@@vtdave73 Hyundai sold around 35k EVs in the US for 2023. That is out of 13.5 million new cars sold in the US last year. They are not a serious player. More over their EVs are imported from Korea.
I get it, but the main concern with majority of citizens is the cost. Electric vehicles will no doubtably cost less then internal combustion vehicles. Dropping cost and maintenance is the only way moving forward to 2025. It does not have to have the features of what Tesla provides. But if ANY manufacturer can draw in consumers if the product they provide is cheap to run, you are already winning. China is already showing well known dominance in the electric vehicles space. Give what the people want world wide and that’s when you will see results

Hyundai imports their US sold EVs from Souel Korea and they only sell around 30,000. They should pay a tariff or build all of their car in the US if they want to sell here
@@joyfullife9070 No Hyundai EVs are built in the US. They are all imported. In fact, they were one of the main auto makers who lobbied for exceptions so their cars could get the $7,500 tax credit. They were able to get law makers to put in a "leasing" loophole. They have long talked about using a factory in Georgia, but have yet to actually do it and why should they, it would cost them jobs in their home country and they lose nothing by importing them.

I'm old enough to remember the Hyundai EV that was totaled for getting a scratch on the battery from road debris.
