One thing that I missed in the video is that, the file viewer is not compatible with SharePoint mobile app and it just shows the link to the file. This to me is a deal breaker.

Thanks for the informative video, am liking and subscribing to your page. My question is is there any way to add dashboard that would read from excel file in the sharepoint or on Microsoft Teams. Like automated update of the dashboard in real time as per the excel sheet is updated?
I tried Quick Chart. Quick Chart has a limitation that it needs data for display in numeric format only. So if your list doesn't have numbers it won't even show up in the available list. It won't display any counts of repeated texts in columns. Is there any other alternative to quick chart or file view which is completely online?

There are many ways to do that. I personally go for Powerapps and show the consolidated result in Powerapps webpart.
