Took me a while to realize it was coffee messing up my digestion and sleep. 2 weeks off of it and already feeling better. Thanks for the coffee alternative suggestions, Dandy Blend looks good!
DANDY BLEND IS THE BEST!!!! I drink it in the afternoon and evening when I want a coffee. So good with plant milk & ice. I get the organic bag. It taste like coffee but better somehow. Seriously can't say enough about it.
Thank you for this video, you are amazing! 💙 However, there is one more important thing that actually most people don't know. There are two types of coffee (actually species of a coffee plant), "arabica" and "robusta". What is typically served as Italian coffee or "American style" black coffee is mostly robusta, which has 2-3x more caffeine than 100% arabica! Arabica is also more expensive and generally considered "superior" to robusta because of its mild taste. For me, switching from bitter dark-roast robusta to 100% arabica made a HUGE difference. No side effects, I feel just mildly energized and unless I drink more than 2 cups late in the day, I sleep like a baby. So if you are a coffee lover - like me - it might be good to know and try ☺️.
Thanks Crystal. Caffeine, especially from tea make my breasts fill with fibroid cyst’s. It is very painful. Thankfully many years ago I had a doctor suggest I stop drinking tea and within a week the pain and hard cyst’s were gone. Now I know if I have caffeinated tea to expect pain for a few days.
Thanks for your comment Cindy! That is great to know and I am glad you are feeling better now. I am sure others have the same issue and can relate too.
I've been trying to break up with coffee for a long time. I've been tapering off this week bc I am off from work & I rely on a morning coffee & an afternoon coffee when I work. Great video Crystal.
Thanks Mel! Slowly tapering is a great way to decrease intake, but can be hard. I am happy to hear you are trying it this week while off work. That's a great time to do it! I've mixed decaf in with regular coffee (called a half caff) and it can help a lot as you slowly add more decaf and less regular too :)
Where can I find more information about your tips for iron-anemic prone individuals? I'm curious as to why it's better to have caffeine with a small snack rather than with a meal? By the way, your channel is SO INFORMATIVE. I'm very very happy to have found it!
I see what you did there😂 I literally just got into my room with a cup, went into RUclips app, and seen your video. I am trying for dear life to quit the coffee. Go to the gym, and balance out my hormones. I get down to two cups a day, and then relapse back to four to five😭and I know my brain is hooked on the antioxidants, too.
My relationship with coffee is like a bad marriage. I love it but it hates me and makes me feel like crap. I want a divorce but I don’t have it in me to leave...
I used to feel the same way. I used to feel like trash entire day. Till two months back, I left it for good and I got my life back.. I feel ten years younger now. Wonder how was an innocent mug of coffee doing that to me!
Hey Crystal, thanks for the video. I thought you might mention the connection between caffeine and monthly or cyclic breast pain. It affects a lot of women and some are completely unaware that the coffee could be causing it.
Good catch! I did mention it in the video but it was typed out! As I was talking about other symptoms I (somehow??) forgot to say it causes cyclical breast pain while I was filming!!! so I had to type it out and add it on screen while editing lol thank you for highlighting it here in the comments though! It is such a common issue so many people experience.
Very good video- once again!🤩 I used to drink way too many energy drinks during a certain period of my teenage years🤦🏼♀️ Now I think they‘re gross🤢 I do enjoy my daily cup of black coffee for breakfast☕️ Also I sometimes treat myself with a nice almond milk cappucchino when I‘m out in a nice cafe 😊 Anyway, I drink it for taste primarily🤗 Also, I keep daytime in mind and do Not drink caffeinated things after 4pm, to make sure I can sleep well😴
This was sooo great!! Thank you!!! Do you think adding things to coffee like a full fat unsweetened coconut milk or oat milk (or even cream) would help the blood sugar thing? As long as there is no added sugar of course...
That is a great question! I would say it might help a little bit but think of how little milk most people add to coffee. It's not much! That is why I suggest drinking it with a balanced meal or snack. But try it and see how you feel!

Thanks Amosuir for sharing. I am on day 30 without coffee. Feel better, but still has muscle pain on the should and neck.
My god. I've been dealing with shoulder and neck pains for several months but I've also been drinking the most coffee ever in life. 😐
Great video ! Caffeine makes me break out so I cut it out for clearer skin
Thank you for the information!!.
decaf still has some caffeine, I am switching to Teeccinno herbal coffee for a no-caf drink, I'm already sleeping much better
Dandy Blend has been the key for me to breakup with coffee, and my daughters love it as well.
It's amazing there is something so good like that out there!
Good video Crystal!
I loved this video, so mindfully explained!
So informative, thank you :)
I'm in a committed relationship with coffee.... but I should end it... it's not good for me 😂 thanks for the video Crystal ❤️

Why am I always tired ? What can I do them
❤❤❤
A lot of solid points but can be very misleading when trying to highlight so many variables related caffeine in one video.
Oh be quiet. It was good
