Glad to see I’m not the only one with a self-hexing honor run lol.
My last one I forgot to drop a silence spell on Priestess Gut & same thing happened. Whole camp hostile before I had even talked with the other bosses.
Shield spell is pretty awesome isn’t it?
Wizards and sorcerer can learn it, level one spell- it’s a reaction, not an action, so can block incoming damage by increasing the caster’s AC by 5. Makes the caster a lot harder to hit and immune to magic missile. My paladin-sorcerer had sky-high AC with that spell prepared.
I actually lost Lae’zel on one of my honor runs ‘cause I wasted my inspiration points on a shiny dagger stuck in some mystery meat. Changed the whole game on a crap dice roll.

@@Hollowania I kinda think that Wizards and Sorcerers should come with a “ beginners guide to…” with a list of helpful spells, with footnotes to explain arcane recovery for wizards and best practices for sorcerer’s “ create spell slots/create sorcery point” and best metamagics to use.
But yeah, Shield, Longstrider, and at a higher level Counterspell, very worthwhile additions in Gale’s prepared spell list.
… at least she ain’t dead! 😄 In that playthrough of mine, Shadowheart ruthlessly slit Lae’zel’s throat and was not at all repentant afterwards 😳
At least I didn’t have to feel guilty about siding with the Emperor, as the Prince of the Comet was no longer an issue. 😜
That guardian thing is sort of revenge for having been catfished the first time lol.
In my first playthrough if I had made my guardian a grizzled half-orc that would’ve been one thing-but no,I had to have a hot elven babe ‘cause I thought she’d be a romance option 🤣
@@wawho9645 I agree! Magic classes are so immense, a noob like me will take months to learn them. If you ever find one! Let me know!
