I absolutely love the styling and usability of the power- how about you?

I really like the SE model with the real brakes. No need for a quick-shifter, or lean computer, keep it simple for the real man motorcycle. I had a 2011 Z1000, which I loved. So quick, yet reliable, and handsome. I got rear-ended though by a kid in a FORD Explorer at a traffic light. I really like the new 2024 Z900SE or the 2024 GSX1000s naked also. It would be a toss-up. Both are perfect bikes. Yeah, put a full exhaust on it and get a tune. So nice.

So sorry to hear of your accident! I'm glad you're relatively alright, though. While not completely necessary, the SE has much more adjustable suspension too which is a very nice add. The green frame looks amazing too.
      I do have a video on the GSX1000 if you're interested (ruclips.net/video/eWkgGbnz35g/видео.html)
Looking at the used market, they don't seem to hold their value as well as the Z900 does- but the quickshifter is really smooth on them. I see more of the Z900's out around Houston than the GSX1000S which could be a good or a bad thing depending on if you want uniqueness or recognition.
Spoiler alert, in the video I said I'd choose the Z900 ;)

I absolutely loved my z900 especially for the value. Such a good bike for around town or full blown canyon carving!

I have the 2013 Z1000. Wish it had a TFT and cruise control.

      I love the 2013 z1000. My favorite is the 2014-2016 generation. If I don't get a z900 I'll be getting a z1000.

I'm thinking about getting the SE model another $1500 more but it gives me what I would add on anyway and it would cost me 5 times that amount.... it is a really good bike for the money...

The suspension alone makes it a more customizable bike. Plus, green is the best color 😉

This bike is so fast compared to my current bikes. It's usable power but also has the ability to skirt the line of danger. I love it!

    In the 1980s the best
Hooligan bike was the YAMAHA RDLC.
    Before that the kawazaki h2..
    Now the z900.
Give me give me give me.

      Had a kwak triple
      Had a full race RDLC.
      On the road..
      Built a few custom jobs.
      Had a yoshi gs 1000
      Wrote it off.
Was tuning the carbs on a gixer gobbed it on the test runs..
Best fun I had was on the RD.
      HOOLIGAN in the blood.
Z900 I'd put drag bars on it. Straight away.
Then it would all start again.
      Race exhaust tune up.
      Ect Ect.
That RD you had put me in mind of the RD 400..
Good to hear from a like minded bike nut..
