Now that you have so many crop tiles, you should buy the seeds in bulk during the festivals, when they are on sale, instead of buying them for full price.

Maybe you could put the giant eggplant at the head of the row. So it's easier to keep track if what is ground in which aisle. Do the same for the other veggies? Save a giant pumpkin. Taxidermy it or whatever you did to your giant eggplant. Then place it so you know what is planted where. ❤❤❤

I love this LP so much! Some things that would improve the farm efficiency:
1) If you do encourage crop growth, it's basically the same as adding fertilizer, but free. Plus it they will keep autonomously doing it after the first one, like tending the garden, unlike fertilizer, which is manual for each plant
2) Installing water recyclers to all your plumbing will drastically reduce your water usage; you may not even need more dew collectors to break even on the water usage
3) Just harvest your greenhouse plants daily. Put the produce in the fridge and get a flower aranging table to store the flowers.
4) You're not getting a chance at more cowberries because you need to harvest your spliced plants daily, at a minimum.
5) Complete the new aspiration and you'll get a bill discount for living in Henford on Bagley
6) Someone suggested using bill reduction wallpaper from eco lifestyle in the greenhouse-basically the opposite of that taxed roof
7) It would be fun to put the off the grid challenge back and see if you can make enough water and electricity!

Regarding "Sucker", you can also upgrade the base and not the roomba itself. There are 2 levels of upgrade.

Ive noticed when a “holiday” is running it makes the Finchwick Fairs super buggy that’s probably why your inventory glitched. At least that’s what happens in my game.

The nanotechnics upgrade only appears on the robot vacuum after some other upgrades (and may also require a certain handiness level so Chaz may not see it). You also need to upgrade the charging base. The ground floor vacuum keeps breaking because it isn’t emptied (the upstairs robot has less to clean but will break eventually if not emptied too). One of the charging base upgrades auto incinerates the rubbish for you. After all upgrades of the base and robot Sucker the Brave should break less often but it will still break sometimes because it is vacuuming outside too hence overloading.

Yeah I also feel like he probably needs to check if he upgraded the base station fully as well. (I think he wanted to but I don't fully remember if he actually did do all the upgrades)

I am fairly sure he did the waterproof upgrade early on so it’s not that. Mine never break in the rain after that updgade.
For Cowberry plants I always go to the Spice Festival from City Living. The Spice Festival has a plant that you can harvest cowberries from. However if you take a cutting of the plant you can graft cowberries to another plant. I usually graft it to the lemon tree which grows in every season. Then the cowberries are only competing with lemons instead of competing with dragonfruit and snapdragon. the plant only has to produce 2 products instead of 3.
I've noticed that Kim doesn't like Trenton, but she likes Chaz because she always gives him the deals and not Trenton. Hazel likes Trenton, so maybe they both can get a lady friend 😅🥰
And that time she didn't give him the deals was because she was jealous

She did this huge renovation for them, after becoming so good she has several repeat clients, and Chaz asked if he could join one of her other clubs (and also invited himself to a pseudo-date with Trenton), but when she came to visit them on her own, they just handed her a key to their house and then they both ignored her lol. Of course they're busy but they're so busy they never actually used the couch she stole! Maybe she just wanted to know if they'd even notice it was missing?

"Unbreakable" in Sims 4 means the object can't break from regular use. The roomba *probably* breaks from the rain, though, hence it still breaks despite being fully upgraded.
Cats and dogs are always with orange backgrounds when there’s a thunderstorm outside because they’re stressed. There’s nothing that can be done to change it.
I always use the weather machine to clear the skies when that happens. I realize they are not real animals, but I hate for even virtual animals to be stressed lol. I wish you could get aspiration points to get rewards for pets like in Sims 3 so they wouldn’t have a negative reaction to the storms.

I think when you play in Hazel's household again the couch SHOULD be there and you can 'return stolen object' so they get it back. Hopefully.
Also, now the plants section has been expanded I'd love to see an expansion of livestock! More cows! More llamas! More chickens!
I also think that if the items are in Hazel’s inventory she can gift the items back to the one she wants to date. As if she “Stole” the items as an excuse to come by more often.
I haven’t played with a klepto in a while but unless they patched it in, when your sim steals something when you’re not playing with their household the stolen item just disappears and doesn’t show up in their household inventory
@@faith8001 I hope that since Hazel is a active household that it’s in her inventory……We need another episode of Dream Home Decorator to investigate. Also I still think it would be nice to actively take a few trinkets here and their while playing Dream Home Decorator and return then as gifts during dates. 😆

@@ThePapaya26 But he can harvest them and put them in his fridge (the food items) for cooking, canning and baking. The flowers can all be used as gifts for wild animals and fertilizer. He wouldn't be making money off them this way.

This pack has also been stealing my stuff and my friendships from people and it’s so frustrating. It deleted my best chicken friend from existence and Patchy and some items. Idk why that’s happening but they need to fix it.
They will never fix it they took your money and ran with it 😂 they never fixed dine out and it's been out for years

It only automatically cancels free will actions. So for Trenton, you told him to go on a jog and then told him to go home. If he had chosen to go on a jog on his own and then you told him to go home, that is when it would have automatically canceled the jog. But because both were instructions from you, you'd have to manually cancel the action to move on to the next. Love your videos! ❤

I think we all did! This pack is so suited to James game play style. Dr Gluon is the only other chaotic mad simmer at the moment where the outcomes are unpredictable and but useful as well. Ive learnt a lot from watching both of them and from the comments as well it has helped me a lot and Im finding the eco/off grid overlay really interesting.

I think the house needs a foundation and a porch! The farm is coming together so nicely, the outside of the house needs a little bit of something to match the rest of the lot!
Since I haven't really seen anyone say it yet: When the inventory glitch happens to me I just click around the different menu sections where the inventory is and let them load for a sec and after some clicking the inventory is back to normal, so the items are not actually gone, seems to just be a visual glitch. Just for everyone who did not know the "trick" already.
I hope this works and he can get back the dragon fruits. I did see two dragon fruits in the fridge after the supposed glitch. Were those the ones he was missing?
Also, it looked like the llama and a chicken was Chaz's inventory. Am I seeing things? You can see this at about 39:14, in the second row from the bottom on the left side.

Whoa, does that work for the household inventory too? My main family recently moved and lost half their stuff, including some sentimental items like their graduation photos, diplomas, and mountaineering award... I cried.
When hazel eventually moves into the farm, she should have a converted shed or shipping container with all her modern furniture and interior design stuff. Or all the stuff she stole haha

You should make an "enclosed porch" for Fae Fae's food bowl and her toys. That way, when it either rains or storms like this, she doesnt have to go outside in it.

Hey, little miss Sam has a mod that gives coolers a cooling inventory system. So you can actually store perishables there and it acts like a fridge only with a separate inventory. Very useful for this pack. I use it to store goods I want to sell… milk, eggs, crops.

I love her mods. So many little tweaks I never knew the game needed until I added her mods and now won’t play without them. She is a Modding Goddess.

In one of my games Patchy was a klepto, so I had to keep an eye on him constantly. Might be worth checking out so you don't have two kleptos around.

I went to a rural school and most of the teachers were also farmer families, so this statement basically sounds like something they’d say. I have friends who farm who’d say something similar as well.
A thunderstorm coming in means you SHOULD be up a metal ladder in the orchard, because the fruit needs to be picked before it absorbs too much water and splits.

Make a lot in the brambles a vacation home(really a camp site so just put some debug trees and a tent) and then you can spend the night and things will grow.
Did James forgot about his selling table or is he waiting for the "riches" to come so he doesnt need to go back to town everyday to sell his produce? There was a comment in a past video saying that it'd be a good idea to sell the produce on the selling table throughout the week and on the weekends (on Fair day) go to town and sell everything that's left to Kim
good in theory but the actual RL chaos of the week before the fair in tending the farm Im not sure the brothers would have the time since you have to commit a fair amount of time to achieving even one sale with a market table whereas he can leg it in to town and sell to stall vendors if necessary during the week.
The two new evil chickens should be named Clucky and the Bride of Clucky, Tiffheny

Instead of a room/level renovation maybe have hazel build some outbuildings/ room additions. She could build a farmhand bunkhouse, a tool/garden shed, a small barn, or maybe she can add a root cellar to your house. Or she could add a pantry for canned goods. She could even make a small dog house. And if you had a shed/barn you could have some tough looking barn cats to chase away mice from that mouse hole that you can get in build mode.
I've enjoyed a lot of your challenge modes; expansion created stories, but I'd have to agree with a few other comments, I really do enjoy this series out of all I've seen (For me personally along with the intertwined Dream Home Decorator Series), and that's after really enjoying years of content from you; I really do feel your content gets better and better; appreciate it James, always will be my fav Sims RUclipsr. :)
You should move the unbreakable sucker downstairs and put the one that breaks upstairs, it might last longer
