I was at the 2017 Penn State game....whats crazy is alot of people left thinking the Bucks were going to lose, and even with thousands leaving, it was the loudest collective noise Ive ever been a part of.
2016...."The Game ", largest crowd in Ohio stadium history, to me was the loudest I've heard. I also was there in 2018 and the punt block was pretty loud as well. Both for me were pretty heart breaking and all of that was erased on 11/27/21 because I got to get on the field to celebrate with the Wolverines. Watching your fans rush the field afterwards in '16 and '18 was cool and I never thought that I would ever experience something like that either, because BRUTUS has owned the Wolverines......just not THIS YEAR!.....Great video!
This one for sure. 110,045 in attendance, and as soon as Curtis Samuel broke the goal line, all 110k in the Shoe went berserk, including me. I couldn't even talk for 2 days. Blew my voice out during that game.
@@roaddog1973 I bet!..... I also blew my voice out, and after the second interception I remember the foundation of The Shoe feeling like it was shaking. As much of a heartbreaker that game was, it was definitely one of the best games in the history of the series.
I was a few of these games but the most notable was that 2011 win vs wisconsin. The week before we beat a ranked illinois team and were sitting at 4-3. So this was a BIG game and the shoe was packed for it. Hands down that is the loudest ive heard that stadium and i was there for 2018 michigan and the comeback vs penn state. You can just hear it when a little known player named devin smith catches the go ahead TD with 25 seconds left. Also it was against russell wilson so that makes it even better in hindsight.
Ohio state USC 2009. I was 12 and remember it being so loud I swore the stadium was going to fall. Honestly at one point thought my phone was vibrating in my pocket
I was on the field for the 2011 Wisconsin game guarding an ESPN camera and when the ball was in the air you could hear a pin drop. When Devin Smith caught it you could physically feel the sound wave hit you on the field from the roar. Will never forget it.
I LOVE watching Braxton Miller! Among the Best Spin Moves in The History of CFB! The fact that he was SOOOO Underused during his Final Season at THE OSU Still Bothers me, and probably Always will.
I was there for the Wisconsin game. Devin Smith's coming out party. That plays was insane all night, during a down year. Can't imagine an undefeated season during a big play.
i think the throw to devin smith vs wisonsin is the very loudest i've ever heard it. but vs wiscy i happened to be on the short north that night at some bars and holy fuck everyone at every place went fucking NUTS. one of my favorite buckeye moments because of the moment and i got to be on scene basically :3 also ginn breaking free down the sideline should probably be on here. when he bobbled the catch initially then juked 800 defenders
i was there for that win vs wisconsin i think it was '12. loudest ive ever heard the shoe. you can hear for like 1/2 second at the end it literally overloads the mics and it rips the audio. ive been to almost every big game at home since then and only '16 vs michigan was close.
I have no idea what the problem with the audio is at the Horseshoe. It NEVER sounds as loud on TV as it does at the game. ESPECIALLY if you are sitting in the lower level ..... that's an experience that every Buckeye fan should get. I was also at that epic 2005 game. The stadium was so loud. I don't remember that particular play, I just remember our defense constantly harassing him all game, but we still lost due to inept offense. Great video! Other moments might be ..... The defense at any moment before, during, or after the snap on the final 2 drives of the 2017 Penn State comeback Any moment from 2012 Nebraska? 2009 USC?
I was also at the Penn state game 2017 and even after many fans left because a win looked impossible the crowd was still the loudest I have ever heard it in the shoe

That blocked punt gave me chills
Was at The Game in 2006 and 2016 and many other games in the Shoe. Nothing compared to 2016. It was so loud in 2OT I thought I'd lose my hearing.
I lived almost a mile west of the stadium and you could hear the crowd from my backyard

Man, I love my Buckeyes!!
I was at the Oregon game this year and the fourth quarter of that game was really loud

It makes me proud that I was at 3 of the loudest games 😭🫶🏻🙌 I promise I was screaming my head off 😭😭😭😵💫
Been to every big home game. None was as loud and rowdy as Judgement Day in 06!
What game was that 2002 Penn state is loudest
Terry Glenn against Notre Dame was the loudest I ever heard it. Second loudest was Chris Gamble’s interception return for a TD against Penn St.

Terry Glenn by far in my opinion. I understand the USC game (loss) was just as loud but I didn’t attend that onen
IDK how you dont have 2016 2OT game winner vs michigan
Great video
In 2022 Michigan finally after 3 years coming into the Shoe will be amazing if they show up.
Chills

Kenny G vs Purdue in OT.
That’s a good one. I may have to make a part 3 video featuring that.

No interception in the end zone in 02 to send OSU to the natty? Blasphemy.
It’s in a part 2 video.
