You were correct in your comment about their vehicles and despite their drivel about a right to privacy there has been legal precedent set since at least the mid 1980's which clearly states that a vehicle on a public road, including the interior of that vehicle, is a public place. That is the reason that Police can photograph the interior of a car with a speed camera device and look inside through the windows without breaching privacy legislation.

They both expected you to fold under their threats and intimidation and when you told them to "bugger off" he nearly came back to engage further but caught himself just in time and said you weren't polite. After all that all he could up with was you being impolite, oh dear. I noticed they left you alone while you were flying your drone, so obviously being rude to a rozzer holds more of a threat.😭

Common people that work the land and have no title and were to be considered slaves to the kings and queens. Those in parliament used to own the serfs to work on their land; like Oliver Cromwell, why he fought for the common man against the king. The king used to believe he could do anything he liked because the first king claimed the land as their own. magna charta created the first legal document that prevented the king from abusing their powers against the people, and it still exists today.

The most disturbing part of the interaction is the fact that the inspector assumes that you were trying to get a rise out of him and also that you must be up to no good because you’ve asserted your right to be anonymous. No sense of objectivity. The sergeants knowledge of what is private is laughable. These two fools probably spend our tax £s harassing the public and letting criminals have a good time breaking the law.

They know how they behave & work is often unfair and problematic, filled with errors in critical thinking and using their subjective opinions to make many peoples lives worse. And that's why they don't want their cars on video, because they fear retaliation. But if you've done nothing wrong why would you fear retaliation? Instead they try to dance around it and spew nonsense about privacy getting to work.
