Once again so many things wrong on this episode. Lowboy operator doesn’t belong on the road. All that dirt and rocks on the low bed and on the tracks!Who wants to follow this guy going down the road?? NOT ME! Why didn’t he lift the bed to start with he obviously he doesn’t even know what he’s doing. At 12 minutes. He’s backing up with the bed lifted with the brakes on. I wouldn’t want him driving my fleet vehicles.
That driver had no clue about anything! That should have been a 5 minute, hop out and raise the deck. He had a tridem ffs. Let’s not even start on the rocks and dirt!
Correct my error, but with three axles, were they not on AIR RIDES? why not raise the chassis and thus lift the goose neck!! I don't understand. That front fender is resting on the tire...meaning the chassis is low.
What the hell is all that dirt on the deck of the trailer about ,,,,,,this where a trooper should write a big ticket,,,,,,,we sweep our decks off every time,,,,,,
Exactly: 'Non Ground Contact' style so simply pull on them leeevers there and raise 'er up. Also doesn't flatbed guy have a winch? Or at least a 'Matt's Off Road Recovery' rope, instead of a decrepit old chain?
I came upon a situation similar to this but it was a single lane dirt road at an intersection and on a side hill, trailer was hung up, and tractor spun out….hauling a Komatsu PC200…..since I operate equipment I had him just stay put…and hopped in the machine and swung the bucket into the lower ditch for a bit of leverage and a push….it wasn’t enough…so we unchained and I drove it off the high side…truck was free to move, backed up to the flat in the intersection and reloaded….probably 25 mins. in all….he was tickled….no tow call, or drama….and if I recall no traffic either…
I run a Hydraulic RGN lowboy, I have steel plates that I can raise the deck if I need to get more ground clearance. This guy has " business being in a lowboy in my eyes, all that dirt what a shame....
That was painful to watch all the way through. Empty roll back on wet pavement equals no traction. It was of no use. Roll back driver hooking up j hooks to rear cross member of tractor...good thing they slipped off the rollback the first try. On the next try, I expected rollback to do a running start and rip the cross member off or snap the chains. Unchained dozer and moved it to transfer some weight. Wet trailer floor on an incline, luckily it didn't slide off. Finally someone must of told driver that the trailer is hydraulic and able to lift itself. Now trailer is no longer stuck. Driver backs up with parking brakes set...that was all the groaning noise. Once again, expected dozer to unload itself. Hopefully a lot of lessons were learned...lucky no one got hurt and no equipment destroyed.
@@celtisafricana4984 WTF has explosive targets got to do with raising the hydraulics on the trailer and swing wide to turn the corner before this shit show? Or you just stupid to?
I have to assume the rocks and dirt on the deck is from tight corners with raised roadside/bank. I have a D6 to move this coming week in the mountains that I'll run turns so tight the rear tires will go off and free wheel.
That’s a Low Bed or as some people call them Low Boy trailer. These trailers are not capable of climbing or descending steep roads (unless gradual) The D6 weighs close to 78k pounds, so it needs to be transported close to ground level by a heavy spec trailer like a Low Bed or Landoll
The Low deck Driver should had the tracks cleaned before going on the highway.. it would not be good ..if the rocks came off the trailer.. and kill someone.. It look like the trailer was full of dirt and rocks .. it wouldn't come from getting stuck on the shoulder of the road ..

The low loader driver is obviously a novice and should not be out alone. Dozer driver is irresponsible about the hazard to others of not cleaning off loose dirt and rocks. Rollback guy is old enough to know better than try 2 narrow hooks on a truck crossmember. Luckily he never got the traction to do any damage. No attempt to clear the "speed hump" of dirt they left for others to find in the dark or the 2 loose rocks and loose chain on the deck.
