      Lol, they can handle it, they were in the area covered by brush and trash... I had never been over in that area until I cleared that land ❤️

    Snakes get my bluebird eggs frequently. This year, I'm using Repels All to see if it works. It has so far. One set of eggs hatched and fledged already. I love what you're doing! I can't wait to create a woodland garden!

      @creatingyourgarden  3 месяца назад +2

      Yeah I never even imagined a snake would eat the eggs😔 I have used repels all before, for deer and rabbit problems. Thank you for watching💕... in the winter time I'm planning on clearing a large area of land for a large Woodland Garden ☺️ I'm excited for that project

    I hope your oak leaf hydrangea perks up. I know it will be very special knowing it was from your Mom.

    Ambidextrous weeding. Makes weeds go away all around! I watched the weeding parts at 2x speed (because I don't even like to see weeding ...it reminds me of what I should be doing ...)
    The Weigela looked super.
    But obedient plant, idk... I find it isn't, ever, obedient and goes everywhere.. Your milage may vary, of course... And I hope it does. 👍

      Yeah I was going to mention that LOL my mom and dad have it all over the garden. But when I didn't have anything in bloom they had obedient everywhere and I just thought it was wonderful. I will keep it in check! And I decided to weed with two hands, I thought you guys might wonder what I was doing with my other hand not being in the frame lol I was going to edit most of the weeding out, but was told to leave it... that anyone can always fast forward through it if they want😉 thank you for watching !💕💕💕

    Very nice, just keep watering the Hydrangea daily for a week & it shud perk up. OMG I had 3 garden snakes in the last 2 weeks that I put in the street drain. I got a snake tong and catch em that way & the teeth of the tong clamps on

    • @creatingyourgarden
      @creatingyourgarden  3 месяца назад +3

      I don't know I think I would be scared to try to catch it LOL I got to pay more attention, I just couldn't wait to see the babies hatch 🥺

      I am terrified of snakes, in the last 2 years, I must have cleared at least 15. The snake tong makes me feel safe. I don't go outside without it daily. I see walmart started selling for $20. These have teeth clamps so snake can't escape until u let it go from handle. It is oneofbthe BEST purchase i ever made. Whitney Google "SNAKE TONG" & you'll see what I mean.

    It’s cool seeing you build new gardens. Gives me good motivation to keep going on mine. I was thinking you should invest in a scuffle hoe. it gets rid of those weeds so quickly! Thanks for posting!

    Your garden area is looking so pretty. You need to get one of those 'stir-up' hoes for your weeding. Quick work on the young weeds.

    wow, just came across your site, maybe because I've been wistfully watching Marvin the Gardener over in the Sherwood area of England. I'm in the black clay section of Tx in Zone 8. what zone are you planting in?

    Hi can you tell me where you purchase your trellis from?

      The obelisk? What I put around the rose? I bought that at the store called "At home"...their garden section is impeccable, it could be a store all on its own and the prices are reasonable. They have three different sizes. I think the largest size was $40 and I got the large and medium size. Medium was 20 I think small was 15
