मेरे दादा बरसों पहले पहाड़ छोड़ के देहरादून आ के बस गए थे और मैं भी अभी तक सिर्फ 4 या 5 बार गढ़वाल गया हुँ, लेकिन जब से ये गीत सुना है तब से मुझे अपनी जड़ इन पहाड़ों में होने का अहसास होता है हर बार लगता है जैसे मैं इन्हीं के बीच मे रहता हुँ।
अपने जीवन की सबसे बड़ी गलती मैनें ये की है कि अपने गांव की शांति छोड़कर, शहर के दिखावेपन, भीड़ और शोर शराबे के बीच, अपने पापा से लड़ झगड़कर जबरदस्ती घर बनवा लिया।
