If he was blindside I'd understand your point, but he's not. He just has an unnecessarily long tractor. It's harder for him to turn a street corner than it is to back up.
Wrong. This is super easy. I can back up running gear behind a trailer indefinitely. Why did he pull forward twice? Because he didn't start to straighten his wheels soon enough.

I am a truck driver and just cause he can park his truck with all the room in the world not to mess up don’t mean shit. At any truck stop he’s the guy your waiting on 30 minutes to park because his truck is to big for the spot
Lots of silly banter here about this driver parking his truck. Agreed it's a standard practice but I'm always impressed by the skill of these drivers. It's not something to be laughed at, they are some of the best drivers on the road. BTW , I only drive a car.
DEFINATELY NOT ‘jackknifing’ in the normal sense. I call it a “90 deg backing into a parking space”. Actually the circumstances DON’T get any better than this...although it’s tight. NOT too tough...
Can we all just say good job for once and applaud the man for getting into the space without hitting anything or anybody 🙏🏿...everything is not an competition 💯
I ran warehouses in NY, seen thousands of trucks coming into docks. I cant tell by everything this guy did, he more than knows the proper way to slip into a spot like that. To all that think its easy or could do better, you are idiots, only the crickets are listening to you. Maneuvering a rig isn't a frigging game, or a pissing contest. This driver was safe, didn't hit anything, and in a couple smooth swings. Hats off to yellow rig driver.
Depends on the turning radius of the truck you're driving though too. A long nose pete like this video it's a pain in the ass, a short nose Volvo no problem at all.
I wasn't going to comment but this idjitt got my goat. He knows nothing about trucking skills and just calls anyone more skilled than this driver an idiot. First of all, if you view the video again, this clown needed 2 spotters to assist him who probably never drove a large truck before. Not only that but I've seen untrained warehouse personnel put trailers into spots that trained and skilled drivers cannot.
It maybe commonplace when you're an owner operator for 30 years as my dad was, but for the vast majority of people this is quite impressive, especially for someone that doesn't have a CDL license. I'm a Class A CDL myself and I drive the salt shakers for State highways I am still quite impressed when someone puts a 53 footer in like that. It takes some skill and a lot of practice. Kudos to the drivers that keep the goods moving for us every day.
Just because somone has a 10,000 square foot home doesn't it its,a mansion if its falling apart. What a man is comfortable with is,all its needed to vsll your home, castle or mansion.

I don't drive rigs but always happy to see a good driver. I do small time deliveries with a truck and had to back down a 100 plus foot alley with sports team buses on both sides the other day, coaches turned around and said that was slick, nice to hear every so often, makes ya smile.
I love how people trash talk about how "easy this is to do". I have a 24ft enclosed trailer and I always tell my friends alright it's easy? You back it up! :)

Yep!!! I remember those good old days. Great video! Thanks for posting them. I drove OTR for 15 yrs. Then, I drove for Marathon Canton Ohio for 10 yrs. Awesome collection of videos. Keep up the great work.
You can clearly recognize a trucker from a 4 wheeler when they comment saying what's the big deal, that looks easy, 1st the trailer may be 53" but the total length far exceeds 73" and if you drive standard equipment, you know that bigger or longer wheel based trucks don't have the luxury of shorter wheel based trucks when backing into docks or truck parking, this style truck would never be able to back into the Flying J in Dallas, there isn't enough room for him to maneuver period, but in this scenario, he had room in front of him, but backing is what separate the boys from the men, or girls from the women, as a trainer you have no idea how many cocky students used to backing daddies 10" trailer connected to a crew cab pickup, quickly realize that out here there is little room for error. 2nd it was amazing to watch him back into that spot because you rarely see these units parked at truck stops, rest assure he won't be there over night considering his nose is going to stick out more, hence making it a easy target for new drivers coming in to shutdown for the night. 3rd 90° plus angles in trucking is basically considered jackknifing when backing people and if you can do this in your sleep, I don't want to be the truck parked next to you when you setup for your spot, bottom line it is no easy task ever, everyday is a different day..
Why is everyone like *Oh try that when you’re tired* *Try that when the truck stop is packed* *Try that when you have no spotter* He did a grand job...Christ
You hit the nail on the head you got that right you sure got that right I'm a professional driver even though I could do it ...I won't do it especially in a packed truck stop when your tired not worth it to me ....
Because this wasn’t a challenging back. He has plenty of room in the width of the space as well as length to maneuver in. But I get where you’re coming from.
Now this my friends is a truck driver, he knows what the hell he is doing. I'll tell you right now he didn't come from the Swift school of screwups. Bravo driver, job well done.
Fantastic looking truck! How on earth these drivers back them up like that amazes me. Yes, I know they've been doing it for years, have rear cameras, big mirrors, and maybe even sonar/radar for all I know, but it's still very cool.
Sign in Here This isn’t even impressive. The driver had loads of room and plenty of spotters. The more impressive thing would’ve been if they couldn’t do this.
Drove a freightliner for about 10 years i would see this as a piece of cake.. now that i bought my dream truck a Peterbilt 389 300 inch wheel base and its a whole different ball game... visibility, spread axles, turn radius you better know what you're doing... there's a reason why only experienced drivers drive long nose W9s or Petes
I imagine you regret buying a truck that long sometimes. Other than bragging rights they are terrible business decisions. You’re not getting any higher paying freight because you drive a fancy truck.
Being up retired trucker myself I'm driving over the road and others I started small then work my way up I miss it I'm too crippled now today get back in it not too old banged up too much need surgery but this is so much fun to watch he did it so gracefully elegant was such a big rig and he did it with a blind spot and his passenger mirror he only was able to use the driver's mirror while backing up and he did everything perfectly nice job
I am a truck driver and I gotta say, he did a pretty damn good job backing in that spot. Especially considering a dodge ram with a camera was in the way.
I have enormous respect for truck drivers, man. Some of the precise maneuvers they can do with those giant vehicles are like an art form. And if car drivers treated big trucks like trucks instead of treating them like cars we'd have far fewer big truck wrecks.
Thank you! I've been driving for 40 yrs & needless to say it's a challenge, especially today when the people I've got too share the road with are to busy looking @ there phones! 🤣🤣🤣. Greg
I'm a logger not a trucker but we here quote Charlie Brown "until it's demonstrated one forgets the very real difference between a merelycompetent amatuer and a very expert professional".
I always thought that was called a "Jack and Chase". A true Jacknife dock is when there isn't enough room to get the tractor trailer straight so you back in and leave the tractor at a 90 degree angle. That's what I learned anyway. Flame on!!
Same here. Used to blindside jacknife into the dock every day at the plant company I drove for. Single dock set in a hole. Used to scare the crap out of highway drivers who never used reverse...
Well I kinda laughed reading comments. You can tell most have never backed a spread axle trailer in their life. 53 foot spread and looks like about a 280 maybe 300 inch wheelbase tractor. Oh the comment about truck driving jobs in America, there sure are but they don't pay for crap. Most union jobs are history. As far as the big yellow truck, well you are looking at a mans dream. Worked a lot of years before he could own something like this. My hats off to him or her could be a her. Years ago I saw a lady that ran out of CA with a Kenworth conventional painted like a leopard (animal in Africa) now that woman could drive! As for the one person remark about this equipment well apparently that person probably only drove company equipment so I will let it drop right there. That person would never understand even if I told them. It would be my guess the person behind the wheel of this unit is a business person, driver and does have their head in the game. Trucking in this country, for the owner operator has really been tough. They get no help from anyone, states target them for fines and really the Federal Government does not want you in business any way. Me the feds took me out of business long ago when they started hooking things up to the computer, databases, fuel databases. The government just knew I could not legally log it time wise anyway. Sold out and did something else for a living. I will say this, when you go to your grocery store look at the produce at Walmart. It has been beat up in a truck. Is it all the drivers fault? Not really, that is what is up with the long wheel base tractor, spread axle trailer and it is all on air ride. Not all air rides are the same. The good riding air rides get cashey. When you can haul eggs from Esterville, IA to LA and never break an egg that says something. Produce hauling is an art to because more often that not you have different produce in the trailer, all need special handling. Reefer business is different and is a lot of stress and hours (if you are good at it, it is). Maybe some of the old timers are still around they may remember my truck, on the bug shield was painted Phantom 309, Black RW600 Superliner with that V4 motor in it. Anyway that is what I told Steve (state trooper in Utah) that clocked me going up hill when I was dino testing the engine. I know, he did not believe it was a V4 either. LOL Someone asked the cost. Well I have not kept up to date on prices but the tractor about $160,000, and the trailer I would guess be close to $80,000.00 or $90,000.00. Then they want you to run for $.2.00 a mile. Just don't work on paper let alone in real life. Fuel alone will run about $.70 to $.75 per mile insurance, $2 million public liability, lic plates and permits. The EPA regs for the engines WOW, and they have the engines so screwed up they don't perform like the old ones did. For example the 3 sisters in WY, loaded with my truck I could gain speed going up hill. New ones nope, they be water wagons!
V4? 8V92 maybe...? There have not been any V4s in a LONG time. Owner Operators have it rough yes but if you want to make it you can. Step deck/grain/van etc you cant make it no doubt. RGN is still a decent living however just high cost to get into. Your old truck can outpull new? My 600hp C16 would like a word with you as well as the 600 ISX.
Brett, The V4 statement was told to a Utah State Trooper when he had stopped me for speeding. Had to think of something, 83 in a 55 going uphill loaded. 20 over posted is reckless driving, go to jail or used to be.The engine is not on the road anymore. As well as the Cat 3408, Cat 1693, Mack E9 (which I had) and the KTA Cummins. These were all big cube engines and they would pull pretty good. Tell you what, take your C16 loaded and pull Donner no cheating but see if it will climb Donner at 55 MPH from the bottom clear to the rest area on top going east. If your C16 can run 55 MPH all the way to top loaded without getting off of 55 MPH then I will tell you you have a true 500 horses to the ground. This test is also hard on tires by the way. Give it a try and let me know. The 3 sisters in Wy I could gain speed going uphill when I got the switch out. Didn't drive it like that at all but one of those Cat boys was really sure he did have the big Kitty. Roy had a Cat 3408 and he and I ran together a few times they were pretty well matched except I got better fuel mileage. Sammy had a 1693 Cat and that engine was a pretty good match also. Just between you and me I liked the Cat 1693 but you can't buy any of them any more.
***** you can get a pretty good idea of how much horsepower you can put out if you know the static drag, weight, accurate speed and time and or elevation change. Most dynos calculate a spinning drum, if you know the variables, you just plug them in.
The comments are basically a bunch of people butthurt that their truck isn't that nice, and taking frivolous cuts at the skill of this driver because of it. Don't bother reading further.
Slade S YOu ever try it boy? Backing one in alongside ones just as beautiful.. and not touch anything but your own brakes..I doubt you even KNOW what it takes.
Tis the skills that I speak of... there are a rare few that can do this...and ones who do not know are the ones who speak so.. lightly, shall we say, of it.. so be it.
I'm not a semi truck driver, never driven one I just felt like this would be a lot harder to do than a pickup. I do however know how to drive with a long bed dually and a long trailer pretty well. Are you saying this is easier than driving a pickup truck and trailer?
My name this is easier than backing up a pick up truck with a trailer. i have a class A license and work as a heavy deisel technician. while this guy backed this trailer up very well it is not as hard as you might think to do this. if you drive a pick up truck and trailer with some practice you could do this exact samething after a couple hours
My name Yes, this is easier. The longer trailer is easier to control because it turns slower. I'm a spotter and back in 53' trailers up to 100 times a night or more. But when I hook up to a 35' i have to go a little slower because It's so much smaller it shifts faster and makes the corections harder. With that being said, this guy still did a good job.
That Pete isn't the easiest thing to put into a spot, you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Find me someone who can put that truck in without pulling forward and the drivers on both sides of him are gonna be complaining about the damage to the trailers. Go back to your regular RUclips viewing, you don't belong in this section.
Malarm666 Well as a truck driver of 20 years and having put my truck in near impossible spots (see my vids) while moving people, I'm fairly sure I'm more qualified than YOU to judge
mrstuperstefan The video does not ask you to be impressed. Lighten up a bit chief. We have all seen better drivers pull off better moves without trashing their equipment, but saying you are more qualified because you do it in a C.O.E. does not sell your skill, it just means you use an easier tool for the trade.
This is just one of those "under-appreciated" skills. I'm studying to get my cdl and I can't WAIT to start driving truck. But this makes me a little nervous.
When I was in college I applied to the USPO to drive a mail truck. The qualifying exam required backing a large mail truck into a close space in a USPO garage. I succeeded and got the job. YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT WHAT THIS DRIVER DID WAS A WHOLE NEW SKILL LEVEL. It takes years of on-road experience to even consider that parking space. Sanjosemike (no longer in CA)
Really? I pull 40 foot trailers and I find the smaller duppy trailers turn too fast! I'm 25 years hgv and I hate parking up! I know it's my one weakness, but I'm not scared to ask for help!
Or one of those dollies used for pulling doubles. Wheeee, lots of fun trying to back those things in a straight line, let alone off to the side or something.
lol I think it's funny people saying it's easy I would agree if it was a regular sleeper with a 53' foot trailer but it's not and anybody take the time to think that he didn't ask for spotter maybe they just wanted to help or they own the 2 trucks he is trying to park between and they don't want to get hit by I've got out my truck to help but that's just me I guess im not a super trucker I have no problem asking for help or helping
+kawasakiryder zx10 Good that you're a decent person. So many of the videos about truck parking here on RUclips are done from the cab with people watching and criticizing other truckers park or hit other trucks or lose their load without them getting out to help the other guy, just sit their and watch it happen. Nice there are still good people like you out there.
07 Busa I ask also and G.O.A.L. A LOT lol I tell people I am an ok trucker cause I don't know everything and I never will. I am not a super trucker either. Though I do have to say i am a million mile plus driver and hafter 11 years had my first accident at the beginning of the month. I was rear ended by a guy doing 80 in a 65 zone, I was slowing down because of debris in the road. I was lucky he hit me full on the left door hinges and my truck and trailer stayed true and straight. It didn't jack knife.
he wasnt on the blind side, and he had a spotter, and he pulled up 3 times... Nothing wrong with any of that at all!!! Yellow/polished peterbuilt with matching trailer is pure SEXY ON WHEELS! Somebody REALLY hates there wife!
When you have the room to work with, the longer the trailer, the easier the back. People who have never backed, don't understand that. Can't believe this guy needed a pullup ;) j/k, it was a good job
This isn’t a standard truck. Look how extended the frame is from the rear axle to the cab. He has much more swing room to jack knife than a regular sleeper. That truck is way longer and it helps with the parking. Still a talent is required
Poor... Lmao that civic you spoke up made 600whp back in the day when I was a kid.. I probably have more vehicles than you pulse a 1/4 million dollar house with my own business... Therefore go fuck you're self.. And practice backing up your boat! 😉
Just another day in the office. I don't see something that special in this video more then enough space for this truck to park. Today I drove fruits and the local dutch farm roads are very small and the famrs dont have much pace for the 16.5 meter trailers. So I needed todrive backwards into the gate from the raod which is 4 meters wide. And then around the sheds which is in my blind spot. And I need to look out for car trailers boxes pallets etc :P So much more challeging then this video :) But the yellow truck looks nice! :)
agreed. ive had to drive backwards through a parking lot with cars. btw don't forget the people you have to dodge too. thinking you can see it all lol.
yea even here in the US it's part of the driving test, and every time you pull forward you lose points! You also have to back the trailer in a spot that's only 10 foot longer than the trailer itself so you have to get it in with the truck at a 90 degree angle. Touching any of the cones or touching the curb is an automatic fail!
I agree when I was a boy I used to drive a 2000 horsepower truck with a red hot rod for a steering wheel while sitting on a six inch nail. My trailer was the length of Britain and as wide as a tennis court the roads were 2 meters wide in those days I would do a full 7 days without any sleep and then have to revers my truck into a dolls house without any wing mirrors but did I show off on RUclips to impress everyone? noooo not I! lol :)
castirondude Actually, in Ohio, you lose points after your second pull up. Also, Yes, your auto fail statements are right on the money. You are allowed to get out and look twice and after that, you fail. Any time you can get in and not hit anything or anyone is a job WELL DONE. I was very anal on technique and safety when I taught drivers at Schneider.

David V I hear ya brother... I've had my 53' reefer in more 48' docks than I care to remember. A lot of docks in the NE were made for 30' trailers or straight trucks back in the day before the 53' trailers were even thought of.

A real professional backs up in one go. Period.
Lots of silly banter here about this driver parking his truck. Agreed it's a standard practice but I'm always impressed by the skill of these drivers. It's not something to be laughed at, they are some of the best drivers on the road.
BTW , I only drive a car.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a message Tony

Thank you for your appreciation
If you own a rig like this you better be able to drive.
Totally agree
@larry ballard Or on the end of the aisle as well.
Maybe you better look up what jackknifing means.
Lol.....definitely not a JK.
For a bumoer pull that would be considered jackknifing, but for a fifth wheel, it's not jackknifed until the trailer takes out the cab
We call it backing in blind into the hole.
Paul Smith this is dog legged not blindside...
Especially how far his trailer is out from his tractor and he has a longer wheel base anyway. So yeah he's got to ha a little more room.
What are you so mad for?
Depends on the turning radius of the truck you're driving though too. A long nose pete like this video it's a pain in the ass, a short nose Volvo no problem at all.
Bronx market first row back in 2007 lol
@Hello James how are you doing
Im not a,trucker but damn thats a beautiful trailer and truck. I would, love to turn that into my movable mansion.
Temujin Khan 53'long 8'6" wide and 10' tall is a mansion ???? Lol
Just because somone has a 10,000 square foot home doesn't it its,a mansion if its falling apart.
What a man is comfortable with is,all its needed to vsll your home, castle or mansion.
craig la refers and vans are all roughly
13'6" not 10'.
DJ Miell 13'6 is the height from the ground your legally allowed to tow without an oversized load ....the 10 feet I was referring too was the interior of the box
Until you gotta fuel up
I don't drive rigs but always happy to see a good driver.
True. It's easy until you are in the seat
that shit is so easy to do man. i can do it in my sleep
Anyone can do it in their sleep. It's waking up and actually getting behind the wheel without using Vaseline to grease it into the slot.
Whats up Dude no one said anything about it being easy if it was easy this video would never have been taken.
It is easy. Jackknifing a 20' pup is hard. Size actually does matter.

Cool post, thanks for the info.
i still have problems with my SUV and a camping trailer :)

Why is everyone like
*Oh try that when you’re tired*
*Try that when the truck stop is packed*
*Try that when you have no spotter*
He did a grand job...Christ
Probably because they make it sound like he did something that was absolutely amazing and hard to do
You hit the nail on the head you got that right you sure got that right I'm a professional driver even though I could do it ...I won't do it especially in a packed truck stop when your tired not worth it to me ....
Christ did do a grand job...let us repent and follow Him and his example as we look to the end of this wicked world...
Rider 71 love this
Because this wasn’t a challenging back. He has plenty of room in the width of the space as well as length to maneuver in. But I get where you’re coming from.
Extended frame 379 and a spread axle? Damn nice job. I've seen day cabs take 20 mins to back in.
caliarmyguy you should have let a professional back your day cab in for you then.
Now this my friends is a truck driver, he knows what the hell he is doing.
I'll tell you right now he didn't come from the Swift school of screwups.

What a sweet looking truck. What a chassis, my dear buddy.
Great job! It would be even better if the guy had a big Yellow Submarine painted on the side of his dry van with the four Beatles underneath it.
I'm in CDL school and that was one magnificent job of parking that trailer in the hole. Like a fine ballet. Bravo!
Fantastic looking truck! How on earth these drivers back them up like that amazes me. Yes, I know they've been doing it for years, have rear cameras, big mirrors, and maybe even sonar/radar for all I know, but it's still very cool.
Sign in Here no cameras.
Sign in Here This isn’t even impressive. The driver had loads of room and plenty of spotters. The more impressive thing would’ve been if they couldn’t do this.
This is not jackknifing dat is a flawless victory💯
Always an impatient BMW trying to get by when trying to back a trailer in anywhere😂
Not sure what your talking about, the car waited patiently and slowly went by in front of the truck.
A man told me just today."man I'm glad you're back in that thing". I says, trainin.
I am a truck driver and I gotta say, he did a pretty damn good job backing in that spot. Especially considering a dodge ram with a camera was in the way.
I thought I was a bloody good driver, but I take my hat off to you sir. Congratulations on a near perfect maneuver

LOL
Someone asked the cost.
Brett,
The V4 statement was told to a Utah State Trooper when he had stopped me for speeding.
It's a beautiful truck but there is nothing spectacular about the driving in this video.

YOu ever try it boy? Backing one in alongside ones just as beautiful.. and not touch anything but your own brakes..I doubt you even KNOW what it takes.
Tis the skills that I speak of... there are a rare few that can do this...and ones who do not know are the ones who speak so.. lightly, shall we say, of it.. so be it.
Sir Trews "there are a rare few that can do this" your kidding right ?
they just need to move on
Guy who was guiding him at first cracked me up. Driver isn’t even halfway done and the guide is thinking ‘oh yeah, he’s got this’ and walks off.
Lol most people can't even drive with a pick up truck and a trailer but they are saying they can do this, lol yeah okay!
the longer the wheelbase the easier it is to handle ;) I'm a truck mechanic from EU and do this almost every day with another truck.
What they mean is they can crash this and have a tow truck deliver their load in no time.
Roger ?!? is that you ?
Wow. A truck driver doing his job. Maybe if he didn't have to adjust several times I would have been impressed
Towndrunk26er All I said was that it was a pretty standard parking job.

Great parking job and a very good looking truck. Takes pride in his machine and his skill.

My trailer was the length of Britain and as wide as a tennis court the roads were 2 meters wide in those days I would do a full 7 days without any sleep and then have to revers my truck into a dolls house without any wing mirrors but did I show off on RUclips to impress everyone? noooo not I! lol :)
castirondude
Actually, in Ohio, you lose points after your second pull up. Also, Yes, your auto fail statements are right on the money. You are allowed to get out and look twice and after that, you fail. Any time you can get in and not hit anything or anyone is a job WELL DONE. I was very anal on technique and safety when I taught drivers at Schneider.

Saw the axles bust on a spread before with a guy trying to spin it like that. He was loaded though.
Perfect! He made two little mistakes, and the corrections didn't interfere with his progress. That's how to back. You don't need to be perfect every time.
Its called alley docking not jack knifing jack knifing is unintentional and means the cab and trailer are touching
Ok, now try blind side parallel parking on a busy road in Jersey at 5pm on the Friday before Memorial Day, and you only get one pull up. My kid could have parked the damn truck with 3 pull ups.
yeah not all that impressive
Agree..this is a walk in the park,no blind side, plenty of room no pedestrians or traffic!
Been there and done that ...city driver FEDEX Multi Modal
Dude had at least 2 spotters too lol. Only thing he was missing was a helicopter lifting his truck into place.

I hear ya brother... I've had my 53' reefer in more 48' docks than I care to remember. A lot of docks in the NE were made for 30' trailers or straight trucks back in the day before the 53' trailers were even thought of.
Amen
I love how everyone says it's easy, but I can damn well guarantee the people who say that can't even back a camping trailer.
I love doing this at work. Favorite part of my job is parking trailers in the yard. 28’ Trailers are challenging sometimes, but I’m pretty good at it.
He’s also looking out his rear window too.
That's how those with longer frames do it...if they have rear windows
Lol
As for driver pro jacking it in there, pretty ordinary at best amongst his brethren truckies & closer to the white rig than necessary . Barely worth watching for many . A total education for the unitiated.
It is better to get as close to the truck you can see and as far away from the truck you can't see, things can always be tidied up once in the slot.

So true, still the feller sayin pro driver its like no big trade off on driver quality to stick a trailer in a hole. Like you sorta indicate its just ho-humm the way its done.
Amazing skills, i can't park my car sometimes, and he does this..
You see he had no problem opening that door to make sure of having a better look. one goes above and beyond what others may think is needed. that is the way to go
Everyone on here talking shit about this guy has never drove or been in a truck! you people are just fucking haters this particular traile with a spread is THE HARDEST to back and the guy spoting is on the driver side where he is NOT NEEDED but all you truckers sure caught that didn't you! Whoever is driving good job driver dam good job. I'm gone! catch ya on the flip.
Semi trailer is the easiest trailer to back.
+scanjett its pretty clear you never been in a truck you see the 2 axles on the trailer? notice there far apart from each other that right there makes the trailer NOT want to dog track!! these type of trailer IS the hardest to back just ask any professional driver.
+Wade Willson well didn't notice that
+scanjett oh yea they are a pain. this guy did good though.
+scanjett oh yea they are a pain. this guy did good though.
What makes this so cool, that is a nice custom rig, not some shitty mass fleet thing you dont give a fuck about it you hit something.
I would like to see you try that. its pretty fucking hard
Never said i could do it.
***** Post a video to show us your skills.
***** Thank you for your comment. It seems some of these younger people don't have the experience that we older guys have.
Fatdaddy Hey I am 30 and have been driving for teamsters local 399 since I was 18. We are stuido/motion picture drivers. We are constantly having to park our equipment in tight random places. Although I will have to say that most of the members of my local have no business in having a CDL.
Fun fact: every other truck you see there did the same exact thing
I have waited longer for trucks to park when they are the only truck in the lot. I don't drive myself, but this does make it look pretty easy. If I ever end up needing something shipped, this is the kind of driver I want.
That truck is gorgeous. I wonder how much it is worth.
new trucks like that start at $155000 and then all the custom work he did to it i am pretty sure it was more then $20000
DEJAN MUSIC If this setup truck + trailer bran new, it will cost at least $250,000
''jackknifeing'' is when your trailer outruns your truck.........
that was just backing into a parking space
If you want to stretch the wheel base, you best get your backing skill honed.
shorter trailer is harder too. Try an M-151 jeep with a M-416 trailer sometime !
Sweeet! I dreamt of a Semi exactly like this, yellow and Chrome, since I was 13y.o.
Now 53 and just about to get started in the industry. She will be mine soon.
