She wiped the floor wit the defense again 😂😂💀
Takes a special kind of a human being to do this kind of work but this lady is beyond special she is spectacular. Thank you for your service Doctor Ellen you're one in a million and a hellofa Pathologist.
Yep. Someone who likes to work with the dead. Not desirable
How? She really lost it under cross examination and could tell that she was bothered and defensive went asked about her conclusions and notes.
She resents being questioned. Her anger really got the best of her obvious by her shaking and the way she kept opening the water and drinking. If she was so confident in her finds why was she so nervous. With her 20 years and such an expert. She missed many opportunities to be more efficient like checking for residues and checking or X-ray the brain. Too many mistakes. Too big of a hurry.
@@Patricia-uz3fm she could have anxiety and she did not center herself before stepping on the witness stand. Rule #1 never be overconfident. She was arrogant. Dick popped her balloon by telling her she goes on a tangent.
I’m so thankful she can see through him. Harpootlian is a brazen idiot. Disrespectful, obtuse, completely inappropriate. I wouldn’t let him defend a stray cat. He cant understand the simplest of concepts.
THAT is what a Brilliant, passionate-about-her profession, forensic pathologist's testimony looks like folks. KUDOS to her for explaining a complex topic clearly and concisely!
Did you give her a gold star teach?
She would be an amazing teacher! She explained in such a way, that I totally understood her conclusions & why she came to them.
Super passionate
Really? Did you not watch the cross examination where she completely fell apart and lost it? 😂 some of you I swear are absolutely blinded by biases.
@@alexsosa5727 or we didn't watch every video released showing what you had the time to watch.
This lady is incredible. When I was a student nurse here in Scotland, I had the opportunity to spend time with various Doctors who, like this wonderful lady, were passionate about what they did and were more than happy to spend time explaining things to you if they thought you were interested. I watched her first testimony and was impressed with her account and I was doubly impressed at the way she refused to be baited or intimidated by the defence. Once again, she and other witnesses for the Prosecution are a credit to their county.
Get your eyes tested she's a nutcase
I’m glad she won’t allow these degenerate Southerners to get to her. Scumbag wealthy inbreds like the Murdaughs all belong in jail. Fry the pill junkie for killing his family.
Agree she made sure and made very clear how the bullets entered & exited the body.

Gotta love a lawyer trying to teach forensics to an expert pathologist. She is amazing and so credible!!!
In case you didn’t watch the trial yesterday the prosecution lawyer did the exact same thing when the defense expert pathologist was on the stand
Gotta love a pathologist losing it on stand when her theories and work is questioned by the defense attorney and the defense expert pathologist aka the CHIEF medical examiner for the GEORGIA BUREAU OF INVESTIGATIONS you in a state where the law enforcement and the medical examiners actually complete a competent murder investigations unlike in this case where they’re hiding their notes and ashamed about their work.
@@CLEMSONtiger300 The defense "expert pathologist" never saw the bodies in person.

She is so fascinating to listen to. Such a smart woman. I find her to be so amazing.
What's her religion? She doesn't look White American.
I agree, she was born to teach!! I learn from her, she's brilliant in understanding what a lay person may not understand, and then explaining herself accordingly.
@@quantaviouslincoln-yu3dl Uhhh….. who cares? Why would you ask that? It’s completely irrelevant and has no impact on this case.
Did you all see her first & second time in the stand? This is her third time
And she still has a great personality and demeanor. And not making the most money.
I have such admiration for individuals who do this kind of work. She handles herself very well on the stand. She's smart and incapable of being pushed around.
As for the Defense, I can't help but feel they are just grasping at straws and doing anything and everything to find fault with testimony that is not in line with getting Alex out of this mess he created. It' just looks desperate.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes
I believe that they’re clean out of straws to grasp…
We may recall the similar ongoing argument to this day over the head wound caused in the assassination of President John F Kennedy. Her explanation in re Paul’s injury makes more sense to me than the men’s yesterday! In fact, I believe that a contact wound from a shotgun on top of the head, would likely cause the head (face and skull) to blow apart. (I am not a hunter or a personally experienced gun person, but have seen the damage that various guns do in the drug infested inner city, etc.).
@@barbaraarianajones6267 I agree though I must admit that I didn’t find any of his testimony to be credible…

I really like this medical examiner
Jeez, this defense attorney really is a condescending bully! I get that it's his job to "defend" his client, but he's asking the same damn question ten different ways just to trip her up. He's definitely not a subject matter expert and the pathologist stood her ground! Alex will be in prison for stealing millions from the law practice but it would be great to see justice served on a silver platter for Maggie and Paul's murder.
This Pathologist has intelligence and class as is demonstrated by her control and ability to answer questions and explain what happened
Dr Riemer is no push over for defense
She gets frustrated . I wonder if there's a requirements in that county for the autopsy final report to be certified as a true and accurate complete report under penalty of perjury?
By her control? Are you kidding me? Did you not watch the cross? Harpootlian absolutely made her lose her cool and look flustered on the stand, she looked like she was about to have a nervous breakdown. She’s clearly not confident with her assessment and knows deep down the defense expert who is a CHIEF MEDICAL EXAMINER FOR THE GBI had a way more plausible theory and called her out on a shoddy autopsy. The police, the state prosecutor and the pathologist really did a poor job and the defense is poking massive holes in their theories and investigations.
@@alexsosa5727 I think she's probably very brilliant, thus hyper. Their types of brains work extremely fast and she is probably getting flustered that he is not listening and he's TRYING to mess her up.
@@alexsosa5727 I would say because she has been personally insulted by defense, that’s why she is frustrated. Even a defense attorney can have class rather than insulting the witnesses. No way. She absolutely fell apart on the stand and wasn’t answering the questions that were asked and was instead going off on tangents. She was super defensive when challenged in her findings and had a mini nervous breakdown. Not a good look if you’re confident in your work.
Terrific testimony.
Murdough's defense attorney really, really is insulting and has that weird thing that some guys do trying to make a woman seem spacey by deliberately interrupting her. Desperation.
Practiced Bully Chauvinism, he is a master of it. I can just see him flipping it to act as if he is kind and nice while undercutting a woman as wel.
So true. It’s disgusting!
Actually the defense really did a great job making the states expert lose her cool and become unsettled.
@@alexsosa5727I thought she got kind of flustered to, but ,He was trying to get her to answer a more involved question with a yes or no answer. She was talking way over his head, and, He didn’t like it.
@Alex Sosa As a juror, I wouldn't find that helpful at all. He couldn't refute her knowledge, so he did that instead. It would actually reinforce my trust in her knowledge.
Harpoolitian complaining about her going off an a tangent is hilarious. Every witness he put on the stand, including his client, went off an tangent on almost every question even if it needed just a yes/no answer
Also Harpoolitian was continually unprepared, fumbled his exhibits EACH time, caused delays for the jury and The Court and appeared to be often befuddled and lagging -- it was sad thing him, he did his client and himself a disservice --I think the judge barely tolerated his ineptitude but apparently cut him a lot of slack (perhaps to avoid any nitpicking disgruntled backlash from the defense team to raise any appeal issues -- so they got a free ride to be inept
Defense atty is trying to stop the flow of her expert and simple testimony; an attempt to make her look foolish & simple to the jury. No luck there!
Thank God they have her!! She knows her stuff!! She sounds like a top university professor!
Dr Reimer is amazing on the stand and in her lab. Stand firm!
Really ? You didn’t watch the cross did you? Cuz you must’ve missed the part where she fell apart and had a nervous breakdown.
She was terrible very unprofessional for a doctor. She's not confident in her opinion otherwise she wouldn't have went off on a tangent and nervous like she was. She knew this was for court and she didn't X-rays of brain shave his head or write in her notes about the packing material. She said herself she knew little about bullets and spray. The most important fact is she said she's never done an autopsy on a contact wound to the Head where the brain was blew out so therefore how can she testify to something she's never seen in real life. Both of the males agreed with her to every fact except for one angle and she wanted to be argumentative about it I agree with the men they were much more professional and confident in their opinion
She is so good at what she does. So glad they brought her back to confirm there was no second shooter.
He’s a jerk of an attorney. She’s trying to explain her findings and he leans on the desk as if bored and not interested with what she’s saying. This doctor is eccentric but knowledgeable and an expert. She’s awesome! And I love that she gives it right back to him.
After 20 years… How to do an Autopsy…. Chapter 1 . Step 1. What is with this judge allowing him to be so argumentative? She is not going to be bullied. She examined Paul… not some drawing out of a text book.

I find her not only intelligent but confident in what she says & does. Defense team is rude & condescending to everyone who does not go along with their opinions. Not just people with college degrees have the knowledge to be an expert. I have hired people out of college who were dumb as rocks because they did not have any practical experience. I think defense team are as crooked as AM.
To take on this nasty client, they would have to be…..
Um the defense team is fighting for their clients freedom and calling the state out on their shoddy incompetent investigation. She absolutely fell apart and was bout to have nervous breakdown when she was challenged by Harpootlian with the findings of the defense ME/pathologists findings. She’s clearly not confident in her opinion because she got super defensive when challenged on it. When she was cross examined in her initial testimony she wasn’t this flustered but after seeing that a reliable and respectable pathologist disputed her work and theory she got super defensive and couldn’t handle the heat. She fucked up. She even admitted in her initial testimony that she wasn’t for sure the direction of the shots and said the Maggie may have had 4 or 5 entry wounds and that she wasn’t 100% sure.
She's very unprofessional because she's up there getting upset and unhinged. She didn't x-ray the brain she didn't shave the head she didn't do her job by the book. She also isn't confident in her own opinion otherwise she wouldn't be so nervous. She knows very little about bullets. She said she's never seen a contact when to the Head where the brain blew out so therefore she's never worked on a case like that this before how can she possibly testify to it
She did an exemplary job and who wouldn’t be defensive when dealing with a moron who won’t accept even the most obvious truths?
Murdaugh is not crying tears of grief but rather tears of "GUILT" !!
It was already testified he Murdough was a "theatrical " attorney. This is theatrics. It has already been proven he is not a man if integrity.
Yep. He has a pattern, wipe the invisible tears away and look over to check that the jury was watching his performance. If he didn’t choose the path of a cold blooded killer, he could have been one heck of a D grade actor.
He just feel sorry for him self. Reminds me of D. Brooks who find tears usefully when he tried to effect the jury.
There's no way he killed them because if so they would have found blood in his shower where he would have had to clean off. Also the times don't add up he was literally in the feed room and then back at his house and left for his parents within minutes and they have proof of that. So you're saying he shot both of them with different guns then got rid of the guns and the clothes and took a shower. Meanwhile within 4 minutes he was also on the phone trying to call them plus talking to others. Doesn't add up
u r 110 % CORRECT,
"Yes, overlooked by the defense pathologist..." oh the shade...👏❤
I caught that!
Yea because she failed to do a proper professional autopsy that provided notes and enough images for other pathologists to review her findings. Notice how defensive she got when she was challenged by the defense with the findings their expert found? She absolutely fell apart on the stand and had a mini nervous breakdown.
Gosh she sure paints a dreadful picture of Paul’s injuries.
Anyone else see the lack of emotion from Buster throughout this trial?, I mean his mother and kid brother were murdered and seeing him sit there like he was watching a juggling show.

It seems as if Paul was shot first, and Maggie witnessed the shooting and was shot second as she turned to leave the scene.
When the defense has resorted to trying to discredit a witness that's a sign of desperation. They did that many times today.
Um that’s literally the job of the defense. Lol wtf do you think they’re gonna do? Go up there and ask them question that will only back up the states theory and findings? Of course not! Big difference between performing the actual autopsy versus viewing photographs.
Poot is intentionally rattling her. He's been able to suss up her personality from her last testimony (she is no Mark Tinsely) and custom prepare his questions for Dr. Riemer to make her feel defensive. I wish Waters would have objected more.
I wish she would have help up a photo of a contact shotgun wound to the head. Believe me, the head is blown off and unrecognizable. Even when she would be reprimanded, the jury can't unsee that (remember Jodi Arias trial). I personally view extremely graphic photos, and view them as a medical student would, not a gore fan.
I hope the jury sees through Poot's arrogant attack to Dr. Riemer. I also sense Poot is misogynistic.

She didn't as a doctor you're supposed to do your job fully and she did not shave the brain or x-ray it. She did not put in her notes about the packing material which would have been a very important fact. She said herself she doesn't know much about guns bullets the way they spray or go out. Most important fact she said was that she has never seen a contact wound to the Head the blew the brain out in real life. So therefore how can she testified her something she's never seen in life with confidence. She's so unprofessional in the way she's acting and getting upset and nervous and it's because she knows they're questioning her logic. The reason they're questioning it is because she's probably more than likely wrong on that one fact. Both men that didn't know each other that had more knowledge more professional mannerisms testified and agreed with her on all but one fact and she wanted to argue. Also if he killed them there should have been blood in his shower so they didn't find any probably didn't even test for it. Another thing I don't think he killed on because they have as time from the kennel to his house I think they said it was within 4 minutes. So how would he have shot both of them with two different guns got rid of both of the guns and the clothes and went and took a shower and washed all the blood mater off of him. All while being on the phone making calls to them as well as calls to other people who answered. Oh and also while he was getting rid of her phone yeah that does not add up at all there's no way possible
From today's testimony, I believe that Paul's left hand was holding the end of the barrel when he was shot, he was trying to pull the rifle, away from the killer and had to lean forward when the killer stepped back before the shot went off.
I agree...I think the killer was in the doorway and Paul rushed him after the first shot. That's how Paul ended up justputside the door. I think the killer had both guns lying in wait and waited until Maggie was a distance away before he shot Paul. Then when Maggie came running to Paul he hunted her down
Her explanation is fantastic. Dont understand why its so difficult for defense too understand.
The defense knows she's fantastic. That's why he is being so aggressive towards her. He knows it isn't good for his lying client!

The defense attorney is attempting to associating a contact wound with the victims' manner of death, but Dr. Riemer has explained clearly again and again that she performed the autopsy in person and the type of injury and damage is NOT consistent with a contact wound originating at the head. Rather, the damage is indicative of an entrance wound created by a gun approximate 3 feet away, starting near the shoulder and exiting the head. Yet, the defense attorney continues to try to associate the wounds with contact by referring to a text and photos that are irrelevant. Surely everyone understands that the most accurate and thorough autopsy is the one done in person on the body, not judgements made at a later date by examining several photographs.

Just on her keeping notes I understand that. When I was a inventory manager I would check bins to see if the inventory matched the system inventory. I would write it down for my personal use then Id checked all the different bins with the same part. So in the end someone would put they pulled that part number from one bin when actually they pulled it from another. I kept notes so at the end I could find out if they pulled they parts from the other bins or if they forgot to enter it in the system. We would have for an example 60 parts missing or extra 60 parts but I kept notes so at the end I could determine what could of happened or what did happen. Those were my notes that I wrote down to keep up with step to step to figure out the ending state of what happened. Sounds like this lady started at the VERY BEGINNING keeping notes to either rule out one thing or add to her notes. To me that's called being thorough and making sure she does her job correctly. Yes this was a long comment but some ppl doesn't keep notes and at the end they have nothing to look back too unless you start over. My boss didn't ask me to keep notes I did my job thorough so my job would be correct so it was no need for my boss to ask for my scribbled notes I kept.
EDIT... I know a death is way worse than the job I did but, honestly I don't care what kind of job you have that you are over it's essential that you keep your personal notes so you don't have to guess about anything in the end if questioned. You can rule something out in your notes when you go back and correct them in the end if you have your written dated notes to go back too. Honestly this is why she is saying what she did and she's the type I'd want over anything that was a person project whether simple or something horrific such as death because she cares about what she's doing.
I respect that method, because of the respect you show to that method: because of the type of work you do: l would do it the same way as you do it: or l couldn't live with myself: l call that being responsible through my thoroughness: it requires the utmost diligence: l'm proud of yr comment and yr work ethics. Pray continue, you make a difference in this world . Bless you
Dr. Riemer knows her stuff. The Defense should have requested a copy of the completed autopsy for Their expert to study. Prosecution wins the battle of the pathologists.
Around 5500
Look at the pride on her face
The job she takes seriously
Amazing job🙏👍
I love seeing wemon this capable. She's to confident in her knowledge to allow anyone, even the "Great OlDick harpo" to intimidate her. Because truth is truth! Yes mam and you are a credit to the profession! Thank you for the hard work!!
This Dr is just awesome!
This Doctor was awesome and knowledgeable about what she does and did in her autopsy.
She was terrible and very unprofessional for a doctor and and not confident in her opinion at all otherwise she would have been so nervous and went off on a tangent. She knew this was for court she didn't x-ray the brain she didn't shave his head she didn't write in her notes about the packing material. She said that she knows little about bullets and spray. The most important fact she said she's never done an autopsy on a person with a contact wound to the Head where the brain blew out so how could she truly know about something she's never seen in real life. Both of the men agreed with her on everything except for that one angle in which she wanted to be argumentative about. I believe the men that were much more professional and confident in their opinion
What doesn’t he understand about them being HER NOTES!!!!! He should only be focused on the final autopsy, Damn..
I would absolutely love to work with her... she shows her passion for what she does.
Be careful what you wish for 🤣
Loved to take her classes and her mentoring but wouldn't enjoy working for her!!!
I love love love Dr. Reimer....she held her own, and did an outstanding job, up against this defense.. gotta give her a major amount of credit.... Dr. Reimer , to me, is ,and was, a huge effective part for this trial. I know, she is amazing at her job, and the best of educators there are in her field. Thank you Dr. You were the best by far.
Love her
Rewatching this about 6 months after the trial. I absolutely loved how she stood her ground with Harpootlian and defended her conclusions. She gave some amazing testimony!
Defense atty is abrasive & extremely rude - Prosecution Atty & Judge need to tamper him down for harassing this accredited witness.
Hopefully jury is taking note of their behavior.
could be chance in appeal I cant think so Alex are going away for both crimes hes stuck
What a stupid defense lawyer. She is a professional
Dr. R!
Way to hold your ground!!
5500 times viewing dead bodies. What would that do to a person? 😳😳
My daughter does this work. She’s incredibly caring and feels very close to these people/ souls/ bodies. She says she is honored in helping these people get to where they are trying to get - into their next phase of life.
I've worked with pathologist's before and they tend to be people that can compartmentalize, but they are very respectful in handling the bodies and their expectations of how others assisting them might handle autopsies. Highly intelligent people.
The defense was trying so hard to unnerve this woman and she held her composure. A true show of elegance and knowledge.
Oh no. She had no composure she was an embarrassment
@@Buzzoff315 Okay, Buster.
This woman is smarter than any man in court.
Defense lawyer: "Do you remember the question",
Pathologist: "I don't know it was your question!"
Who is the woman sitting down with something on her mouth? And what is that machine?
That was funny , l love Dr Riemer she was fantastic witness.😊😊😊😊
❤love this Dr . She’s amazing ..Goat of pathology right here ❤️ .
Kinsey and Her findings match!
She sure doesn't like her work questioned. She was irate. She knows her stuff and explains things clearly.
Harpootlian insists that Paul had a contact wound which no matter how many times Riemer tells him the face would have been blown apart with a contact wound... she's done 5500 autopsies. Not sure why it really matters whether he was shot up the neck or down from the top of the head. I would have thought who did the shooting and from where and if there was one or two shooters would have been the important questions. Does it matter really what kind of wound Paul had? I don't understand the preoccupation by the Defense to discuss how his brain left his head. What am I missing? Thank goodness the prosecution have finally got it together and are asking the right questions. The last lawyer asking Mr. Kinsey all those questions was incredible. He really did his homework. Lets get this murderer put away..
Yea but how many autopsies us she performed with a contact shotgun wound from the back of the head with birdshot? I bet you all of her autopsies of shotgun contact wounds to the head were suicides where the barrel of the gun was placed directly inside of the persons mouth or under their chin which would cause the face to fall apart and cause a fracture to the skull and brain. But I guarantee you that she’s not done 1 autopsy besides Paul’s where the contact wound was from behind and at angle angle i.e. not directly at center of the back of the head but instead it was aimed at an angle and that’s why it spared his face. It’s simple. And makes a lot more sense than her theory. If he was shot from the side his face would have far more injury from the pellets from the pellets expanding his specially from 3-4 ft away which is states theory.
She's not incredible, she's credible.
The Dr is just being bullied by Poot because he knows he can. Weak man.
I’m inclined to refute the direct shot to Paul’s head being square to the back of his head. I think that such a shot would have blown off part of his face which was found to be completely intact.
I agree with her completely on that point.
The defense is grasping at straws
Look at dr kinsey in the background when Pooty is talking 😂😂😂😂
He looks disgusted and he laughs or smiles at Poot with his stupid questions l'm glad Dr Riemer put Poot in his place.
I can’t decide who was more entertaining today, her or Kinsey 😂😂😂 they were just so DONE with it all
