- This is the backstage footage preceding Robert Smith and Simon Gallup having their makeup done for MTV Unplugged. It includes Porl's makeup, Mishi asking for Robert's electric razor so Teddy can have a shave, and Simon looking through Bill's address book while Teddy shaves. Also Teddy playing a cool pipe thing.
Taken from the UK version of the Play Out VHS.

This had to be long ago, probably in the 1980's. No one was on their phones, and No one fears the camera, as we do today, unless we are perfection deluxe or put on a good filter. LOL No one pours through their address book on video these days, nor should they! This old footage is very authentic and heart warming. If anyone knows the name of the beautician, please let us know, I would love to see what she looks like in this day and age, too! Fun little video to watch.

I had a dream about Porl 2 nights ago after looking at photos of The Cure where they were all sitting outside & He was in front lounging on a chair & they were all looking very happy. The dream was : He was leaning against the wall outside as if waiting for someone & I saw him when exiting the Santandar Bank in Downtown Pawtucket, RI & I said Hello Porl, How Are You Doing ? & He Said : Ay There, Ow Ah Yow ! I said I'm Good, just getting some $ from the bank & I was thinking- Is Robert actually in there, bc I didn't see him or any one else from the band either. Then I woke up. I've never dreampt about any band member before, just Johnny Depp & briefly, but yrs. ago, before he was in The Hollywood Vampires. But These Guys (The Cure) Are The Most Coolist & Sexiest Guys In Any Band Ever ! I Would Love To Sit, Have Cocktails & Eat Dinner w/Them & Just Shoot The Shit/ Talk About Music & Ideas w/Them & Have Some Laughs. I Would Also Love Them To Bring Their Wives/ Significant Others Along Too. We'd Av A Smashing Good Time !🍺🍷🤔🎵🍣🥔🥗🍆🍛🥘😊

"I was so impressed I bought the company". It's a reference to Victor Kiam who owned the Remington shaver company and appeared in an advert saying that very phrase.
