Bleecker Street and at Adam Purple s Garden. Good Times. if anyone reads me and could satisfy my hope, wish & desire, I would b thankfull. Saludos , greetings from Brazil, Carol.
The band at the time had the best percussion line-up - with Rekow, Vilato, Perarza, and Lear - and vocals combo - Ligertwood andWalker ; plus all were still young to play with so much energy. Unfortunately, I thought the Santana band lost its identity after the "Brothers" album.
Muchas gracias por compartirlo. Thanks so much for sharing. I enjoyed a lot.
From one of my very favorite periods of the band. Smoking!

Santana’s direction of where the band was at the time was just so perfect 👍

Can someone please load that 1984 at Wembley concert on youtube
Nice show, sad percussion solos/ conga , timbale , drums / were cut short , eliminated , disrespectful of the musicians.
Very good album.
Delicious music from one of the peak periods of the band.
Love hearing a live version of Touchdown Raiders (even if I am a Packers fan). 👍🏈
I saw Santana at Wembley Stadium with 60k strong in attendance , London 1984
They had endless energy.
Excelente
Great Audio. Showing the Great 1984 Santana Band. Better Gear than in the 1970's.
