This is why i always tell my friends, practice after the games, not before. At best, it gives a false sense of mastery that makes you so much better for 4-5 rounds and then it drops and makes you feel extremely confused.
No, a real skill assessment is a quick 5-15 minutes warmup before jumping ingame, if it's not enough to compete at the rank you're playing at, then you're reliant on a practice that you're not doing properly because you've organised it around the short term result you've got, because it seems logical, if it is a direct improvement, then it is better.. Not true :)

The first advice is the best. From my experience if you have nice temmates you should help but if you see that they do stupid shit, then absolutely don't ever help them, on attack just say play default and go for kills.

League as a team based game? Master+ is Solo/Duo, and Grandmaster+ is SoloQueue only. If ur not gonna go pro you cannot play with a team.
