Striker is one of my favorite villains since he’s really tough both physically and mentally.. he knows his way around weapons and how to trick people’s minds
Striker is just a great villain! He's talented, sassy, tough, a cowboy and a sexy hot demon! it has all to be the charming big bad guy. And damn the shot at the end of the episode with him is such a highlight!
So you're basically one of the people who makes the animation sexy. And you are doing a fine job. Like, damn. The shot of Striker smirking, with all that saturated light? And the one where the background changes angle and he twirls the gun? You made those two look so freaking beautiful. Keep up the good work!
@Sienna Leigh I flipped my shiz when I recognized his voice on two particular words. The way he said dinner as "dinna" and nah as "naww". Had Walking Dead flashbacks, and immediately had to imdb search it
*Yoooooo, your compositing work is so impressive!* You definitely bring the scene to life with all the lightning! Also, your patience with masks is impressive, I literally avoid masking because it always seems like a lot of work extra work, but seeing your results kinda makes me rethink about the feature a bit🤔 also, hope you don't mind me asking- what your pc/laptop specs?
"I think I went overboard with the masking" uh no cause Striker looks SO FCKIN COOL I LOVE ALL THE EFFECTS THAT WERE PUT ON THIS CHARACTER I LOVE IT SO MUCH
We’re literally getting all of these beautiful shading, impressive animation and awesome 3D looking backgrounds for just a little web series! I really thank the crew for giving us these awesome atmospheric scenes!
Me: watches Viziepop since the “Die Young” song animation. Viziepop: *creates adult themed animations* Me: Y E S Viziepop Crew: *IMMENSE AMOUNT OF DETAIL. Me: *W H A T*
I'm so thankful that through all Vivzies projekts all the work behind the show, like Music composing, Background, Lighting etc. gets SO much more attention now! Stuff normally and sadly nobody was talking about before.
"What to expect moving forward"? We can expect more of this quality moving forward? The animation and lighting in this episode were _phenomenal,_ sign me the fuck up!
It genuinely confused me when I saw Stolas without color. Like I actually expected there to be a whole body underneath that blanket as if he wasn't just a drawing.
I love your new biblically accurate angel hybrid character 😂. Also, behind the scenes videos really interest me, so this was fun to see! You, Vivze, and the entire team from story-boarders to animators and compositors do great. ✨
the lighting in this episode was noticeably above the rest - it's amazing to see the animators get more skilled with their craft as the series goes on!
*sees that Serval uploaded a new video* *sees that it's about everyone's favourite sexy cowboy demon* PERFECT! Behind the scenes videos are always awesome to see, everyone from the artist crew did an INCREDIBLE work on this episode! ❤
There arent enough words to describe how much I thank you for the lighting you did on striker. Those two example scenes are like my favorites from the episode
I’m about to start compositing for a college owned pilot episode and I kinda use your channel as inspo because your work is so pretty 👌👌 your powers scare me lol
This is pure dedication and hard work. No one could have done it better. The animation just gets better and BETTER!! And that cgi at the end just sealed the deal! Thank you for making this video! It puts a better perspective of what y’all have to go thru.❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
I WISH I HAD A PROGRAM THAT COULD LET ME COMPOSE BETTER THAN ALIGHT MOTION. I love composition so so much, and lighting, and auugh any kind of prettifying editing. Also i have to give you major props on your editing of the CG background scene, it blended so flawlessly I thought it was just rotoscoped!
Gotta say.. it's so impressive and demystifying to see how you did this, and the scope of your work. I was part of the design team that made Sketchbook and Pixlr, so I'm usually on the sidelines of creatives. But also a total animation nerd, and I've been reading over the different job titles and animation studios of every show. It's fascinating from an outside perspective to see how specific the work can get (literally, prop design = items drawn on the show) I can appreciate how you owned this, and brought so much finesse and depth to flat animation with your lighting setup
I've honestly never been in to the technical side of much of anything, but I love everything about Helluva Boss that it made me want to better understand vocal talent, composition, and animation. It's crystal clear that this show has a dedicated and invested team on all fonts. Thank y'all for everything you put into this show, just so that we can geek out to it. 😍 I'm very much looking forward to following your work on this project, and on Tuca & Bertie!!!!
The composite work for the latest episode of HB is amazing. You did some awesome work on those shots, especially the red room fight scene and the dust particles in the final scene. Congrats on getting to work on Tuca & Birdy, Farfetched and more. That's pretty freaking cool. Looking forward to more of what you can share.
You guys are so amazing with your animating (so damn smooth), voicing, the story, the art, everything! I'm so so so glad that Striker was introduced, he genuinely looks like he's going to be an awesome villain and I'm so hyped to hear more of Norman Reedus. How the hell did you manage to get him in Helluva?! That's crazy!
You truly made a phenomenal job on all these scenes! The last shot was my absolute favorite and this episode in general is truly my all time favorite yet! I really wish to explore how to edit and compose like this for my own animations, might I ask where you learned to do this or if you have any videos/tutorials you could recommend for beginners? Gorgeous work once more, I really admire and adore the work and artistic value in composing, it really brings the animation to a whole new level!
The highlighting and the shadowing you put in these scenes make them feel real and alive. You really put your heart in your work. Your really an inspiration.
Even just as a watcher seeing the animation improve literally every episode is incredible! I always try and buy merch to support what you guys do because you guys do such impressive things and I can't wait to see more! If I could buy a DVD set of this whole season when it's done, I would in a heartbeat. Maybe you guys can do a collector's edition DVD set to wrap up the first season!
Please continue to do this in the future, and maybe event do it to old episodes, that would be sick. Truly an amazing artist and u deserve more respect.
I looove to see these behind the scenes videos after the episode. It is so cool to see just how much love and life is put into this series. Also i love that all the animators get a lot of trust and freedom :) It really shows just how much passion is in Helluva Boss! Also that scene where Striker twirls the pistol is SO clean!!
As an animation lover, and dream to be one some day, thank you for a look behind the scenes! This was very entertaining and awe-inspiring; and gave me ideas on how lighting and masks give great effects. You guys and gals do a lot of hard work, but the results pay off. Keep continue to be awesome and stay beautiful!
This episode was awesome and looked so good..... And don't even get me started on Striker and the way you designed him! (I love his golden tooth lol) He's my favorite villain
I've been wanting to learn more about compositing as of recent and that speed comp part is EXACTLY the kinda thing I've been looking for. Thank you for sharing!!
This by far is the best animation I've seen in a few years. I love everything that is in Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel. There is not a single character I hate and that says a lot. I've already ordered 4 shirts from shark robot and can't wait for them to arrive! :D please don't stop doing these animations cuz it will be a huge loss to me. I also bet this can make its way to Netflix
This is aesthetically the BEST episode of this series! Everything is just so smooth and colorful. And the lighting you do on it is just... amazing! Great job!
I would kill to help make this show, either being a voice actor and/or trying to animate. I've always wanted to try doing those two things for a show but I could never find a show I was interested in helping with until I saw Helluva. It's such a masterpiece
YOU did the little sketchy scene of Blitzø's plan? Omg, thank you for gifting the earth with that. The characters all look so goofy and cute. I hope the sticker sheet in that style comes back to the merch site soon, it recently sold out before I could nab it 😫
This is the first video that I have seen from you. Absolutely appreciate your work, and I am pleasantly surprised at how much I learned from this. Excited to see future projects!
I'm so glad I found your account! I could not stop watching those Striker scenes, the animation made me so incredibly happy and the lighting was gorgeous
The amount of detail that goes into this show is so impressive. You can tell it’s made with love.
Hey this guys kinda sounds like blitz.
Very true, he should apply to be Blitz’s voice actor.

Ever seen Rango? Ya know that 2011 movie with Johnny Depp starring as a sherif chameleon? Striker just reminds me sooooo much of RattleSnakeJake.
Oh god now I see it too-
